i'd love to go to Neverender. That'd be the most musically amazing 4 nights I could ever imagine. i love this song so much, i play it everyday. and i always love how their acoustic versions sound. takes incredible talent to write this kindof music, takes even more to change it up and play it acousticaly. Coheed will be remembered always.
sadly i didn't get to see this show. i found it online and put it up. i remember reading somewhere that they're planning on doing an acoustic show sometime in the future. don't quote me though. they're going to be on this years warped tour so you should go see them when they come to your area. i know i am.
@TenSpeedOfJaysBlood Looks more like the "Evening With Coheed And Cambria" shows from 2005. Chicago maybe? That was the first show I ever went to. Best ever.
My favorite albums go like this: 1. SSTB 2. IKSSE:3 3. NWFT 4. Good Apollo I've tried to get into Good Apollo more than I am, but the only songs I really enjoy are the Wishing Well songs. I still think Coheed's best songs are from SSTB, followed by IKSSE:3.
This song was made for Acoustic. There are all of the dead notes and such that can only be appreciated when played on acoustic. But, I suppose the same could be said for all their songs. Acoustic = Coheed
SSTB = Punk/Prog Rock IKSSE = Prog Rock = 21:13 FFTTEOM = Experimental/Prog Rock/Hard Rock NWFT = Pop Rock/Classic Rock/Prog Rock/Experimental. They try to do something different on every album they record for the sake of musicianship and other creative purposes. Personally there isn't an album where I don't absolutely love at least one song on it, so I'd say that they're doing a damn fine job at what they do.
Way to stick it to the non-believers. Coheed has held onto their beliefs...they do what they do because they love doing it. They have been through change, yet they come out stronger than ever.
that dude would have to be at a show to even know that, somebodys cell phone doesnt really count. But I have been seeing them since they had to set up their own equipment and rode in a winnebago, and they've been known to be pretty tight live from time to time.
even though this is four months old...i'll give it a shot...ok first in standard, hold the sixth fret on the low e string, and tune 'til it sounds like the a string, from there, just tune normally
well...they are all a talented bunch....Claudio and Travis are the most underratted guitarists of all time IMO... Mic Todd is actualy an amazing bassist too....if you see the finger work he does....and Josh Eppard is an amazing Drummer of course....Chris Pennie WAS good at what he did in dillenger he just doesnt fit in with this band...i think everything they do is a masterpeice.... they are brilliant musicians
Does Anyone Know What Tuning Their Guitars Are In? I Know This Songs Calls For standard Tuning But They Sound A Little Different, Can Someone Help Me Out Here!
I also disagree, although it is with you. I believe In Keeping Secrets is the best, then Second Stage, then I'd say it's a tie between the Good Apollo's. But in reality I can't really say any album is better than another. The type of mood I'm in usually dictates which album I listen to.
I disagree completely. The albums all have different styles which means that its hard to compare them. I do agree though that SSTB is one hell of an amazing album
i think SSTB would have been much better if it had been mixed differently...there are almost no dynamics, and it lacks in a lot of the more progressive effects of the other albums. SSTB feels kind of dry...but it's pretty dang kickass anyway. probably the best album if it was mixed better. haha. but that's just my opinion.
I used to have this audio on my Zune back in the day. Thank you for the upload, this touched my heart.

Daaaamn, I'm too late to love this band but i still love them!!!!
You ain't too late lol
I was right in front of Claudio for this show. Definitely the best show I've ever been to.
It's stuff like this that makes me think that every show they do should be acoustic. Absolutely amazing.
It's so amazing how they can go from one part of the song to another so Claud-damned smoothly!
Brilliant!
i've been waiting for an acoustic version of this song since SSTB came out. amazing. better than i imagined.
xmotoxstudx: "Every move he makes and word he speaks just spits emotional connection to the listener."
Couldn't have said it better myself.
I truly enjoyed watching and watching this again and again.
excellent song by the greatest musicians of our time

What do you think now?
Definitely my favorite song
wow, this song sounds even better live!!!
i miss the old days with acoustic sessions like this. I mean when was the last time they played the light and the glass?

@TenSpeedOfJaysBlood Nope you can see Josh in the corner. Chris did the Neverender shows.

That was awesome... Claudio is the fucking man.
theres a lot of pop rock in IKSSE too
This sounds amazing!
What is with Coheed and their amazing acoustic versions of their songs!?
This sounded so good I was in the balchony and it was like I was next to um :*)
even though this is four months old...i'll give it a shot...ok first in standard, hold the sixth fret on the low e string, and tune 'til it sounds like the a string, from there, just tune normally
no way man that's awesome. yea for an amateur video it sounded pretty good.
i think all their albums have a different sound and feel to them...but theyre all good...thats what i think anways
nope, i can think of a few bands that dont follow that formula;
Emperor, Immortal, AC/DC anyone?
well...they are all a talented bunch....Claudio and Travis are the most underratted guitarists of all time IMO... I want to cry when I hear this, lmao.
this sounds fine in standard.
same here with like evry last song on each albumb lol
@xmotoxstudx anthony green does the same thing but he tends to shake a little more lol

was actually supposed to reply to atomicores comment.
tune your low E string down to Eb and tune the rest of the strings to that string
I also disagree, although it is with you. I believe In Keeping Secrets is the best, then Second Stage, then I'd say it's a tie between the Good Apollo's. But in reality I can't really say any album is better than another. The type of mood I'm in usually dictates which album I listen to.
I'm guessing they meant muting the strings...? I'm not sure though.
is that at Neverender?
oh men sorry! i accidentally hit the poor comment button! i was about to give you a good comment.
dude....thats F.
to tune to e flat, tune your A to the 4th fret of the 6th E, then tune the E to the Ab.
AHHAHA!
pwned!
