Hey Jay! Thanks for dropping by and the question. The Jar is about 7 inchs high and about 6 inches wide at the base it sounds small but its a good little nano jar. It would be awesome for a work desk at an office. It would set well next to a computer monitor or in that kind of space. :) i look forward to seeing yours!

Hello NoahParsons, Thanks for watching and the question. My 4L I have set up on a 40 gal planted and i run it between 2-3 bubbles a second and it last about 3-4 months before needing to refill. I hope that helps you. Feel free to report back what you experience when you get yours. :)

@noahparsons7420 If I'm being honest, Ive never ran one on a tank that size but that would entirely depend on your flow in the tank and how well the Co2 takes. That's a bit big of a tank ,BUT. To better your chances you could get a inline diffuser but bare minimum you'll want a better diffuser and to get a reading on what it's gonna take you'll need a drop checker. The idea is for the tank to take up as much of the Co2 that it can before dissipating on the surface so getting a good flow across your plants with the Co2 will be your goal . I wish I could offer better advice but I don't have any experience running a gen in a tank that big.if this is s9mething your wanting to take seriously and If you do have access to getting a normal Co2 refill you might consider spending the extra and going to a traditional system . If this is something your wanting to learn and play with then a gen is gonna be great for you and I look forward to hearing what it took to feed your 75 and how much different that is from running a 40. Could be an experience. Either way Co2 is alot of fun.

@@JayRockDoesStuff okay thank you for the input I heard similar things about a 75 gallon being too big but I am a novice and I’m not really wanting a crazy co2 setup quite yet so I’m more just learning and experimenting. I am going to set up a circulation pump and find a good balance to distribute the bubbles and see how it goes. If it doesn’t go that well I have 30 days to return so that’s a plus. I will definitely let you know how it stands up in a 75 gallon, should be here tomorrow!

@@noahparsons7420 - It should work for your purpose then and i think youll enjoy it. You will probably need to pump more bubbles per second to get your Co2 Drop Checker to turn green and in turn the tank may not last you as long as me But it should still work. Getting a circulation pump on there will def help. i would start 2-3 bubbles per second and see how long it takes your drop checker to turn green or for the ph to drop . Hope this all helps you. Hey Hagens!! Something I didn't mention, was that its a nice change of pace from the fish tanks. I know you guys like plants so i think yould really enjoy this. Thanks for the question . Its 1 stage regulator BUT hear me out... with DIY Co2 Im not sure Ive ever seen a 2 stage regulator that wasnt homemade. a working pressure adjustment adjust the pressure the regulator handles. In a diy system those pressures dont exceed 600 psi. so the regulator just puts it out on the higher end of things setting at almost 50 psi output. untill the pressure in the tank is below 50psi. meaning your due for a refill anyway and you dont need to adjust the working pressure. The needle valve adjust the OUTPUT pressure to your diffuser so you just need to figure out what your bubble count you need for your tank on THIS system is and you can either buy a co2 testing kit or use a co2 bubble inside your tank to measure. With that said the pressures inside a conventional liquid co2 system solely depends on temp. as the liquid warms it expands into a gas and those pressures can get up to like 1600 psi.. thats why you need a working pressure adjustment as 1600 psi would probably blow the regulator, needle valve, disc off the diffuser and your fish out the water. if that makes sense. IF your running a conventional system stick with it if you can get fills and can afford the system itself. DIY Co2 is aimed at people who can not get conventional system refills - remote living- people who like to tinker and people who are just getting into Co2. it sounds like your past the beginner stages BUt this system would Def work for you in a pinch if you couldn't get a fill or your regulator broke and you needed to span the time between equipment changes that sort of thing this system is a great back up and even fun to just run on a less serious tank for fun! Hope that helps answer your question and shed some light onto DIY Co2 - lemme know if i can help any further.
