I personally felt that Ace's death was one of the most emotional ones in the show. It wasn't bombastic or a duel to the death, it was just a scared little girl who didn't want to die. It also showed how Batman can be very sympathetic and actually tries to help the villains with their problems, unlike today's Batman that tends to beat them within an inch of their life
JourneyVids isn’t that just any radical extremist group or terrorist? They are just manipulated radicalized children who grow up. Ace is objectively a villain, but a sympathetic one. She is a victim yes, but also a villain.
Given that there are some interesting points to be made both for and against Ace being counted as a Supervillain, I would have liked to see her get an Honorable Mention on the list.
The show's creators said that Darkseid and Luthor didn't actually die in the finale. The Anti-Life equation merely imprisoned them within the Source Wall.
For me it was the TMNT cartoon of the early 2000s which that was like part of my whole childhood but luckily I got to watch those shows later a few years later

From what I heard when Lex showed Darkseid the anti life equation they both got teleported to the source wall and screaming in agony for all eternity. They were gonna show it but change their minds.

According to former writer Dwyane McDuffie (rest his soul), Darkseid and Luthor have become part of the source wall. Its also confirmed in the DCAU website as well when finding the future of Luthor, Darkseid and the Anti Life Equation.
As far as darkseid goes, he does die in the deceased comics. He does get the anti-life equation but it proved too powerful for him to control, thus turning him in to a zombie which is revealed later in the comic. Only a small handful of heroes and villains, poison ivy being one of the survivors, take the group to am island in the middle of nowhere where it is protected by Ivy's plants and Zatana's magic. I was heartbroken to see that Cheetah died at the living dead hands of her nemesis, Zombie Wonder Woman.
I want to say that Brainiac in a sense also died, when Flash demolished him from Lex Luthor's body. And I think we can all agree just how epic a moment that was!

Killer frost didn't necessarily kill those guys, just froze them and they died later due to Darkside. In the episode that takes place in the future with batman beyond Parasite is seen amung the villains, so we know he lived at least somehow
Previous episodes had people frozen in ice and they would just break it or thaw them out and they would be fine. Even Grodd could come back. We saw him go out into space but not actually die. They've brought characters back who have suffered worse and Grundy is dead, dies and comes back all the time. It is kind of his thing.

for me ace and grundy being revived were the most painful. Ace for her lost childhood and sadness, and grundy for, after being free, he was revived only to be killed in a painful way.
I think that Luthor and Darkseid ended up stuck on the Source Wall instead of dying. I can't remember where exactly I heard this, but in the DCAU the anti-life equation is sentient, and will only allow those it deems worthy to use it. Should a person who is unworthy attempt to utilize its power, it sends them to the Source Wall where they are fused into it.
it would be amazing if it found lex worthy as he used it not for its own power but as bait in a trap i feel that if i was a living embodiment of all cruelty and pain that that kind of backstabbing brilliance would be worth at least a onetime pass

‘Kills’ is kinda a strong way to put what Frost did. Unless they die Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay style, they’re just frozen in place like we saw Clayface survive perfectly fine back in Justice League
If going with only the animation, then yes, Darkside is "dead". However if going through comics, the Darkseid we see is merely an avatar of his true self. An immortal God that can literally rewrite anything he wants.

In Superman: TAS, Brainiac had a great death scene where he gets teleported in close orbit around the sun and is incinerated. But as for the Legion of Doom, some of those guys are extremely resourceful…even given that their ship blew up, they were frozen by Killer Frost…I wouldn’t be surprised if somehow a few of them managed to survive

technicaly darkseid cant really die as the darkseid of any given universe is just an avatar of the real darkseid who is bound to his true dimension since he is to powerful to trully manifest in any other dimension

Killer frost didn't necessarily kill those guys, just froze them and they died later due to Darkside.
In the episode that takes place in the future with batman beyond Parasite is seen amung the villains, so we know he lived at least somehow
Previous episodes had people frozen in ice and they would just break it or thaw them out and they would be fine.
Even Grodd could come back. We saw him go out into space but not actually die. They've brought characters back who have suffered worse and Grundy is dead, dies and comes back all the time. It is kind of his thing.

I think that Luthor and Darkseid ended up stuck on the Source Wall instead of dying. I can't remember where exactly I heard this, but in the DCAU the anti-life equation is sentient, and will only allow those it deems worthy to use it. Should a person who is unworthy attempt to utilize its power, it sends them to the Source Wall where they are fused into it.

When both vanished the anti-life equation return to the source wall and took both of them with it. Why (Head cannon) my theory is that those who possesses the anti life- equation must eventually return to the source wall, so before that happens Luthor made sure to take darkseid with him.

‘Kills’ is kinda a strong way to put what Frost did. Unless they die Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay style, they’re just frozen in place like we saw Clayface survive perfectly fine back in Justice League
If going with only the animation, then yes, Darkside is "dead". However if going through comics, the Darkseid we see is merely an avatar of his true self. An immortal God that can literally rewrite anything he wants.

In Superman: TAS, Brainiac had a great death scene where he gets teleported in close orbit around the sun and is incinerated.
But as for the Legion of Doom, some of those guys are extremely resourceful…even given that their ship blew up, they were frozen by Killer Frost…I wouldn’t be surprised if somehow a few of them managed to survive
