We head away from the built up seafront area and find a great spot to park up before we squeeze into the camper built for one. Ian has muffins and he wants to share them with us, however, will we fit in the Delica!

It was lovely to see Los Alcazares.. my Mum used to have a house there, it was very underdeveloped when she got the house 34 years ago.. many happy memories of holidays there.. glad Freddie was a fairly easy fix, fingers crossed that’s it .. safe travels

I think manufacturers should be held to account when plastic parts fail. Nice castle in the outro been there a few times.
Hi there, many thanks for watching. Yes, indeed, far too many cheaply made parts used with no accountability by the manufacturer....Some folks are lucky, but we've certainly had our fair share of parts failing recently, Freddie is nearly completely new under the bonnet.

Yes, the flamingos we're fantastic to stumble upon and as you know, we do love a little bit of photography first thing in the morning 👍💙❤️📷. Ah yes, it's very much the tourist season in Skye, it's definitely a catch 22; great for the local economy but not so much for the locals who are not part of hospitality/tourism trade. I feel you pain (kinda) I've have a friend who had a sprinter lwb camper. That thing spent more time going back to mercedes and costing him over 16 grand in repairs
And he didn't have much luck with the peugeot boxer either.
So glad all sorted now though 🤞

Yep, luck of the draw unfortunately. Like we said in another video, what annoys me is that mechanically, our van is thoroughly looked after with regular servicings etc, yet some folks absolutely abuse their vans and have no issues at all....very frustrating!

Haha, the Rock Ape is Claire's Dad, Ian. He served for 24 years and retired in the 90s lol. Please don't hold it against him, he's working really hard at the alphabet at the moment and soon I'll be teaching him his 2 times table.....but that's way off🤣😂👍.

Evening folks pleased to see you on the road again, and you ended up on the Mar menor( salt lake lagoon) at the right time of the year as it has become very popular in the summer. As for La Manga well that’s famous for its golf courses and sports facilities and celebrities. Pity about dads meal but a lot of these places only open up on certain days out of season. Ahh, so you know the area well then. The salt lake was beautiful, but we can imagine how busy it gets in the high season and there didn't seem to be that much parking around. Yes, shame about the pie and mash, but like you say, we just happened to turn up on the day they were closed for holiday lol. Yes, lucky I was able to 'bodge' the bleed valve, although to be fair, it's now stronger than an original part lol.

Never saynever mate , Benidorm always pulls you back when you're passing . Great area to explore around Murcia , the lagoon was the Mar Menor , famous for its flamingos and salt . Elche is famous for shoes , Claire might be disappointed you gave that a miss . Looking forward to where you got up to on the La Manga side .
