Daggerwin - maybe you should invest in some traffic control vehicles - either police or pickups with beacons - you could use them to close off roads when you're moving the oversized equipment! Then you wouldn't need to turn off traffic.
I liked some of the aspects of FS17, including the stores that carried the fertilizer in bulk, or seeds, so you could fill a spreader, or a drill somewhere else other then the store, or using bulk bags.
Hey you should really swap that agroliner trailer for the Wilson grain trailer pack cause we pretty much strictly use gravity dump trailers in the US. Its kinda rare to not see a gravity dump trailer on an American farm.
Dagger, i live on a farm myself, using the seeding equipment you have for this episode, it is actually quite generic size wise, that using the 747 with the seedhawk is fairly standard within the Wheatbelt of Australia! Yeah it's quite big for a map in FS 17 but it is actually of fairly standard size for a real life example...
I really enjoyed this video as it shows quite a bit of what can be done with the expansion packs. I have just gotten started with FarmSim 2017 and am going through some of the tutorials. I have not had it long. Still learning. Thank you
Hey man :) the largest seeder in the world is build on a farm in Austrailia. It is 60meter wide and powered by a custombuild double johndeere. The field it is made for is 50 000 ha. Yes 50 000! Takes more than 3 hours to go from one side to the other :)
dagger love your vids I watch everyday wanted to tell u if u did not know u can plow and cultivate any of the grass fields on American outback map and plant them to whatever crop u want they will also show up on the map with the fertilized growth stage's tks keep up the good work!!
the best part about the large seeding setup, you can actually use the little air cart in front of the seeder for even more insanity......ALSO with Keyboard, people underestimate how easy it is, it requires more tapping to make small turns, but i play Truck sim and farm sim with keyboard (because i cant afford an actual wheel setup)
The follow me mod is very usefull when harvesting big grain fields i just realised. Stick a worker on the combine, put follow me on the baler, saves a lot of time! Also, in fs15 a friend and i had a massive corn header. It was so large a lorry could not drive under the auger whilst harvesting. This was a problem as the combine could do 30km/h whilst harvesting so the combine was full before the lorry was up to speed again for the last empty
It's true. Response time is quicker. I used to work with a groundsman who had a light dolly trailer which was used with a little red Fergie. I used to have to put it away at night and I picked up the tow bar and used it to push the truck backwards moving it left and right to steer it. Why most tractors and weights have tow hitches on the front of them. Also have a look at a truck which has a dolly trailer. you'll see that there is always a tow hitch on the front of the truck to push/reverse it in tight places. More manouverable.
Fully fertilized field 7 or 8 will yield more wheat/barley than will fit in the silo's at the farm (100k capacity) I plowed 7 & 8 together in my save game and the large field yields 330,000L of Barley. So just field 7 will probably yield about 140,000L so you will either have to sell some at whatever price is current or expand the farm with a silo upgrade to store a full harvest.
That is crazy I just looked at how many subs you have now and I can remember your 10 k special when i think u did a setup vid now your on 250k keep up the amazing vids
The Big Bud DLC would fit and look great on the Missouri River Bottoms map. The map is a x4 size with gigantic fields spread across the map, some fields will make the Big Bud and it's implements look small
Daggerwin, you don't need to cultivate with this planter. You also don't ever need to cultivate after plowing. Real life farmers work the soil as little as possible so as not to lose top soil in the wind and erosion. Cultivating just adds more time and expense when it's not needed for the planter (seeder).
Nah, zell's has a 214' air seeder lol now back to the game play, i recommend getting the manure mod, helps a lot once you're up and going, as for ingame stuff, I vote for ditching the metalfach trailer and getting the farmtech trailer that isn't dolly wheeled, and also buying a loader for the little case tractor
I saw a Massey Ferguson compact tractor dealer the other day. Yard full of them. I live in the Midwest. Masseys definitely exist here in good ol Murica.
Hi. Daggerwin. So the seedhawk and the th1400 shows you can seed corn and sunflower but when you go to select seed it doesn't let you. Am I doing something wrong?
probably why people say they prefer the sound of the 450 Big Bud is because it's quieter....just a Cummins diesel...like a lot of trucks have in them...the 747 has a Detroit Diesel 16 cylinder, 2 cycle engine with w turbochargers and 2 superchargers....not to mention the fact that a Detroit engine is just loud as hell as well...something I think Europeans aren't used to. haha and what I do as far as loading that huge seeder is just place tanks throughout the map so I'm always near one so I just take it there and fill it
Hello. I'm having problems with the TH1400 additional tank. if I use a tipper with the grain door it will not fill that grey tank with seed or fertiliser can you help because I'm thinking it may be a glitch
Hey dagger I'm not sure if that is the biggest in the world. I know that there are some 84ft around where I live and I believe that somewhere in the states or Australia there is a 120ft seeder! Now I don't know if it's just a fake but it does look like it! It's has two of those grain tanks behind it!
I think the only significant advantage that the Case combine has over the Massey Fergueson is that it has a much longer auger to unload so it's easier to unload on the go
Have you ever tried this in VR? it's so much more intense if you can call farming intense :D but it's so awesome in VR. Wish they would make FS19 supporting VR.
I agree with some of you that the American outback is a bad place to have this but I like having an American map. But I think their is a better place to have it because how can you grow anything in the desert
Daggerwin it's nice to see the MF combine. But a cat lexion would be great and more appropriate and different for other lets plays It may be worth looking for
bam t there is one map I watched someone do a massive harvest... why are we left out, like Korea gets more attention then us because of their "nukes" they say they have. hope that was what your looking for mate
swivel steer trailers are easier to back by hooking to the front of your tractor..not applicable to all situations but just drop turn around re-hook back like a pro.
everytime I'm reminded about this game I end up only watching this for a month, stupid game taking up all my time! Edit: also on a side note I believe in the US the government pays a the difference if the cost of certain crops (like corn) when they drop below a minimum price to encourage farms to keep producing because you can end up with issues where the price goes too high where people refrain from buying the crop, causing lots of rotting and unused crops, leading to farms have economic issues Don't quote me on this, if anyone has any idea just uh, comment :)
Dagger I think if you don't want to use fertilizer all the time why don't you use a weeder instead in early stages the use a herbicide later on i believe that the weeder classes as a stage in the fertilizer stages. Also Giants Software have brought out a new American map.
daggerwin a Massey Ferguson will be seen in America, but they rant as a common as case. I still do think that Massey Ferguson is a very good brand in not saying it's bad.
14:20 trailers are ok but physics are just too "light". while you back it up you should be able to feel more weight on the trailer to then it would be easy
on the smaller big bud look under the rim of the top of the cab. at one part I saw break lights when you trying to do the mission there may be turn signals there.
I live in the US in California near the Arizona boarder and good 90% of the combine harvesters are John Deere and the rest are Massy Ferguson's and case but ide say this map looks more like it towards Texas maybe so IDK what they use those areas I just wish they would release Massy auto rowers and some squeeze trucks
I enjoy your FS17 videos, your the only person I've ever known to play the game as if it was happening in real life great vids dude
does anyone else like watching Daggerwin play and play the same game? I do! Comment and like!
Yh i do
Juice I do!
meeeee
Daggerwin - maybe you should invest in some traffic control vehicles - either police or pickups with beacons - you could use them to close off roads when you're moving the oversized equipment! Then you wouldn't need to turn off traffic.
Daggerwin I think GPS would be great on this map 😀😀
Yes same
I liked some of the aspects of FS17, including the stores that carried the fertilizer in bulk, or seeds, so you could fill a spreader, or a drill somewhere else other then the store, or using bulk bags.

Around my area a 10 meter air seeder would be considered big
Brady Sedgwick well and in Germany especially in my region 6 meters are very big 😁
EU farming is nothing compared to US or Australia in guessing
your probably correct
Yes Daggerwin, driving articulated vehicles with KB+M is an absolute pain.
I really enjoyed this video as it shows quite a bit of what can be done with the expansion packs. I have just gotten started with FarmSim 2017 and am going through some of the tutorials. I have not had it long. Still learning.
Thank you
Bro you’re the best content creator ever I love farming simulator vids they are the best
Hey man :) the largest seeder in the world is build on a farm in Austrailia. It is 60meter wide and powered by a custombuild double johndeere. The field it is made for is 50 000 ha. Yes 50 000! Takes more than 3 hours to go from one side to the other :)
i have found out that it is better to transport the seeder in parts instead of together.
Great shots dagger near the end.Like always fantastic video thank you so much
nice vid dagger
dagger love your vids I watch everyday wanted to tell u if u did not know u can plow and cultivate any of the grass fields on American outback map and plant them to whatever crop u want they will also show up on the map with the fertilized growth stage's tks keep up the good work!!
so cool to see all these huge machines in action
the best part about the large seeding setup, you can actually use the little air cart in front of the seeder for even more insanity......ALSO with Keyboard, people underestimate how easy it is, it requires more tapping to make small turns, but i play Truck sim and farm sim with keyboard (because i cant afford an actual wheel setup)
Why no intro Dagger??

A Gleaner combine would have been a good choice for America
Quick Tip: it is much easier to reverse the small trailer if it is attached to the front of the tractor
Just try it and you will see
Michael-John Hayes you can steer more accurate cause it is more near to the stearing axle
I agree with Thomas
It's true. Response time is quicker. I used to work with a groundsman who had a light dolly trailer which was used with a little red Fergie. hi great video didn't know about you until the funky farmer gave you a shout out
Fully fertilized field 7 or 8 will yield more wheat/barley than will fit in the silo's at the farm (100k capacity) I plowed 7 & 8 together in my save game and the large field yields 330,000L of Barley. It’s called an Air drill because of the Air cart on the back. And because it uses compressed air to fire the seed into the ground.
Hi Daggerwin, ALL The severs for farming sim mutliplayer went down yesterday
I have the big bud pack like you and I am your number 1 fan.

Real life farmers work the soil as little as possible so as not to lose top soil in the wind and erosion. Cultivating just adds more time and expense when it's not needed for the planter (seeder).
It depends on the seeder as to whether you need to cultivate.
I think you made a great choice of getting the Massey Ferguson harvester because I love that harvester
Congratulations with 250000 subs
Thank you :)
32:30 I assume that no one has the patience to drive up and down a field for about 5,5 hours.
Janne Kekäläinen no thats just how much time you get to finish it
Still atleast 3 hours of up and down driving
Nah, zell's has a 214' air seeder lol
now back to the game play, i recommend getting the manure mod, helps a lot once you're up and going, as for ingame stuff, I vote for ditching the metalfach trailer and getting the farmtech trailer that isn't dolly wheeled, and also buying a loader for the little case tractor

loving this series so far
I love your vids daggerwin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The "Keyboard Steering" mod of the modhub helps a lot for all keyboard and mouse players out there! :)
can you put machinery away when finshed with it instead of just putting it at side of field as just looks messy and you forget were you put it
Lol, most real farms just leave there stuff out...
tom beacock no smoke no poke i agree Tom ,it is annoying
Jack Clasen not all farmers leave there stuff out in the field some do and some don't
Oh I agree, not all farmers do. Just in my area most of the farmers don't care about leaving it out.
tom beacock no smoke no poke we almost always leave stuff in fields like when we disc we'll leave the tractor and disc there for the 2nd run
Hi. Daggerwin. So the seedhawk and the th1400 shows you can seed corn and sunflower but when you go to select seed it doesn't let you. Am I doing something wrong?
Put concrete in the yard where the big buds are staying
probably why people say they prefer the sound of the 450 Big Bud is because it's quieter....just a Cummins diesel...like a lot of trucks have in them...the 747 has a Detroit Diesel 16 cylinder, 2 cycle engine with w turbochargers and 2 superchargers....not to mention the fact that a Detroit engine is just loud as hell as well...something I think Europeans aren't used to. haha and what I do as far as loading that huge seeder is just place tanks throughout the map so I'm always near one so I just take it there and fill it
Hi dagger I only got to watch yesterdays video this morning because I was in the hospital because I broke my wrist 😭😭but it all right now 😁😁
Jamie Lenehan hope you get better
Hello. I'm having problems with the TH1400 additional tank. if I use a tipper with the grain door it will not fill that grey tank with seed or fertiliser can you help because I'm thinking it may be a glitch
Are the seed growing better When you plow the field or is it just to be realistic?
Hhhhgghuijhh .gyigfuogrrth gives you a better yield when you harvest ! Has to be done every 4th cycle
Are the planter and air cart the wrong way round? logic would say yes as the air cart wheels are driving over the already planted seed.
Daggerwin you don't need the cultivator when you use the Seed Hawk, it's cultivate and seed at the same time
Buy the agroliner so you can fill the seeder much faster
There are mods called steering wheel keyboard steering
Great video daggerwin
their is a old run down building looks like a old stone church near field seven in the map with a gold nugget by it if you find it you get 1 million
Have you got the seeder set up back to front don't the fert and seed tank be attached to the tractor unit
The seed tank goes behind the seed drill part.
i did that contracting job. it wasn't boring, set it on gps and get it to trun automatically at the end of the row. 3hrs but worth it
Where did you get the pink 4wheeler, the American Outback map, the Big Bud DLC, and the ground modification? What modding site did you find these on?
Daggerwin please when your combining don't ever shut off the machine before the chaf stopped coming out that's how you have to do it in real life
In real life here in Indiana farmers can turn off traffic in a way. The police will escort large equipment if the farmer lets them know ahead of time.
Hey dagger I'm not sure if that is the biggest in the world. I know that there are some 84ft around where I live and I believe that somewhere in the states or Australia there is a 120ft seeder! Now I don't know if it's just a fake but it does look like it! It's has two of those grain tanks behind it!
There is a much bigger seeder. 214 feet vs the 84 feet of the Seed Hawk. The 214 feet one also has 2 air carts. Look up Zells Planter on youtube.
You really like that word "impressive"...
Impressive isn't it?
The measurements are in bushel's not liters
Also the size of that farm is good enough to actually work making McDonalds burgers
Daggerwin it's nice to see the MF combine. But a cat lexion would be great and more appropriate and different for other lets plays It may be worth looking for
i wish there was an Australian map
bam t there is one map I watched someone do a massive harvest... why are we left out, like Korea gets more attention then us because of their "nukes" they say they have. hope that was what your looking for mate
there is a western Australia map
bamz 2317 AUSTRALIA BEEEEEEEP YEAH!!!!!!!!! I agree
Ver bludy is
There is, Southern cross station
Loving the big buds
In Australia we have planters larger than 120 feet with two seed carts on it
The sound of the 450 is better than the bigger Big Bud
CrazyAlphaChannel the little ones a cummins motor the big one is a Detroit diesel
I think that you should use two trailers one for seed and fertilizer. I live on a farm where we use a two small grain trucks
swivel steer trailers are easier to back by hooking to the front of your tractor..not applicable to all situations but just drop turn around re-hook back like a pro.
That is no where near the largest seeder in the world. There is one in Australia that is 214 ft. And there may be larger ones yet.
You should get a john Deere 8r series as they are quite common in America. It would also be helpful if you needed to use a front 3 point.
everytime I'm reminded about this game I end up only watching this for a month, stupid game taking up all my time!
Edit: also on a side note I believe in the US the government pays a the difference if the cost of certain crops (like corn) when they drop below a minimum price to encourage farms to keep producing because you can end up with issues where the price goes too high where people refrain from buying the crop, causing lots of rotting and unused crops, leading to farms have economic issues
Don't quote me on this, if anyone has any idea just uh, comment :)
The biggest air seeder is in Australia! Watch it on TH-cam - biggest air seeder.
nice
please can someone tell me what his farming sim 15 serever password
Dagger can you fertilise grass on fs17?
Hello Daggerwin you dont need to plow and cultivate our seeder can do that
I like the big bud 450
Notification Squad!!
Dagger I think if you don't want to use fertilizer all the time why don't you use a weeder instead in early stages the use a herbicide later on i believe that the weeder classes as a stage in the fertilizer stages. Also Giants Software have brought out a new American map.
a nice sounding tractor is a tractor reving a V8 super charged!
Dagger only ever have 1 worker at a time and say you just have one man that works for you most of the time
daggerwin a Massey Ferguson will be seen in America, but they rant as a common as case. I still do think that Massey Ferguson is a very good brand
in not saying it's bad.
with what mods du u play (packs)???
Do you have a mod spreadsheet for the mods you use?
14:20 trailers are ok but physics are just too "light". while you back it up you should be able to feel more weight on the trailer to then it would be easy
Why are the fields so big in the American Outback? Makes sense to use bigger machinery.
What map?
daggerwin can you also use big bud on your crazy videos its worth a try like if you agree
Let it grow let it grow you can't see what you don't sow
on the smaller big bud look under the rim of the top of the cab. at one part I saw break lights when you trying to do the mission there may be turn signals there.
when i tried to get the big bud dlc it just didn't work!
There is a mod called trailer assist, it makes reversing with a articulated trailer much easier.
First thing I do when starting a save is to sell that articulated tipper and buy a proper tipper.
i see westbridge hills is on modhub. you can switch your multiplayer server to that map
Anyone 2023?
Dagger use gps as in real life you would not use that big of equipment without gos
Gps
Yes and no. We dont use Gps with our JD 8870
Just Depends on the Farmer/Company
Daniel Coltrain I'm guessing it's not pulling an 84ft air drill lol they use gps and sometimes complete auto-steer if they can afford it
*GPS
We don't plant with ours. We use ours mostly for pulling a cultivator or v ripper. We use a JD 4450 FWA with a 12 row or our neighbors 24 row
Daggerwin for the American map is there multiplayer??
