3 28 4k Amtrak California Zephyr #6 Another On time Train, Phaze 7 and a stop drop and Roll!

- Hi ya folks here is the California Zephyr #6 from Amtrak Coming in to Fort Morgan Colorado ON TIME!! 2nd time in a week....!! at 8:25 PM
On the front of this train we have a Phase 7 Heritage Unit #82 and after that a Phase 5 P42 DC.
This train has Conductor Kelly on the back and he , as normal , goes out of his way to wave to all the cams! We appreciate the extra effort the crew puts into agnoliging were there and give us all a wave! Super cool!
He makes a perfect stop , drop and rolls out with 3 folks getting down in the Fort tonight. With everyone off and Kelly back on - They call a highball in the fort and we Hear Rik up front with his famous " Allllriiiight on a clear"
Always nice to h ear that marking the end of our catch on a high note!

Whats up FF !! Im a little behind on videos , Tryen to catch up as time allows. Hope to be caught up by the end of the day :) But yes Im not sure exactly where that all takes place but Ive noticed that too that #5 staff will come back on #6 its a pretty common thing ive noticed over the last bit .

I' ve been told the crew changes at Lincoln Ne to Denver Co. Only operating crew plus conductors do that. Dining room staff plus all sleepingcar attendants make the entire run. So they can drop off in Denver about 8 AM+ & get back on #6 about 7PM enroute back to Lincoln Ne. Don't know their home base but that run is about 7-8 hours one way. Probably Fed Rail and/ or Union rules cover which staff drops off & which goes all the way. I experienced this on Empire Builder # 7 & 8 awhile back. Crew change at Minot ND & other stations I expect.
Hey Ben!! Great info! I know they do it because i will see the same crew from the day to the night sometimes the next day. not sure about the internal crew! But i will say the crew is alot more chipper during mikes time frame , its nice to get Kelly with some energy for us every few trains.
