And in the end, he sacrifices himself. I think he saw in Terry Batman's "never give up" attitude when it came to redeeming enemies.
Jennifer Pruitt powers and his little piece of eye candy deserved what they got. This though is making me wanna write an au fanfic where someone does manage to save him and proves the world ain’t heartless
This is one reason why I was upset that Villain characters in DCUO are *forced* to betray Freeze in one mission line, they don't even give you an option to instead side with Freeze (possibly even to the point of them managing to keep Freeze from going *too* far....). If I'd had my way, my Villain would have tried to help him (though to be fair, in my head-canon for said Villain, she wasn't actually evil and was only a Villain because her daughter was being used by Circe as a hostage to force her cooperation, and if the JL ever managed to save her daughter, she would happily switch sides in a heartbeat), even if helping Freeze meant pissing off the Joker as a result.
Jennifer Pruitt mister freeze inherently isn’t even truly “bad” in most iterations. Most the stuff he does is to fund a cure for his wife, which is why he became what he did. Most times he expresses a lot of remorse and ultimately ends up turning himself in or helping fix the wrongs he did.
Mr. Freeze is such a great character. Even at his most villainous, you never forget that deep down, he's a good man. You're always rooting for him and want him to be okay in the end.
I like the dynamic mr freeze and batman have developed in the past decade where they have to be helping each other such as in the arkham games. I just don't get why at some point Bruce Wayne doesnt just himself help develop a cure for nora
Not only is it badass as his last words, but its also badass that he CHOSE those to be his last words. Batman gave him all the chance to deactivate the bomb, shit, being one of the smartest people in the multiverses he could've reworked the bomb into a teleportor to take him home and try again one day. But Owlman chose to not save himself, why? Because, it doesn't matter.
My interpretation always was that, if there's a reality for every possibility, if Bruce had ever decided to not overpower him or if any Owlman was stronger than Bruce, the universe would blow up, thus it shouldn't matter for him to deactivate it, some other Owlman would win and the universe would end. He either knew that or simply accepted that he could never win, thus accepted his death.
Owlman also wanted to detonate the bomb because, in his mind, he would be making the only possible real choice, considering there won't be an alternate Earth where he didn't blow up Earth Prime because reality would have crumbled and died. He was obsessed with the concept of the Multiverse and saw many of their actions as meaningless as there would be another Earth where they didn't make their decisions.
I like Mister Freeze's off-screen death in Batman: Arkham Knight. In the mission _In From the Cold_ where Freeze is the central character, his wife is released from her stasis pod (revealing she was awake the entire time) and tells him that she'd rather live out her days instead of spending them in the pod (Arkham Origins established her terminal illness as Huntington's chorea). Freeze deactivates his suit and decides to leave Gotham with her to travel the world with whatever time they have left together. It's implied that they both died sometime after departing the city.

What happened, did Disney hire the scriptwriters of the DCAU to write the plotlines for the MCU movies?
@@ButchersNailsEnjoyer Thanos doesn't count?
On yo feet maggot That is definitely not true
This is how u do a top anything list.the attention to details it just brings back the best memories of long ago animation.
Is Darkseid voiced by Michael Ironside? Sounds just like him.
He is
@@tompor561 Wow weird seeing Sam Fisher as the bad guy.
@@TheChosenMoose01 Don't you mean it's weird seeing Darkseid cosplay as Solid Snake?
@@Balthizaur wait......Michael voiced Snake? I thought it was a guy named David.
@@TheChosenMoose01 David Hayter voiced the original Solid Snake. I was making a joke, as in Ironside should be known for playing Darkseid instead, not Sam Fisher, then I described Sam Fisher as a cosplay of Solid Snake lol
Really good video, not just a list of memorable moments, but also genuine personality and character in the commentary makes the video enjoyable
Well technically darkseid didn’t die but his body is just certain parts of his true entity
I know this is really off-topic but I remember when I was playing Arkham Knight for the first time, Joker appearing again actually made me jump.

Can you please do a lantern corps video with more Young Justice characters
I think The Joker's death scene in The DarkNight Returns deserves a place on this list when he said " I win, i make you lose control and there'll kill you for it "
The censored return of the joker death that makes 3
"I'm afraid there just isn't enough Speed Force to go around"
"That's not funny"
"Loser"
"Good one, mate"
"Believe me, you're the only who cares"
Honestly though, you should do a list on which DC villain has the best last words.
Not Arkham Knight Ra's Al Ghul, Arkham City Joker, Arkham Knight Poison Ivy, or Injustice Joker?
I feel disappointed :/
I'd have to say if I had to choose my favorite Batman villain it would be Mr. Freeze (with The Penguin being a close 2nd), and the reason they were able even to leave such a impact on me for me to consider them my 2 most favorite villains is because of their design in the "The Batman" tv show I mean the orange hair of The Penguin and the way his tophat bended and the monocle, and THEN THERE WAS MR. FREEZE!! I mean the way his suit was designed and the way his powers were utilized by the suit was just awesome, AND I LITERALLY JUST LOVED THE ICE SHAPED HEAD AND RED EYES SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
I think you should change the title to specify that these deaths are only from DC animation.
Cbat 1612 he did
You knew this would happen...good one mate
i really like mr freeze death in arkham? when he rides in to the sum set with his wife and they spend their last time together
what you dont see is, after they are out of sight, he knocks Nora out, refreezes her promising a cure and puts on his new and improved freeze suit 2.0 vowing to cure her, or turn the world into a ice palace where only they will live forever.
I love that 2 out of the 5 deaths were Batman Beyond related.
Almost at 200,000 let’s get him there
This guy is so good at telling a story, also the images help a lot
Unrelated,but young justice is back!
Mr freeze brings back memories from playing the first Lego Batman game as a kid with all the classic Batman villains such as Sandman, Joker and Mr freeze. Who are apart of my favorite DC villains of all time: Mr freeze
Sandman Darkseid Bane and many others
I thought you said John Wick at 0:32.
Great video. Really well done. When I heard the Joker's name, I thought for sure it was going to be his death in Injustice where Superman punched him right through his scrawny chest. I've always loved the look on Batman's face in that frame.

Seems legit
I love how almost every villain in batman beyond have either retired or died
I’m a simple girl. I see reverse flash I click faster than the speed of light.
When johnny quick said 🎹 🎹 🎹 i cried
“Now that kills Darkseid and ends him for good.”
“ THAT IS”
I was genuinely happy when i saw joker again in arkham knight as a hallucination and he still retains his hilarious humor.
The joker
Mr. Freeze has always been fire. One of the characters with the most touching yet non-over the top stories.
6:09 “remember when you were making out with your first girlfriend barry...”
@@Strard IT WAS ME BARRY
The Mr. Freeze episode scarred me when I was a kid
Mr. Freeze was the best villain of the dcau
Yeah, but all the dcau villains are so lovable that I have 4 more right behind him
this channel should deserve 3M subs and 1M views per vid
Technically darkseid cant die he has multiple avatars
Watch thanos vs darkside deathbattle
1:00 actually there was a solid reason. He wanted to go to the original earth where the first choice was made so that he can make the only possible choice which doesn't have a flip side. It's crazy, but it's got some sort of twisted logic to it that works.
Reverse Flashes death in Flashpoint Paradox, was so cool.
Any death that involves a speedster is always my number one. Gotta love those crazy speedsters.
Johnny quick should have been first honestly
As always, wonderful video!
Reverse Flash can't really die tho
He can die he just comes back tho but it dosent mean he dosent die
•muffin Lover• yeah and not giving Hunter a chance
Yonathan Solano do you think he will come back in another animated movie ?
@@yonathansolano8793 because the reverse flash/Eobard thawne is from 22nd century. anytime the reverse flash's killed in twenty-first-century it automatically gets negated because a version of reverse flash/Eobard thawne is always runing back through the time stream and that version of him happens to witness whatever death that occurs unless he killed in his own time period There's no way to kill him
He can die. In the injustice universe, his ancestors are killed and he is never born. Therefore he could die permanently and could not travel in time. Its one the reasons he is not prone to killing people in the past without careful consideration. This same theory holds true in the mainstream.
Maaan all this stuff is awsome bro!!!
Yay, no dislikes!!
GamingGod45935 Just had to jinx it, didn’t ya?
@@brodiecorum6304 nothing lasts forever
my favorite bat-ass moment is in "batman under the red hood" and it's the DOMINATION of batman when he fights jason in the place where todd keep joker
Reverse Flash's second death could have been avoided if he just got a brain transplant after he escaped death but, nope. Go thru the trouble of searching the world for a card because, story!
could of just gone to a Lazarus Pit.
The killing joke joker death was something else. Especially batman's laugh
I like the one where the writers grew balls and killed off a 70 year old character who couldn't experience any more character growth. Then they invented a new villain who could go through story arcs.
Haha. Just kidding, comics books are dead these days. since the 90's everything has been trash. Name one new villian who is decent.
Bane and Harley first came out in the 90's... even after the 90's villains like Hush and The Court of Owls came out who both had amazing Batman comics
@@aprettyrainbow
Hush is a one note character who was built up who basically did nothing and only existed by retconning bruce waynes life, owls only exited because of retconning the entire gotham history where it doesn't make any sense at all. Honestly the court of owls doesn't make sense at all when you consider well batman and his rogues and all the stuff that has happened. It's a really stupid idea.
Then there is the Red hood who signaled the death of all creative thought. Now villians pop up and the only way they can exist extreme retconning. But hey let's kill batman.. again... again... the de age him... then retcon him... then send him back in time.
I'd have included the murder of the Joker in Dark Knight Returns. Batman snapped his bloody neck in the tunnel of love.
The reverse flash’s death was 10x better in the comics than in the film “doctors advise: When you’re in the middle of a war... Don’t stand still”-batman
"You knew this would happen" "Good one mate"
I also loved when joker died in batman returns when joker finaly drives batman over the limit causing him to fracture joker neck and evetually joker snaping his own neck hitting batman with the line " no you have done it "
I love how fitting the Joker's gun is in RotJ.
Ypu gotta respect Johnny Quick. Despite finding out he was manipulated and sentenced to death, he wasn't mad, just impressed.
