All the puppies I've had (and they were a lot) transitioned from mothers milk to tasting some supermarket milk and once they liked it we added some kibble in there and waited untill it was soft so they would eat it. Then, after some weeks we would give the puppy some of that and some hard kibble in the mix so that they would get used to chewing hard kibble. Then we would give them the kibble and the milk without any waiting for the kibble to rehydrate and then we would start adding an egg to the food and removing the milk. All of our dogs were healthy as no other. And then we got into mixing raw with kibble on the weekends for them, they love it

At first we were told by the vet to feed are dog very small amounts of food drizzled in this stuff (idk what it was, are dog came from a accidental backyard breeding and we didn’t know so the puppy wasn’t that healthy).
When i was a baby my mother used to feed me cerelac. Our dog used to sit and wait for me to say no When I wouldn't eat it. After that my mother would give him my cerelac and he would finish it in 5 seconds
Let kibble soak for atleast 20 minutes. That's when it gets soft. Always buy a weight scale and measure the food you give your dog. A spoon can never be a right tool..

yeah, most kibble is actually dehydrated
