I found a cat in a similar condition. Our vet said “I’ll fix her for free, if you promise me to take good care of her for the rest of her life”. He tried orthopedic surgery on her broken leg, but had to amputate it in the end due to infection. But she’s been my best friend for the last 6 years … Big shoutout to veterinarians with a big heart! 👍
You're so lucky to have a vet like that. I got a cat recently and I'm hoping to find a vet as kind hearted as that. In the past, some vets I've had just seemed to be in it for the money.
@@deltatango5765you shouldn’t stigmatise vets like that. They had to pay for their education and are just as skilled and qualified as human doctors, and yet they get so much less respect! How are they supposed to afford to run a practice if they do freebies and discounts to everyone? Vets deserve their income just as much as Doctors do. The tests, equipment and running costs are the same, if not more than any medical practice so If you can’t afford to pay for your pets healthcare, you shouldn’t own one or expect your vet to give you free treatment. There is pet insurance you can take out as a back up for your pet also.

Had found a cat in front of my house, too weak to even run away when I said "Shoo", so I decided that if she stays there until I come back from the grocery store, I'll keep her. Today, it has been 4 years 3 months and 19 days since she is with me
Thank You for helping this poor unfortunate cat . I have taken in and cared for over 15 stray cats over a period of years. All but three have passed away from old age. I loved and miss every one of them very much as they were truly my friends.
That got to me as well. It made me think of my own cat, who had to be put to sleep, but even on the way to the vet she found the strength to crawl out of her box and onto my lap. People who aren't cat people often don't realize just how social these creatures can be. I'm glad this video had a happier ending :)
The first time I fell in love with cats is when I came home after dinner, after I parked my car, I heard very loud cry for help coming from the tall bushes beside the road. It was already dark, I had to turn on the flashlight and follow the sound to find them, i found 2 kittens who couldn’t even walk properly because they were covered in red ants biting all over their skin, i searched around but couldn’t find their mother. I had to think quick so I took them home and called for help from my family. None of us were familiar in taking care of kittens back then, and all the vets are closed at night so we used tweezers to pluck the red ants out one by one, and they were meowing so loud it pains my heart. I couldn’t sleep the whole night observing their condition until I took them to the vets. Unfortunately, one of them fought hard but couldn’t survive after staying a week in the hospital. Good news is, the other cat survived and have been staying by my side for 6 years now :) it made me a cat person, now I have a total of 5 cats in my house that were all picked up from the streets
You saved this poor little cat from a very painful death. I am so greatful you saved him with the love and care he loved. May he live a beautiful life.

I also rescued an orange tabby he was 5 days old and at about 9 months old (I think.) He had fallen from my balcony, and it cost me a lot of money to fix his broken leg, 5 ins and a plate, I do not regret it at all. He is now my fur buddy and I love him sooooo much. He is now 2 years and 6 months old.

I had the same thing with a duck. His wing was very damaged and he couldn't walk. We sent him to the doctor and now he is safe. Every week he visits our house to say hello.

I hate to say it but that could also be a dog attack. I've seen this kind of injury before and that cat wasn't as lucky. It still pains me to this day.
@@3mc0567 It happened to my own cat. Her name was Silver because of her unusual color compared to her siblings. We had too many so we had to give them away and she was the first gone. She got hurt quite a bit before she left so that didn't help out case. We gave her to my mom's best friend and only one week later, she passed. She wasn't even a year old yet

Obviously everyone involved was necessary, God Bless every one of them, & a lot of it was much more entailed than just "love & compassion". Эх, это видео напомнило мне мою кошечку..Я ее примерно в таком же состоянии нашла, она уже ни ходить не могла, ни есть, ни пить. Весила килограмм, скелет без мышц, облепленная сотнями блох. Абсолютно серая пасть, гемоглобин 12, в клинике сказали, мало шансов, что ночь переживет, но назначения сделали. Сначала капельницами и уколами через каждые 2.5 часа, потом понемногу из шприца вытянула. 7 лет со мной прожила, лучше и благодарней кошки я не встречала. После ее смерти года 2 не могла в себя придти и смириться с тем, что не получилось её ещё раз спасти. Онкология и почечная недостаточность в терминальной стадии. Я даже не знаю, сколько ей лет было, когда её нашла, но больше 5 врачи сказали. Когда нашла, она сидела сгорбившись, не оборачиваясь на собак, с которыми я гуляла. Я позвала, она обернулась, мявкнула и отвернулась. Я собак привязала, подошла, погладила, а там хребет в два пальца шириной. И ведь недели две и мимо гуляла с собаками, кошку видела и удивлялась, чего она делает на этом пустыре за домом у тропинки, где собачников ходят, как-будто кого-то ждёт на одном месте, но она довольно бодро упрыгивала при виде собак до того дня. Поэтому я просто не могла допустить, чтобы она погибла, после того, как я столько времени мимо ходила, когда она так нуждалась в помощи, в еде и воде. Очень хотелось узнать ее судьбу, как она там оказалась. Кошка явно домашняя, к улице совершенно не приспособленная, очень ласковая и разговорчивая. Возможно, выпала из окна, но никто не искал..У нее перелом грудины был, но его не обнаружили тогда, только в конце. Может быть выкинули.. Я назвала ее Мурняша, так как она все время говорила "муррня?", подходя и заглядывая в глаза. Первое время вообще не давала мне отойти или уйти, куда-то, так кричать начинала. НЗащищала меня, если собаки подругины ко мне лезли, даже огромной алабаихе по морде давала, хотя если б та к ней лезла, убежала бы. Именно защищала меня. Если кто-то голос повышал на меня, как ей казалось, тоже шла на него, мяукая. Несколько месяцев только горбиком сидела. Но потом отъелась, распушилась, стала калачиком сворачиваться и растягиваться. Спала всегда в обнимку со мной.. Я всегда буду помнить мою Мурняшеньку..
Когда котик был болен, у него даже глазки были тёмные от отчаяния, слабости и боли... Как только стал выздоравливать, открылись красивые зелёные глаза!!! Вы верно заметили!❤️ Когда животному очень больно, у него из-за травмы или другого заболевания сильно расширяются зрачки. Это важный показатель для хозяина, когда с его питомцем что-то не так, и нужно срочно искать причину и помочь питомцу.
Насчёт "братьев меньших",вы явно поторопились,никому не дано "сортировать" создания Вселенной,будь то животинка ,мух или даже человек,именно он возвёл себя на пьедестал,уничтожая всё вокруг,возомнив "старшим и главным"!!Не забывайте,ведь в следущей жизни вы можете вернуться в этот Мир просто жучком,а то и листом берёзы!!

My girl was abandoned by her owner. She wandered into our yard one day, very pregnant and followed my dad into the house, where he gave her food (she was incredibly thin). A short time later, she gave birth to four kittens. We kept one. We never found her owner and she spent the next twenty and a half years with me, never leaving our yard. I had to lay her to rest on November 11, 2014. I still miss you, Spongie, and I think of you often.

Одни люди бросают животных на погибель,а другие их спасают. Этому красавчику повезло, он попал в добрые руки, дай Бог, чтобы и другим бездомным также везло! У нас дома тоже живут трое брошенных животных, какие же они замечательные! Здорово, что они у нас есть!) Всём здоровья и тёплого дома!
I doubt it, at least in this case... it's not particularly challenging to find such cats in large cities that are already very sick or got hit by a car and are trying to survive like the cat in this video probably was, and there are plenty of locations around that are considered "popular drop spots" where irresponsible owners leave their animals and drive away because they were either gifted the animal or bought it from some pet store thinking "oh how cute" but then didn't have the guts to take care of the animal, and so on... so I doubt they would go to this length over a few views on TH-cam, it's easier to just find one in rough shape. However, that doesn't discount the fact that some people really do use animals for views and really do make them suffer to get such reactions... but in this case the cat looked very social and open to human contact, it didn't claw or bite, so I assume it wasn't abused by people but rather was either feral and got hit by a car/etc, or was abandoned/ran away and ended up in this state of being after a while @@Ch3BuraShka5

@nthgth The injuries of the cat are baffling to me, and the treatment as well. In the first x ray image the leg bone is broken in two spots, at the opposite ends of the bone, and the hip is completely dislocated, plus the bones of the ankle are broken. I can't think of an injury that would cause damage like that. Falling down from a tree or hit by car maybe like you said, but then you'd imagine the damage was in multiple legs rather than just one And then there's the treatment. The entire leg seems to be fixed with a plate and the hip relocated. I'm not a veterinarian but I know a lot about human physiology. If a human received an injury like that, where the head of the femur was fractured and dislocated, a plate like that wouldn't suffice because the blood vessels to the head would be gone killing circulation. It would require a hip replacement. Now humans aren't cats and maybe cats' hips are built differently, but I wonder if they really treated the cat right

My sweet baby was so covered in fleas you couldn’t see his precious little face and he was starving. Just laying there crying so hard. He’s a big boy now and my little angel from heaven. Thank You for helping this poor unfortunate cat . I have taken in and cared for over 15 stray cats over a period of years. All but three have passed away from old age. I loved and miss every one of them very much as they were truly my friends.

That got to me as well. It made me think of my own cat, who had to be put to sleep, but even on the way to the vet she found the strength to crawl out of her box and onto my lap. People who aren't cat people often don't realize just how social these creatures can be.

The first time I fell in love with cats is when I came home after dinner, after I parked my car, I heard very loud cry for help coming from the tall bushes beside the road. It was already dark, I had to turn on the flashlight and follow the sound to find them, i found 2 kittens who couldn’t even walk properly because they were covered in red ants biting all over their skin, i searched around but couldn’t find their mother. I had to think quick so I took them home and called for help from my family. None of us were familiar in taking care of kittens back then, and all the vets are closed at night so we used tweezers to pluck the red ants out one by one, and they were meowing so loud it pains my heart. I couldn’t sleep the whole night observing their condition until I took them to the vets. Unfortunately, one of them fought hard but couldn’t survive after staying a week in the hospital. Good news is, the other cat survived and have been staying by my side for 6 years now :) it made me a cat person, now I have a total of 5 cats in my house that were all picked up from the streets

I also rescued an orange tabby he was 5 days old and at about 9 months old (I think.) He had fallen from my balcony, and it cost me a lot of money to fix his broken leg, 5 ins and a plate, I do not regret it at all. He is now my fur buddy and I love him sooooo much. He is now 2 years and 6 months old.

I had the same thing with a duck. His wing was very damaged and he couldn't walk. We sent him to the doctor and now he is safe. Every week he visits our house to say hello.

@@3mc0567 It happened to my own cat. Her name was Silver because of her unusual color compared to her siblings. We had too many so we had to give them away and she was the first gone. She got hurt quite a bit before she left so that didn't help out case. We gave her to my mom's best friend and only one week later, she passed. She wasn't even a year old yet

Obviously everyone involved was necessary, God Bless every one of them, & a lot of it was much more entailed than just "love & compassion". I'm only speaking to just that initial call to not walk by, or ignore a suffering animal. That once that gesture of caring is shown, how we can affect those around us. It starts with that.

Эх, это видео напомнило мне мою кошечку..Я ее примерно в таком же состоянии нашла, она уже ни ходить не могла, ни есть, ни пить. Весила килограмм, скелет без мышц, облепленная сотнями блох. Абсолютно серая пасть, гемоглобин 12, в клинике сказали, мало шансов, что ночь переживет, но назначения сделали. Сначала капельницами и уколами через каждые 2.5 часа, потом понемногу из шприца вытянула. 7 лет со мной прожила, лучше и благодарней кошки я не встречала. После ее смерти года 2 не могла в себя придти и смириться с тем, что не получилось её ещё раз спасти. Онкология и почечная недостаточность в терминальной стадии. Я даже не знаю, сколько ей лет было, когда её нашла, но больше 5 врачи сказали.
Когда нашла, она сидела сгорбившись, не оборачиваясь на собак, с которыми я гуляла. Я позвала, она обернулась, мявкнула и отвернулась. Я собак привязала, подошла, погладила, а там хребет в два пальца шириной. И ведь недели две и мимо гуляла с собаками, кошку видела и удивлялась, чего она делает на этом пустыре за домом у тропинки, где собачников ходят, как-будто кого-то ждёт на одном месте, но она довольно бодро упрыгивала при виде собак до того дня.
Поэтому я просто не могла допустить, чтобы она погибла, после того, как я столько времени мимо ходила, когда она так нуждалась в помощи, в еде и воде.
Очень хотелось узнать ее судьбу, как она там оказалась. Кошка явно домашняя, к улице совершенно не приспособленная, очень ласковая и разговорчивая. Возможно, выпала из окна, но никто не искал..У нее перелом грудины был, но его не обнаружили тогда, только в конце. Может быть выкинули.. Я назвала ее Мурняша, так как она все время говорила "муррня?", подходя и заглядывая в глаза. Первое время вообще не давала мне отойти или уйти, куда-то, так кричать начинала. НЗащищала меня, если собаки подругины ко мне лезли, даже огромной алабаихе по морде давала, хотя если б та к ней лезла, убежала бы. Именно защищала меня. Если кто-то голос повышал на меня, как ей казалось, тоже шла на него, мяукая. Несколько месяцев только горбиком сидела. Но потом отъелась, распушилась, стала калачиком сворачиваться и растягиваться. Спала всегда в обнимку со мной..
Я всегда буду помнить мою Мурняшеньку..

я своего не спасла - 15 тыс долларов на операцию - порвали койоты животик . а все эти уходы рентгены - стоят бешенных денег - кто им все это делает? а принесешь - тебе такую сумму выставят что унесешь обратно

What a beautiful kitty! Thank you! ❤️ My rescue girl was found in February, trying to lick up frozen garbage by a dumpster. She was 4 months old. We've now had nearly 10 1/2 happy years together.
My girl was abandoned by her owner. She wandered into our yard one day, very pregnant and followed my dad into the house, where he gave her food (she was incredibly thin). A short time later, she gave birth to four kittens. We kept one. We never found her owner and she spent the next twenty and a half years with me, never leaving our yard. I had to lay her to rest on November 11, 2014. I still miss you, Spongie, and I think of you often.
I'm so happy there are still people in this world willing to help a defenseless animal like this.

Одни люди бросают животных на погибель,а другие их спасают. Этому красавчику повезло, он попал в добрые руки, дай Бог, чтобы и другим бездомным также везло! У нас дома тоже живут трое брошенных животных, какие же они замечательные! Здорово, что они у нас есть!) Всём здоровья и тёплого дома!

I doubt it, at least in this case... it's not particularly challenging to find such cats in large cities that are already very sick or got hit by a car and are trying to survive like the cat in this video probably was, and there are plenty of locations around that are considered "popular drop spots" where irresponsible owners leave their animals and drive away because they were either gifted the animal or bought it from some pet store thinking "oh how cute" but then didn't have the guts to take care of the animal, and so on... so I doubt they would go to this length over a few views on TH-cam, it's easier to just find one in rough shape. However, that doesn't discount the fact that some people really do use animals for views and really do make them suffer to get such reactions... but in this case the cat looked very social and open to human contact, it didn't claw or bite, so I assume it wasn't abused by people but rather was either feral and got hit by a car/etc, or was abandoned/ran away and ended up in this state of being after a while @@Ch3BuraShka5

@nthgth The injuries of the cat are baffling to me, and the treatment as well.
In the first x ray image the leg bone is broken in two spots, at the opposite ends of the bone, and the hip is completely dislocated, plus the bones of the ankle are broken. I can't think of an injury that would cause damage like that. Falling down from a tree or hit by car maybe like you said, but then you'd imagine the damage was in multiple legs rather than just one
And then there's the treatment. The entire leg seems to be fixed with a plate and the hip relocated. I'm not a veterinarian but I know a lot about human physiology. If a human received an injury like that, where the head of the femur was fractured and dislocated, a plate like that wouldn't suffice because the blood vessels to the head would be gone killing circulation. It would require a hip replacement. Now humans aren't cats and maybe cats' hips are built differently, but I wonder if they really treated the cat right

Мне 33 года и я тож всплакнул чучуть 😢 Сразу позвал к себе своего кота и минут 20 просто был с ним. После такого видео я вспомнил как люблю своего котика!! А то за ежедневным бытом просто забываешь и воспринимаешь как должное.

My sweet baby was so covered in fleas you couldn’t see his precious little face and he was starving. Just laying there crying so hard. He’s a big boy now and my little angel from heaven.
