It's really funny because this song has such as bouncy beat and theme to it but then the lyrics are vague and hints towards lovers' suicide (apparently, they both jump from a building according to the last piece of lyrics). Project DIVA makes me wonder what meanings are placed into their songs. Still a nice cover, though! :3
There's also the vague undertones of "Being bored to death" and such. Maybe they being "intoxicated" is actually an allegory to the whole world trying to tear the two lovers apart? It can be confirmed the two lovers died due to suicide and also at 3:23 you can see something somewhat akin to an open cabinet with two dolls on it. These "cabinets" are often used as a place of prayer/respect for the deceased used in households that mourn for their family. It also appeared earlier in the MV but only with one doll, so it can be inferred that one of them died earlier than the other, which drove the other to do the "One, two".

So my theory’s gonna be kinda confusing but to me the girls in the song commit suicide in the end, therefore it’s like the “world’s end” as they never see the world’s end for everyone else, so this is how it ends for them. The “dancehall” references that depression can be like a dance. You’re seemingly having fun but in reality your going through a lot of tough times to get to that dance, simply putting on a dance or show so that others can feel like you are happy. The whole idea of the “apocalypse” could possibly come from the fact that even if the world hasn’t end that doesn’t change the fact that it’s screwed up. People constantly hurt others, murder happens and people die young of the sickness. In other words, our world is far from perfect and it’ll never be perfect. So for those with depression it’s like an apocalypse and they can commit suicide to escape that. The fact that that this song seems so optimistic is actually really dark. The girls are actually happy they are leaving, their death is what they’ve wanted. At the end of the day, suicide comes down to your choice and you can stop it, but what is the point if you don’t want to? So yeah so people may think it’s upbeat with a dark them, but it’s just sad in my view, particularly when you think this is actually the reality of the world. Either way this is a great cover, one of the best english covers I’ve heard. Great job!

This song is really hard to sing due to how fast it is and you two nailed it beautifully. The vocals are really sweet and grasp the tune really nicely. I also highly enjoy the harmonies and use of background vocals, they aren't overused or not used enough. I do honestly think I like this cover more than the original. Amazing job you two!

You know there’s three ways I take this song 1. This one is a more happy take instead of the world ending and it being all sad they decide to have fun and do all the stuff they never would get the opportunity to do otherwise 2. So my theory’s gonna be kinda confusing but to me the girls in the song commit suicide in the end, therefore it’s like the “world’s end” as they never see the world’s end for everyone else, so this is how it ends for them. The “dancehall” references that depression can be like a dance. You’re seemingly having fun but in reality your going through a lot of tough times to get to that dance, simply putting on a dance or show so that others can feel like you are happy.
The whole idea of the “apocalypse” could possibly come from the fact that even if the world hasn’t end that doesn’t change the fact that it’s screwed up. People constantly hurt others, murder happens and people die young of the sickness. In other words, our world is far from perfect and it’ll never be perfect. So for those with depression it’s like an apocalypse and they can commit suicide to escape that.
The fact that that this song seems so optimistic is actually really dark. The girls are actually happy they are leaving, their death is what they’ve wanted. At the end of the day, suicide comes down to your choice and you can stop it, but what is the point if you don’t want to?
So yeah so people may think it’s upbeat with a dark them, but it’s just sad in my view, particularly when you think this is actually the reality of the world. Either way this is a great cover, one of the best english covers I’ve heard. Great job!

Funny. I started reading a Davekat fanfiction called World End and this song is the first thing I thought of. Of course, I was laughing and joking, assuming that's not why this person named the fanfiction World End. In the beginning of each chapter there were lyrics.

This song is really hard to sing due to how fast it is and you two nailed it beautifully. The vocals are really sweet and grasp the tune really nicely. I also highly enjoy the harmonies and use of background vocals, they aren't overused or not used enough. I do honestly think I like this cover more than the original. Amazing job you two!

You know there’s three ways I take this song
1. This one is a more happy take instead of the world ending and it being all sad they decide to have fun and do all the stuff they never would get the opportunity to do otherwise
2. It their “world” that’s ending meaning their lives (I take this one as double suicide as neither wanted to die alone) they decide to do all the stuff they want before they end it
3. The saddest take in my opinion this one’s also about suicide but it’s actually two sides to the same girl/guy 1 side doesn’t want to do it and is trying to get the person to do something different up in the rooftop while the other side is pulling for the person to go ahead and jump
Edit: okay so I suppose I should elaborate on the third one one side is not wishing to die and due to this is trying to convince themselves to do anything to cope, bad or good, so keep themselves from offing themselves, the other is just trying to do it and can’t be bothered to try while being convinced that this is “their fate”.
Now I’m almost convinced that there’s a new one now that I listen to this again

This person has been pushed so far by everyone and has decided that they are going to end it all, this is partly so feeling the need to pretend they are fine and every day seeming to repeating itself ( this explaining the line bored to death, and bored to tears, cause nothing new is happening) they’ve tried everything they can possibly think of from drinking to dancing, everything to change this but it all ends the same way. This has resulted in them wanting to remember their last moments in a happy light, at least. So they decide to dance and have fun as their time is ticking away, (explaining the line “our time is running out”) but this also represents the time till someone get there and tries to help and keep her from jumping, but a moment to late (this is where the visuals really get involved) you can see around 2:10 that someone tries to grab the persons hand and keep them from falling, but you can see later the person is ( or at least appears to be) dead at 2:56, then at 3:15 you can see the person falling, now this is me taking what I see and hear very literally so it very well may be false but still it’s a very probable explanation as vocaloid songs after get very dark, also rest in peace *wowaka* ,you shall forever be remembered.
