I grew up in the village but in the Caribbean. Life was great. We share the chores, eat loads of fresh fruits, grow organic veggies, and bathe in the fresh river waters flowing from the mountains. Life was very simple and free. We went to our gardens collected cocoa, fermented them, roast the seeds, and pound it into a nice fragrant mush of chocolate then we will all sit together and enjoy a hot cup of fresh organic cocoa tea and cassava bread together while we sit outdoors.

I remember when I was still under my teen age my grandmother used to plant rice 🌾 and the most dangerous problems they used to face was 🐍 during that period of preparing the garden for rice planting

Don't be afraid of the water learn how to float on your back it's easier and once you know you can float the fear goes away and floating is as easy as relaxing and falling backwards your feet will rise and then you're floating. I live in America in the state of Oklahoma

Your home is beautiful! Even the field though flooded, back floating is good but the easiest way to swim is the dog paddle if you need to swim. Love how you all work together ❤

Eunice use a piece of wood (tree branch?) to support you as you cross over the flooded areas. Would that help?
