True game pass is 10 bucks a month so if I do some math it’s 120 a year and say you use game pass for the entire console generation that’s seven years that would be 840 bucks but In other countries The price could be a little bit different so this might not be accurate

The 360 made up a good majority of my middle/highschool days and having all of those games at easy access on a current gen Xbox is awesome. I left Xbox before GP came out but personally I want the series x more just for game pass, I got the series s rn but I might not even keep it and just return it (I got 15 days to return it as long as it’s not broken or damaged) if I can find a series x or I might just buy a pc on Boxing Day instead and get a rtx 30 series instead. Either way I want to have access to the game pass
You can get game pass 1yr passes online cheap, add 3yrs worth and convert the lot to ultimate for $1. In my country ultimate is $15 a month. Did 3 years for $6.6 a month instead.
Microsoft is crushing it with gamepass. And the little jabs at Sony make me laugh. A 20$dev mode for homebrew 😚 XD. Sony won't ever allow that. Back compat with any emu that will run. The starry night Xbox background looks alot like the old PS2 starry night background. Microsoft just needs a real JRPG dev now. I vote mistwalker lost oddesy is probably the best not a Ff but it should be rpg.
Oh hey let's not forget that if you just do your rewards and gp quests you can get that subscription free and still have leftovers for paid games. I get avg 18-20k points a month and gp is only 12k. So win win win.
Absolutely! Could not agree more. I am both a Playstation and Xbox fan however the Xbox One completely let me down so I ended up selling it. Decided to give this new gen a chance and I love it. Own both the series S and X as well as a PS5 and the ecosystem is just phenomenal. Game pass is a game changer. Love my ps5 too but it's collecting dust atm.
@@uptheroad9 It's a upscaling technology that is used mostly on PC but Xbox sseries consoles and ps5 now have this tech, the series s will benefit from it tremendously the upscaling will look native 4k on games that run 1080p and or 1440p on the series s also framerates will be pretty much locked in with higher resolution as well but its up to devs to use the tech.
There are. If you buy an an external SSD you can download all games to it to save space on your internal storage. However the only gripe with this method is the transfer time between SSD and your new Xbox. It will take a few extra minutes of your time but your storage space will be tremendously expanded. This is a fraction of the time it takes to reinstall games completely on your new console if you wanted to play by their rules.
@@jondoe2k except if you store x/s games on an external hard drive you have to transfer to internal hard drive to play games unless they are Xbox,360 or xbone games. I have the memory card and external hard drive.
@@MrBacon717 only a few games are not quick enough to run from ex-ssd. I play most my games from the card, but the games I do have to move over take a small few minutes at 4+gbps.
Yeah, FPS boost is one of my favourite features too, so it's a shame we haven't heard a peep from it since 5 months ago, which was when the last batch of FPS boost was put out.

Nah I own a ss and ps5 the ps5 is better in most ways the xbox doesn't feel next gen it just feels like an xbox and the ps5 controller is so good compared to the xbox pad I'll judge on the exclusives

You cant find a console ANYWHERE and that has caused a lot of people I know that are hardcore Playstation people to go with the Series S. And all of them are blown away by what it offers. My best friend has a PS5 and a Series X and barely touches the PS. Just not enough games. I was only going to get a PS5 this gen but now I am going to wait a few years for them to flesh it out. I am upgrading from a One X to the S (because its literally the only one you can find) and the load times and game resume are key. The PS5 will be awesome at some point but its just not worth the effort of monitoring stores to get a 500 buck book end as there really is nothing on it.
I noticed that even though I don't have a 4k TV there is a noticeable clarity and brightness compared to the Xbox one. I only imagine how it looks on a 4k OLED display.

not sure about everyone else but I always have the A (or X on PS) on the crease part below the thumb and the X (or square) is the thumb itself. Easier and faster to switch that way.

I have actually used the co pilot feature on my og xbox one with 2 different broken controllers, very useful If you have that situation and you don't have the money to get a new controller. Luckily I wasn't working with that for too long, upgraded to a series s soon after😄
Glad I found out about the double press to pair to previous device trick. I can now pair my controller to my Nvidia Shield TV and Xbox One to play games with my kids on them without having to physically attach one or un-pair and re-pair an Xbox One controller. Love it!

We need FULL button remapping for ALL Xbox controllers not just the Elite controller, being disabled I'll never be able to use the paddles of on the Elite and there are many games I often need to switch the triggers to the face buttons and you can't because they arbitrarily limit it to the Elite controller.
These are all features I can do now with my Xbox One, I don’t have a series X/S yet and I can play Spotify while I play, turn individual party members down, join and create groups and clubs 😆 they’ve just been carried over

In my experience you can only do this if you're using a games native party chat feature. If you're in a private Xbox party chat I don't know if it can be done. Additionally there is a spot somewhere in the settings to check off the option to "record game chat". Sorry I can't be more specific.
The series x/s are the best versions of Xbox since xbox360 . I've been faithful to playstation since I got the PS4 back in 2013 but now I'm back baby ! I got me a series X last month but I'll grab a PS5 in the spring ..maybe . Really enjoying Xbox rn ngl. The only reason I still turn my PS4 on is because I have hella skins etc on Apex 💀

I’ve been pretty underwhelmed by the series x so far. Hardly any difference from my original Xbox one. Load times are a little faster but nothing else is much different. Nice to have a quality 4k blu ray player though
agreed, I'm a old school PC gamer but got me an xbox at launch. Great machine, but dang, how do you play shooters with a controller? my aim (if I don't use aim assist) is really bad. Bought a extra mouse and keyboard for my xbox for that purpose, but yeah, only so many games can make use of it. Also the downside is, even while playing with m/k I need to have my controller active, every 15min it shuts itself down asking me to connect a controller. They should fix that.
Sadly the double-tap synch feature doesn't allow you to switch between two Xbox Series consoles, which I'm sure not many people want to do, but I need to - well ... I don't need to, it would just be nice if I could - but it doesn't work... 🙁

Yes you can directly transfer via wi fi when both consoles are on the same network. If an upgrade is needed the series x will let you know when you try to launch a game.
You make a video making it seems like these features are exclusive too the X/S but some of these are user interface components that are available on the Xbox one consoles.

Grab a 1440p game monitor and play in 120hz 1440p that’s the way to go

agreed, I'm a old school PC gamer but got me an xbox at launch. Great machine, but dang, how do you play shooters with a controller? my aim (if I don't use aim assist) is really bad. Bought a extra mouse and keyboard for my xbox for that purpose, but yeah, only so many games can make use of it. Also the downside is, even while playing with m/k I need to have my controller active, every 15min it shuts itself down asking me to connect a controller. They should fix that.
Chose Xbox over PS in this generation and I’m so happy, so much money saved and so many games to play.

Sadly the double-tap synch feature doesn't allow you to switch between two Xbox Series consoles, which I'm sure not many people want to do, but I need to - well ... I don't need to, it would just be nice if I could - but it doesn't work...

If i upgrade from the Series S to the Series X. Can i directly transfer the files from my Series S to the series X. Will there be any issue as the size of the game is different for the series s and the series X??? Please help @XboxOn
Yes you can directly transfer via wi fi when both consoles are on the same network. If an upgrade is needed the series x will let you know when you try to launch a game.

You make a video making it seems like these features are exclusive too the X/S but some of these are user interface components that are available on the Xbox one consoles.

LTT made a video on it but HDMI confusingly rolled 2.0 into 2.1 so you need to be a little careful

@Keith Nowak oh wow. I can't find them anywhere around near me. I wish they did a type of pre-order. So you buy it and when the next shipment comes in it gets set aside for you or it gets shipped to you. That seems like the logical thing to do.

A bunch of these things are just part of the Xbox OS and therefore also on the Xbox One. You don’t need a Series to do most of these things.

I went from xbox one to series s. Trust me, you do the series S. It's a hugely faster console. The difference is gaming is very noticeable.
Looking for a second opinion...I got a ps5 as my main....Xbox series s as my secondary that I almost never play......I was able to pre order the Halo edition series x.......would you keep the series s and sell the Halo for more or vise versa ?

I'd sell the S only because the X is alot Harder to get. I wouldn't recommend rushing to sell but although I love my s, we all know the X is what we're aiming for
Why is the Xbox home poorly optimized when I have it set to 4K 120hz?? It’s more like 1080 45hz. It’s blurry and not smooth at all!
They just did an update for native 4K across the system UI. Everything's clear and sharp now.
