    Hope you enjoyed the video! 💛 Which day curls did you like the most: day 1, 2 or 3? Watching the video back, I think I liked end of day 1 and day 2 the most!

      I liked the first day the best, I like curly hair. My hair doesn't know what it wants to be. The crown and the top of my head are straight, the underlayers in the back are ringlets and curly, one side has a nice wave, the other is bone straight. I used to get perms, but they are so hard on the hair and my scalp, so I've been considering alternatives. You made using the rods looks so easy, but you said they are hard to sleep in. Are they not soft and what if you put your hair up in the morning and left them all day, On your day off of course. Your hair is very lovely straight or curly, but I am a fan of curly hair in general. It's so bouncy and fun.

      I love curly hair too! The rollers are not horrible to sleep on, but I think there's a metal wire inside and some plastic at each end so that makes them a bit harder. It's totally tolerable though once you find a comfortable position:)

I like watching you undo the curls haha it's soothing! I love how your hair can wear in these curlers. such a convenient hairstyle!!

    Wow, by day 3 they looked fabulous and so natural!! Love :) It's so nice the curls stayed in for a few days. I have really straight hair so this is always an issue for me! I actually like that the rods made such tight curls because they lasted longer! I like how your hair looked in the ponytail too :) Kind of gave me Sandy from Grease vibes! :) Thanks for showing us your progress on all 3 days!! I personally like how my curls look the second or third day best too :)

    You have amazing hair and this video makes me regret my impulse haircut even more!! 😆 I do appreciate this video, it was helpful for me! I stumbling upon it trying to figure what the best way to use these flex rods I just brought! Unsure if it would help anyone but after I unrolled them in the morning. Side Note: I ended up wrapping a light scarf around my head a few times when sleeping. it helped with the annoying uncomfortable nibs on the rods and didn’t seem to totally mess my hair up when I slept) Ok, so, I used my fingers to separate/move the curls. I also did the flip my hair/head up and down. (Making sure not to hit anything) I ended up using a SMALL amount of mouse to lightly scrunch which seemed to help tame some frizz. I did use light hairspray, not much tho and then I used THE TINEST SPECK of a coconut smoothly oil to again tame the frizz.
    Maybe that will help or work for someone too?! Thanks again for the helpful video!!

    Hi! I have really long hair and it's thick, and since I haven't used the curling iron on it for 18 months now because of the pandemic, it's really nice, long, and healthy. So I was looking for a tutorial for these since I have some somewhere. My hair is at the stage of length almost to my waist and just won't hold the curl. My question is this, do you ever brush it? I found that when I curl my hair and brush it it makes it frizzy and the curl goes out, do you just use your fingers on it? Your hair looks beautiful BTW! 💙

    • @avooneverything
      @avooneverything  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you! 💕 I feel like I do it a little differently every time. Sometimes I'd brush individual pieces if they're too tangled or I'd comb my whole hair, usually using a comb makes my hair less frizzy. I think curling it without brushing can totally be what you need to do to keep the curls and avoid the frizziness.

    • @islaaa._22
      @islaaa._22 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have curly hair and I don't brush it in the morning I tend to braid it before bed then when I take it out I just comb the top part and tuck the frizzy parts under if you know what I mean. I only brush it before a shower (since I have ti wash my hair every night) hope this helps

    • @cbryce9243
      @cbryce9243 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wow, that's long hair! Lucky you! I was so stressed at the beginning of covid, I shaved my head. But didn't do it again and is now resting on my shoulders. I wish I had not shaved it, but oh well, right?
      Brushing seems like it would frizz. I'd just use a product for curly hair and use a wide tooth comb or your fingers. You should do a video! TH-cam is so fun to watch and get idea and solutions from.
