Australia's Best Croissant and Sunday BBQ Seafood Brunch Buffet | Grand Hyatt's Living Grand Buffet

- It’s Sunday in Melbourne Australia and I can’t think of anything better than a meal with the family with the cousins and the little ones. I’m really looking forward to it because I heard this is one of the best brunch buffets in Melbourne with not only a spectacular seafood spread but they also specialize in bbq as well… from a 12 hr low and slow bbq brisket to a shattering crisp porchetta.
But before that, a cup of coffee and a croissant to start off the day and what better way to do that than to try Australia’s best, and in my opinion, one of the priciest cafes around. This is Lune’s and I’ve been told they make pastries and croissants like they do in Paris if not better. Is it worth the price tag? I intend to find out.

OMG!!! Zach just cracked me up helping you make room on your dessert plate 🤩. What sweet kids... Mom and Dad raised them well. Also, see there was no potato salad, but boy did those duck fat potatoes make up for it YUM! So glad you were able to spend time with your family...nice to meet them 😊. Lovely buffet...it was so pristine and well kept...loved they covered all the exposed salads and meats from drying out...never seen other fancier buffets do that before 👍...glad you guys enjoyed your meal...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗❤

So nice to see your family. Sweetest and cutest children ever!! Thank you for letting me travel with you. I’m not a fan of seafood but there were so many wonderful other options. The potatoes looked so yummy, along with the mushroom and gnocchi and let’s not forget that amazing dessert bar! 😋

Sweet you getting your little cousin to try the Greek taramasalata. My Greek lady friends would be proud of her. Then almost wiping out the dessert tray with your other little cousin. What fun you all seemed to be having. Mom might have preferred you had a few more veggies, to be a good example. You are definitely the fun Uncle. We were raised to call all older cousins Aunt or Uncle out of respect.
It was very tasty and thank you so much for spelling that out!😃. I suspect their parents weren’t too happy with all the desserts, but the video was used as an excuse to indulge.😉

That’s awesome! The desserts were quite amazing too and in our case, the kids had a blast… The parents on the other hand we weren’t as impressed as they had to finish the desserts left over from the kids😁

Tim, Your Relations are as pleasant as yourself. Pizza looked tasty. I was trying to catch the Name Brand if the wonderful looking sardines. Oysters w caviar tasty tasty. Simply all very fine. Dessert selections nice. Best
The sardines, actually, I think they were anchovies, were delicious… Nice and oily, and lots of flavour. That was a massive can 😋

I think I would have wanted to start with that black forest cake you passed on your way in...and at 0:15 we see that amazing looking crisp porchetta but didn't see you try it... i just want to give who ever was responsible for preparing that porchetta a hug. That was a nice looking spread all around.
That Porchetta Looked amazing and unfortunately, by the time I got back to the Buffet, it was all gone. The brisket was amazing though.

@@girliemesatulipat8507 I had a chance to take mom to Manila many years ago, and we actually stayed at the Fairmont Makati. Very nice. There was a water leak in our room at that time so they moved us to another room, and because of the inconvenience, they gave us access to our lounge during the stay. Unfortunately, we never made use of it because we were always out.

We kind of overdid it… I don’t think the parents were very happy to see how much desserts there were as we spent a lot of time afterwards finishing it up

I'll always say this - and yes have eaten seafood all over the world - Australia has the best seafood in the world. It's expensive as we control our waters around our island/country.

You were suggested to drink the coffee at the crossonts and you forwent the coffee because of the buffet the buffet was not going to run away lol or at least to go if you got the other to go lol

Oh, the seafood buffet was at the conservatory in the crown Melbourne hotel. It’s very nice but I think the one in Sydney is much better called the epicurean.
