To me GTS sounds the best in terms of replicating the car. It's just not as loud followed by Fh4 which nails the loudness but in terms of just how the car sounds GTS is a step above it especially in the cockpit view..... And then there's Fh7 which idk what the hell that was.

To be honest, by personal preference, FM7 sounds the best to me. It's the loudest, most aggressive, most raw-sounding out of the three. Sadly, it just also happens to be the most inaccurate which objectively makes it the worst of the three.

Fm7 makes it feel more like a single clutch, gran turismo has more detail, and fh4 sounds more accurate.
The shifting in FM7 is just perfect but it revs too high, GTS sounds best from the inside and FH4 sounds best from the outside.
FH4 sounds pretty dull to me. IDK if it's the most accurate one but I like the FM7 version best, it seems to have the most "umpf" if that makes any sense.

@@yg.mathieu hmm no, the physics in gt sport are weird, the camera doesn't move( it doesn't shakes), the tires's smoke is practically invisible, you're at 200km/h but it looks like you're at 80, if you crash the car it doesn't knead. It has a lot of things that makes it more less than real life

Forza Horizon 4 sounds the best comparing to real life, GT Sport sounds a bit softer and Forza Motorsport 7 doesn't sound like a Lamborgini V12 at high revs, only below ~5000 rpm

I didn't not like the sound in Forza 7 and it looks ok in FH4 the thing is that when you downgear, your exhaust will flame up which is unrealistic

No, the general consensus is that FH4 is the best overall, not that it’s good or perfect. GTS seems to fall behind, and fm7 is the worst with its only redeeming quality being the shifts which apparently sound accurate enough.

FH4 has the same sound file as FH3, probably the most accurate one (surprisingly since FH4 seems to suck ass at sounds), GT Sport is a contender to the FH4 sound, but feels a bit quieter and less aggressive. FM7... don’t really like it, especially since this is for an Aventador out of all cars, but hey, it’s better than the “crying puppy falling into terminal velocity into an active volcano” sound that Forza gave it. So, to break it down:
1. Forza Horizon 4
2. Gran Turismo Sport
3. Forza Motorsport 7

@@Texas_Road_Warrior i think it lacks something inside causing it's not agressive at all, i like the note pitch tbh but something is wrong inside the engine like this was recorded from a 1998 viper which could have make sense only for the 1998 ones but it got annoying because they copied it into the entire viper lineup, they shall have used FH2/3 sound instead
I enjoy the gt sport one but the forza horizon 4 is very good too forza 7 is waaay too high pitch
Forza 7 is trying to mimic the echo of the car engine sounds which is realistic to a curtain degree because a open race track echos a lot more than the street like in forza horizon 4 but in my opinion forza 7 should tone down the echo of the engine and the volume of the engine and the engine note should be more clearer
FM7 feels more like a real car to me. FH4 feels phoned in. Especially in cockpit view ( the looping low end drone is awful). GTS isn't too far off, but def needs more work.
fh4 with the single clutch shift style from fm7 it could be the best sounding aventador in any racing game in the world
You know what's wrong with FH4 and FM7? Check the dash, how the gears are presented.

Man GT always makes it look like a remote controlled car is driving on a road designed treadmill not a real car driving on an actual road or track.
And it sucks coz I grew up as such a GT fan. But those far camera angles make the game look stiff af and when I drive some of these real cars irl, they don't feel anything like what I drive in GT.
You can clearly see that when the Aventadors move in FM7 & especially FH4 they respond to the momentum of the car, bumps in the road, down-force and swings in momentum etc, whereas in GTS the Aventador is almost completely stiff. And irl, the car sure as hell isn't that stiff. People ofthen confuse under-steer to mean stiff game play when it comes to GT which is incorrect and which you'd know if you've ever driven real cars.
But GT's auto vista and photo graphics are unmatched and their cockpit view looks much more accurate than their 3rd person view as there's actual vehicle response like in the Forzas. Just wish they'd finally spend more time on the gameplay coz Forza has been beating it out for over a decade now as far as which is closer to real life driving. And I find that sad because I don't even like Xbox and GT had always been the pinnacle of realistic racing back when there was far less competition. I hope one day they will evolve their game play graphics and game play to match their display graphics.

Finally, someone that admits it, GT Sport makes all the cars look stupid stiff. Feels like all the cars have one-dimensional physics or are running the same suspension model. No life to them in any way. It's funny they call their game "The real driving simulator" when in fact nothing looks real.

@@D_LGND So I've spent a lot of time playing around with the camera settings of GT Sport including sensitivity, distance etc. Still the only cam that resembles any realism is dash cam as it sits on it's axes but moves in accordance to the movement of the vehicle. All the 3rd person cams make GT S feel ultra arcade. They need to fix this coz they've done so well in many other areas.
Looking at GT 7 it doesn't look like it'll be
much different based on current footage. Best bet is still dash cam

Gt sport wipes them both out of the way, especially since the sounds in GT6 were disappointing, they have made an absolutely incredible come back with GT sport, forza 4 has a nice sound but the shifting is off, and fm7 sound shouldn’t even exist..
Sydney Carspots Forza sounds more realistic on the outside but cockpit Gt is better. And man just because the sounds are different doesn’t mean the games aren’t fun. Forza has the best balance between simulation and having fun

Let’s be honest. None of them sound like one. Fh4 is close but that’s because it sounds more like a Lamborghini hurricane (don’t know how to spell it) gran torismo kind of sounds the same as fh4 but quieter. And fm7 is trying to make it sound very aggressive.
I think the gear change in Grand Trismo sounds better.

the problem in this video and all videos that compare forza with gt is that forza horizon is not comparable with gt, fh is a arcade game you can't compare it with a simulation game, the real comparison is forza motorsport vs gt sport, but don't put fh into this

I think the issue is FH4 looks better than both FM7 & GTS graphically from 3rd person view and when you put FH4 on Simulation settings, it's close enough to driving the real car that it is actually comparable. And yes you can also compare engine sounds.
GT is not a simulator, it's a hybrid between arcade and simulation. FH4 is more arcadey than GT, that's for sure. A real racing simulator would be something like iRacing, Assetto Corsa series, PC2, Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0. GT is one of those games where there is very little learning curve and it's very easy to learn but hard to master. However, the ones l mentioned before are insanely difficult to learn and are not for everybody.

Mr Personne why don’t all of you. Forza Horizon 4’s Aventador V12 almost sounds right, but compare it to Horizon 2, and you’ll see just how bad it really sounds. At least FM7 made the effort to update the sound, though I never said it sounded pretty. It sounds way too distorted. GT Sport managed to accurately present the sound.

Ty Wild327 if you do an engine upgrade you get the generic sound of the liter engine you put in it. I keep stock engine most of the time because that is unique to the car.
