This video single-handedly elevated my Faust above my mediocrity. As I was struggling with one combo, I found something additional. If you hit anit-air only with 6H you can follow-up this way: 6H(aa) > 214K PRC > cS jc.9 j.S, j.H > 5K jc.8 j.S, j.H (wall splat) > 6H An alternative combo to the anti-air 5K, 6H is: 5K(aa), 6H > 214K PRC > cS jc.8 j.S, j.H > 5K, 6H > 41236K > 41236K ***if the 41236K at the end is problematic, and depending on the distance, you can do 6H or dash in for a fS***
These Faust videos are amazing I love them please keep them coming they're so good. Maybe a video discussing defensive options as it's hard to deal with unga bunga players on f6-f8 as a new gg player
2:02, 3:05(4), all of them are insane but these 5 are definitely gonna help me. I spent hours learning meaty c.S on Faust but I'm totally using that 2S frame trap technique now.
I use a string like #3 a lot, but I swap out the end 2P with the overhead heavy slash. The distance that gets put between you and your opponent after the three 5Ps is perfect for that overhead heavy slash, and I've managed to catch a bunch of people either crouching or thinking they can hit me back but can't reach me.

Hard to say in a comment. Make sure you lab vs. the go-to problem options. Learn to throw the crossup. Try to superjump out of pressure to escape. Learn how to punish his counter on whiff...

Cant get it on Chipp, dude is literally leaning back, ill keep trying. I have dummy to guard first hit, with CH forced. I just have to say, this is one of the most amazing vids explaining how to play a character. fighting games are often about the information not seen, and most fgc heads dont speak clearly. You gave the string and clearly explained WHY this string, and WHAT ELSE it enforces/leads to. Your ability for basic clarity is a skill most dont have (even if i still didnt understand right away, its just fighting games have so many minute details) my understanding as a fighting gamer increased a lot, even if it'll take me a while to apply the lessons in-game
So i had the dummy on "only guard first hit" and had counter hit settings on "forced". When i tried putting dummy block settings on "all guard" and had a jab on counter-attack settings under "after block" i can get it consistently.

You can option-select j.2K into Bag (block + regular hit) or Mix (counter-hit) using j.2Kxx236P236S. Source: Rooflemonger
Yeah, it's just ridiculously hard to time correctly because hitstop on j2K is so low.

Got to keep them high and delay jH so you recover low. 5K MMM works more easily I think

2D is unsafe. The 2S 5H scalpel needs to be done quickly and is CH only.
