Hello, after watching your video I purchased the Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling cream (available in England thankfully) to use with my Kitsch Flexi Rod Rollers. I tried the cream & the Mending infusion yesterday. Thank you so much for your recommendations of these products. My curls are soft & not crunchy and are long lasting. Thank you again Linda
@@wlfie950 Hi, Damp hair is another way to use these rods but different hair textures respond differently and it may cause more frizz (especially when you’re using the air dry method) When I leave my hair damp with these I get much more frizz in my hair if I am allowing it to air dry Damp hair also is finicky because you have to make sure to put it in 90-95% dry or else it won’t dry properly. Hope it works well for you!
Hi! Yes that’s another way and the curls turn out different than when you wrap them this way. This style gives you more of a ringlet curl/wavier style and more uniform curls as well 😊
I bought them, but they are only for people with extra long&thick hair.. they simply roll out of my hair, I use clips and bows, nothing makes them stay in place :( Styling creme I bought as well, it is really good, thanks for that recommendation!
Unfortunately they’re not soft and squishy 😢 they are exactly as described on the site “satin wrapped flexi rods” not sure if you’re familiar with how the original rods feel like!
Hi 👋🏼 Yes, I have tried this with very likely damp pair is 90% dry. It produces a fuller effect but with more frizz I have noticed better results on dry hair using a serum such as Ola Plex nine or any other serum/cream. I have been using heatless hair methods sense 2009 so it has allowed me to play with different tricks and methods. Hope this helps 😊
@@tiffxxsdwhat does the serum help with? My hair doesn’t hold a curl well with heated wands. Do you recommend I use a mousse before putting in the satin rods??
@@TLKK2020 hi so the olaplex serum or any “hold” cream helps make your hair a little wet but adds moisture to reduce frizz and dryness. If your hair does not hold a curl well I would recommend either using a curl cream to get it barelyyy damp or a mousse like you said. Hope this helps 😊
I could not figure this out. TikTok was too fast so I had to go to TH-cam.
Great video! Kitsch needs to collab with you lol. This was so helpful

I’m glad it worked out for you!
Thank you so much! Sitting here watching the video with a ton of hair clips in my hair. I’ll definitely be trying this technique!
It definitely helps them stay in and makes the process easier! 😅😊
Damp hair will give you the best lasting results. I just ordered some, cant wait to use these while i blow dry my hair. Hope it works

Really pretty. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this straightforward video on how to do these curls! I just bought some today and going to try it later❤ xD
Thank you for this video!
Gorgeous!
You could also just wrap the ends and then roll up the flexi rods😇 that’s how your supposed to use them
However I love the way your turned out so I might try this way too !

ouuu wee this is a nice video!!! keep up the good work
Your hair is gorgeous
Your hair is gorgeous! I was wondering if the rods are soft & squishy? If not I can’t imagine they were comfortable to sleep on? ♥️

Whoa... That looks.. Goood!
Have you ever tried this with wet hair?

Fast forward to 3 mins…
I can’t pay attention to you because the TV is distracting me in the background.
Okay thanks for the comment!
@@tiffxxsd 😂You handled that comment much better than I would have! I paid attention to you and your video was very helpful!
You got attention span problems.
