- Greeting ! Today I'll be showing you how to setup Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP for Forza Horizon 4 using Forza EmuWheel !

This method has also been tested on steam version forza horizon 5 and it works perfectly !

For those running into the vjoy device error, make sure you go into Configure VJoy and set the POV setting to "4 Directions" instead of "Continuous".

Try different usb port man. The same happened to my wheel (mine's without force feedback) with proper drivers installed.
ok so a couple of notes, I've been trying to get this working for 2 days now, from what I can gather either its something in Vjoy itself or its something to do with the code when it registers with forza, but when mapping the peddles it registers them as different axis depending on the position ( as expected point x y z each on their respective spectrum) HOWEVER, when mapping these to the emu wheel it seems as though the software cannot determine that it is one control axis, when I launch the game in forza 5 (xpass edition) just mapping the pedals is a nightmare, some tests it will work well with the break and reverse.. still not being able to drive forward. but then in other cases it registers break and throttle but doesn't activate clutch acceleration.. I'm stumped!
Did you installed the custom driver ?
@@chuanjenchang3153 yes installed custom driver, it seems to only work 50% of the time when I tweak settings in the game config. after setting it to auto and then to manual it gives me some drive capability but when i restart the game I have to do the fiddle process all over again.
Can I play need for speed heat from that wheel controller???

Hi. when I press the throttle. It sets the key as [0]Z instead of Y.. I'm having aproblem in the game. it throttles automatically.. and the car isnt moving.. just stuck. I am able to move around, use other buttons and they are working as expected. My car isn't moving. what could be the issue?

It's likely because you didn't set the "POV Hat Switch" setting to "4 Directions" instead of "Continuous" in the "Configure vJoy" step.

My brake pedal seems to be stuck I can move it normally like any other pedal but it always acts like I'm stepping on it. For example, if I bind my horn to the brake pedal it will always honk. Is there any way I can fix this?

I checked both of my throttle and brakes are inverted. But it still doing it
how did you get the game to detect your wheel? mine doesnt show up anywhere in the game but the software recognizes it and it can detect the buttons when I press them.

When I configured the buttons and wanted to click hush I got "error 'joy.reg' not found in registry direstory". Anyone had this problem? Know how to solve it?

if i use xbox 360 controller to map it forza uses the xbox 360 controller instead of the forza emuwheel xabox 360 keys

hey bro i got the same wheel but i dont hawe a controller for rest buttons and when i want to save the settings in forza with wheel its not working it says buttons are missing u know the fix? do i really need controllrr for rest buttons so i can save then the settings?
yeah you need a usb controller to map the extra buttons

@@rivaldofetahi1083 nice, g29 is a really good wheel. Pretty sure you can use the Logitech shifter with the G29 and G923 as well

Awesome video! I'm using the same wheel. Could you please tell me how were you able to set Brake to Rotation Z? Mine is brake+gas on the same Y axis and can't be binded in config. I used split axis in wheel settings but that did not work.
If you're using the same wheel as mine you should have no problem doing that. Did youy install the driver correctly (the custom one) ?

Make sure you mute the controller and run EmuWheel in the background

I didn't have any problem using the same mathod in FH5 , you can try play with the force feedback setting in the game to find the best result for you.

I think it's natively supported on windows 10 so there should be no driver issue but you can try reinstall the driver for the xbox controller.

i got it set up but the throttle and brake arent working
Make sure you're using the right driver for that wheel , the one that includes in the box didn't fully support windows 10
And make sure you check "invert" box for both peddle axis when doing emuwheel setup.

For those owning Forza Horizon 4 on Steam, don't waist your time with this method. It does not work, unfortunately. I've tried many combinations as well with the same results.
