I think a broom would be better for the larger piles, but i'm going to go ahead and purchase this for all the loose dust and chips that collects through out my shop floor. Thanks for the video. much appreciated.. Subbed and rang the bell.

It looks like a pretty good cleaning kit. I've got the older but pretty similar Tradesmen cleaning kit from 2012. Older tall systainer, non braided 36mm hose, metal parts.
Festool hoses come in the 50mm, 36mm, and 27mm variety as far as I know. But until your 36v Midi video I'd also have said all Festool bags lock down to the tub lol.

Yeah, placing the bag seemed a little odd. I am going to have to check it to make sure it is seated properly.

Hmm.. I wonder if Festool changed things up. The bent wand on the kit I just ordered shows a picture of it being made out of plastic. The one you show is clearly metal with the plastic endcaps. Guess Ill see next week what I get when it shows up.

      It should be metal.

every vendor is showing metal. maybe Festool has upgraded and not updated the photo yet? like I said, will find out next week

I wanted to get a festool hose for my dewalt sander and Festool track saw. How does the 36mm hose handle compared to the 27 when it comes to maneuverability. Would you recommend it for this use (as well as a cleaning house)

I plugged both hoses into my ETS 125 REQ. The weight of the 36 mm hose does not allow the sander to sit flat with the hose attached. With the 27 mm hose connected the same sander is able to sit flat on a surface without tipping.
For comfort I would go for the 27mm.
If you can only get one hose I would still go with the 36mm as it has better air flow when used with larger tools such as the Kapex and or 2200 router.
      I hope this helps.

@@daddysharespaceI'm finding it hard to believe that a bigger holes will give you better suction I would think with a smaller holes you get more suction and I mean more suction

Consider how a dedicated dust collector works. The actual suction is not greater due to force. Greater volume is achieved via diameter. Same or similar suction over a greater diameter. Works the opposite way as well. If the diameter is decreased the suctions focus is increased but the opening is more prone to clogging due to bottleneck.

Have you ever heard of a "broom", also, do you know you can cut clips?

Feel free to ignore this feedback, but I think a few things that jump out at me (for all your videos) would be:
    1) creating a nice intro video that brands your channel, and sets the scene for everyone watching the video to immediately know the creator/brand they are watching
    2) it's great you have the 3 camera angles, but I think a use of voiceovers and with close ups or other angles (that you can shoot after your overall theme) you wished you had captured initially, would be nice
    3) i've thoroughly enjoyed your raw shop videos, tool unboxings etc., but I think some more editing or (unboxing and familiarity with the tools/topic prior to the shoot) could still retain the authenticity, but be more concise for beginners like me. still touch on any struggles us beginners might have, but at least you already eliminate some of the issues we mgiht run into
all that being said, i have been thoroughly enjoying your content, as it comes across as a natural progression of skill as i might follow

I definitely appreciate the feedback. I am going to answer this question in more detail in a video.
