Tuned 2017 GMC Yukon Denali POV Test Drive & Review

Here we go on a tour and test drive of a modified 2017 GMC Yukon Denali. On the outside, this looks like your typical Yukon Denali, but this one has been upgraded with an aftermarket exhaust and air intake system that really helps push this SUV. The powertrain consists of a naturally aspirated 6.2 liter V8 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This particular Yukon comes in iridium metallic on jet black perforated leather seats.
Standard features of this Yukon Denali include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include a navigation system, power sunroof, power running boards, and rear entertainment system.

I bought the twin to that 4 months same package had 59,000 when I bought it the 6.2 runs great same milage if not better than a 2008 5.3 suburban I had. I did switch the high beams to LED and fog lights to LED from diaode dynamics and add a plug in tuner to stop that cylinder delete system

@@goodtimezproductionz It was a one owner a local company it was the owners personal vehicle bought and serviced at the same dealer oil changed every 5,000 and any GM recommend services were done. With the 3.23 axle ratio turns 1,700 rpm at 75 mph great for interstate. Runs good feom a dead stop will spin the tires thru 3 gear but I do wish it was geared a little lower maybe 3.73 because here in Wv I dont get on the interstate much

@@goodtimezproductionz They talk about these eight speed transmissions I found out if I just drive around in 6th gear local transmission feels like it shifts good to me sometimes at slow speeds in town even in 6th it my search for a gear but thats usually when I've almost came to a stop and then took off. I use 7 and 8th on the interstate because they are both overdrive gears. The6.2 engine when you stop it from shifting into the 4cyl mode is a different beast don't have to worry about the number 1 cyl lifters going bad this way they are always working with all 8 working all the time. I run a good oil filter a wix or fleetguard with mobile oil or penzoil but I do run 5w 30 instead of the 0w20 and I'm always on my maintenance never goes past 5,000 miles even though I run fun synthetic. I am going to take it to the GMC dealer for fluid and filter change on the transmission this month there's a class action lawsuit on the transmission and I don't want to mess that up by doing that myself if GM settles maybe they will put that new 10sp in it or give me a new one. I think most of the people complaining about the rough shifts cant get use to the fast shifting of these transmissions I read somewhere that said that transmission shifts faster than a porche transmission. Please excuse my spelling mistakes hated english class
