Johnny's beta fighting style are absolutely fantastic, it's a shame that R* has changed those cool moves(but of course, those "martial arts" is too unrealistic for a teenager).
They wanted to make it more realistic

It’s quite possible. Maybe he had some background that allows it. I was doing martial arts in a childhood ,so I think after ~10 years you could do that. Yes,it’s still difficult ,hard trainings. But they could make him such a fighter.

Johnny Vincent is easy to beat, only bots lose for him, i want his beta animations (fun fact: if you put the johnny fighting style super mod v4 or special mod v1.2 on Dishonorable Fight he will use his beta clear move)
Well, if ya lose to Johnny, he does the whole thing where he grinds your face into the ground and spits on you, just saying "Dog.". The one time I lost to him, I didn't even get upset, it was just too cool.

Some of those characters look absolutely horrid and unrealistic, and some of these moves are a bit too over the top, but overall I wish they kept that hoodie uniform. It looks really cool.

The thing is I'm not good at doing combos and johnnys boss fight in the final game was hard enough. But doing it with these moves I probably would have thrown my tv out the window.

None of Jimmy's combo are in the game, the single moves however are, so you can remake them, as deadpoolxyz already did.
I've seen Johnny beta moves used in a video before so not to sure if can get them or not
KiddofNoobs I'll probably check out this combos in the game myself, and put up a video on it later, I'll just do the moves on Russell in freeroam.
Those johnny combos are fucking sick, those player animations look really well animated and i wish i knew how to mod to possibly put them back in or recreate them.

I don’t know why, but I would like to see another bully-ish type of game by rockstar with the same type of bouncy animation style and flashy/exaggerated character designs we just seen in this video, and those types of move sets we saw for those beta character will give the game more personality.

tbh in my opinion, these animations and combos are better than the finished ones in the actual game today
the original light 5 hit combos and charged attacks looked freaking badass, idk why rockstar wouldn't use these animations instead.

SuperMech64 that's tae kwon do he's using. Big difference. Tae kwon do is 75 percent feet 25 percent hands. It could also be viewed as a rival style to the preps. Preps box- using mostly their hands and the occasional kick (some mention they know jiujitsu, which would explain why some can't be grabbed like Biff).

@@Ihavenousernameidea only chad and bryce use kicks and bryce says that he's trained kickboxing boxing mixed with kicks are usually called kickboxing. for the jiu-jitsu part, i think they say that to fake-brag or to intimidate their opponent or both

Sleeping dogs actually has jimmys beta moves:0 punch =uppercut 1 punch =same legsweep 2 =same gut kick 3 punch= kinda different roundhouse kick if you do four punches then then hold the attack button he Jackie does the inverted version of Johnnys clear move he also has the beta 5 five hit combo
These are better than the final game! And a lot smoother

Johnny is a boss, he should have been much stronger and harder to beat. There is that one scene in the game, where he's about to smash Jimmy, but the police interrupts. Johnny just punches Jimmy extremely hard, so Jimmy falls to the ground, as if Johnny is super strong. Hope he will be like Russel strength in Bully 2.
Well, strong like Russell is a bit over the edge (Since Russell is the only strong russell and will forever be the only one), but yeah, Johnny's fight should've been much harder.
Fluffy Bunnies I know Russell is just stronger, pure brute force, but he's also dumb, and johnny is smart. Therefore it would be awesome if Johnny was the strongest character/hardest to beat
I really don't like Jimmy as a player character he's so tiny so small and the people he fights are said to be much much more powerful. Russel lifts a fully grown man with one hand and Darby Bif are trained boxers. Johnny is a one dangerous Street fighter who's pretty tall. How did he beat them? Size does matter. I hope in bully 2 we play as a taller kid.

Russell should have used the chokeslam or rock bottom as a special, and jimmy could have reversed it into his own.

I would also like to address that, in my game, Russell doesn’t do the special grapple move when I play “Russell In The Hole”. Instead, he just sits on me and I have to kick him off.
I love those nerd moves. They so should have been left in. Would have made combat way more interesting with them rather than their repetitive punches.
Some reason i do prefer beta russel i do not know why maybe because im more into stylised games and art work maybe the more unrealistic cartoony version for this game appeals too me more.

The kicks are really exaggerated. It was logical that they didn't add it to the game. Nobody should expect a boarding school kid to kick like a kung fu master. Of course, he can become a good fighter by taking a lot of martial training (I personally go to martial training myself). But the name of this game is already bully. When we say bullies, we all think of people who oppress people and attack them with their fists in a tactless way during a fight. Have you seen a bully who is a master of kung fu, kicking in general?

Im so glad some of these beta skins got cut. They found a good mix of cartoon and realistic styles in the release version.
I really feel like they scrapped most of these animations because it would look like every single person would have been a UFC fighter which seems highly unlikely. The animations look very cool and realistic though and are used in actual martial arts. The 2-hit+power move combo Jimmy uses is just a jab,cross, outside leg kick which is a very commonly used and effective Muay Thai combination. The greaser seems to use some sort of Tae Kwon Do, presumably Olympic considering he never punches in the clips, but considering they are very much just rebels I wouldn't see them going to Karate class at all, never mind everyone doing so.
Also you can see russels beta character in one of the comic strips at the loading screen

Ei tio swag nao esqueca que na BETA do bully o dormitorio masculino tambem teria um banheiro e que na missao "the gym is burning" aparece um aluno beta na cutscene pelas minhas infinitas teorias eu penso que o cemiterio teria mais importancia no jogo quem sabe algum personagem morrer no decorrer da historia

I think Russell's power bomb is still in the game, if you jump while he catches you, he will grab you power bomb style, and you can reversal him.
