      Becoming a good trader takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.

    I have to give you props man. I think you're great. I mean this in a good way. You manage to put out basically the same information over and over but yet you add things every time wich makes it a new video with new things to learn. Because of that it's actually a good thing that you're just hammering in that price action support/resistance analysis. It's a solid strategy and, while simple, it's not easy. It takes a lot of "hammering in" to learn.

    I'll be honest, I clicked on your video even though I was sure it would be clickbait and I would turn it off in 1 minute, but your first tip got me right out of the gate. Treat it like a business. Early on, longevity has to be the plan, growth not profit. I've learned this the hard way, more than once. It's so challenging to overcome the profit motive and focus on the method when you're starting out, but it you're not ready, chasing profit will just blow up your account. Thanks for the great content. Cheers!

    Riley, another awesome video with great tips (it just keeps getting better);
    I agree with you that in the short time frame, trading 1 or 5 mins charts for a cleaner chart with no indicators or maybe one would be enough and avoid the indicator's "lag" while on a longer time frame (Swing trade) indicators may assist on your trade. I also liked your tip to try a new trading strategy at least 20 times before considering a new one. Risk and Reward tips, moving the stop loss in your fluid trading style is very cool. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up. These are awesome videos; I always look forward to your weekend's video. Thanks!!!

    This is all excellent advice, though there is one aspect I don't agree with. Indicators. Some people swear by clean charts, and others swear by indicators. The reality is each person needs to find out what works for them. I tried naked charts and didn't like it. I use a couple of moving averages and MACD, but I don't use them for entries, only as an indication of direction and strength. I then use zones on higher tfs and price action. then enter on pullbacks for good r/r entries. Do a lot of research, develop a strategy that works for your trading personality, then see if you need to refine it after analysing your actual trades.
    ps: most of the 'best ever trading strategies' you'll see on TH-cam are useless.

    yes,this is how i actualy think,to not rely ,on somone else,using signals,copy trading etc,i used to skip skip skip the learning,just want to make money by using signals and copy trading,but when i actualy enter their vip signals,what i got is lose and more lose,so i try to find a better way to trade and come using simple strategy with s&r and trendline break,and it actualy works,many profitable trader actualy use this simple strategy and make a lot of money from that strategy.

    Why buy 10 or more MES when you could be buying 1 ES and paying less in trading fees? Look at cost per 1 MES x 10 vs. ES x 1. You don't appear to keep runners so I don't understand why purchase 15 MES. You could go 1-2 ES and pay less in fees.

    • @RileyColeman
      @RileyColeman  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I try to stick under a strict risk amount of lets say $250. So if that is 15 MES contracts I can only trade 1 ES contract and I'd miss out on the 5 MES contracts of movement. The fees are more but the $ potential of the trade I think is worth it. I could do 1 ES and 5 MES but doing that in real time is difficult on a 1 minute chart when I make the decision to enter quickly.

Because apparently scalping is not really profitable on the long run referring to them. Then what's the poing of learning to trade on a 1m timeframe? If you're never gonna get funded, you're just gonna try and keep growing that 1,5k account into 150k? I don't get it ...?
