      Thank you for the consistently great content. I have developed a strategy and plan based on your S&R breakout method coupled with similar trend-continuation trading I learned from another channel. Combined, the performance is almost too good to be true. Thoroughout 3 months of manual backtesting in tradingview (I don't trust automated BT software), I have consistently maintained between 92% and 95% win-rate. To clarify, much of those wins actually close automatically at breakeven+ because I use a much more aggressive stoploss method than you use. Basically, in 10 trades I'll expect maybe 1 loss, 3 to 4 wins all the way to target or higher, and generally about 5 to 6 breakeven+ exits (which I logically count as wins, even if relatively small). To be fair, this is most likely not indicative of what my exact performance will be when using actual money where emotions are involved. But, if my performance is even 10% of what my consistent paper trading reflects, then it's virtually a license to print money. So, again thank you and keep up the great work. I will update after I go live with real money after about 100 trades for comparison.

      @@skranz7790 Hi, I am also trying to add some extra edge to the strategy to increase the winrate (focussing on different markets and certain timeframes). However, besides manual backtesting for months, I am always trying to code my strategies in the most accurate way for backtesting to be really sure that the strategy parameters are working and I am not manipulating myself while backtesting. Also keep in mind the actual data that your broker uses + slippage etc. Anyhow, if you want to team up for more backtesting and exchanging let me know.

Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.

    This is similar to my method except I don't use support and resistance areas, do have a specific candle entry formula, and I pyramid rather than scale out, plus the pullback must meet specific criteria. I use a custom 1k line NinjaTrader scanner to find these opportunities intraday in a set of 330 stocks. This took me from 12+ years of breakeven trading to making my first million in 16 months (starting $26k). I've created and studied hundreds of methods so I can judge pretty well if something is a legit strategy. This guy's method is similar enough to mine that I can say it's legit and worth trying.

    In trade? Plot trendline. When price breaks trendline? Exit trade at last swing high/low.
    Cool. I always got liquidated because I'm in profit, but I didn't know where exactly to exit if price reverses or how will I know if price is impending massive reversal. Now I know. Just plot the trendline and exit if price makes a breakout.

    I use the 1 hour time frame for support & resistance & then I watch the 5 minute chart. I wish I knew the absolute best time frames, especially for drawing the levels. I always think I might be doing it wrong. It seems to be working as I watch it, so I guess I'll find out if I can trade them. I trade on Nadex, so my total risk is paid up front. I think it's safer.

    Start drawing your charts off of 1 hr time frames and you will be much more accurate. Does take a little longer to set up. Start drawing off a Daily and you will be even more accurate but even longer set up... All these concepts of finding A & R work on all time frames just the bigger the time frame the more reliable and more patient you will have to be than a shorter time frame.
    Don't recommend trading anything less than a 30 min time frame until you Mastered the bigger time frames first.

    I’m just genuinely curious as to why you still choose to use MES contracts, when you’re position size exceeds that of a an ES, as MES commissions are quite a but more?… I know it’s not a big issue if the trade ends in your favor, but if you take a few losses in a row, those fees are annoying. And I realize that you were essentially at 1.5 a regular ES contact in this video. But just seem like at this point, one would just choose to jump to two ES. NOW, if one is wanting to scale out of a trade along the way, I would understand. But you seem to ride the entire position to take profit… Anyway, just curious as to why you choose to do it that way?

    • @HairyKiwiBalls

    • @Jacked2theTs
      @Jacked2theTs ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HairyKiwiBalls I’m also leaning more into thinking his “live trades” aren’t live at all. After watching a tutorial on Ninja Trader’s replay capabilities and the ability to sim trade it, I think that is where these “live trades” are coming from, that he includes in his videos. Strategy he pushes is legit. Just don’t think his trading in these videos is…. Whether he is an actual successful trader, have no clue?🤷‍♂️ But there is enough going on here, to raise eyebrows.
