They both liked to watch and because they were in an open relationship, they also had their own affairs without each other. He had another kid from an affair that lasted 8 years with their housekeeper. That seems to be the only one she didn't know about, as I read she was deeply hurt. I couldn't care less about their private lives, but when the original poster put him on a pedestal bragging about how good he was, that's when I posted, not so good. Whatever you read about them denying it, could be true, but I haven't seen it. I did read that she was worried about what his family, mainly his mom and their child, would think about him going public about her. He admitted to having over 100 affairs when he was married to Molly..I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like a good person to me. Then, when you factor in all the other stuff, it really doesn't! Sadly I lost my beloved brother 4weeks ago .I couldn't even attend his funeral due to this cov19 .one day I will return to Scotland when this cov19 is gone to say my final goodbye to my beloved big brother and remember the times we danced in the front room to the bee gees. R.i.p jimmy !!

These guys have been in my life for the last 50 years, love all of them. I introduced my children to them many years ago and now my grandchildren. My grown up adult children still listen and love their music, my grandkids are now learning about the “oldies” music and think it’s great.. the Bee Gees unique style of music will live forever and I don’t think will every be replicated. I was born in Manchester close to where the boys lived. Yes they were fantastic singers with often very deep and meaningful lyrics but my love for the boys developed because they shared their experiences with their fans. We knew they practised in the toilets at Lewis's in Piccadilly seemingly because they had old Victorian tiled walls that fave out great echo. Losing Andy so young was a massive blow to this strong close knit family, when Maurice suddenly died I was in shock I think losing his twin had a very detrimental effect on Robin and May have contributed to his early death. Their voices are hauntingly beautiful and they deserve all the love and respect they have earned.

I became a disc jockey/announcer/studio engineer at the age of 16, and played their songs to millions of people many, many times throughout the years. Their songs and voices were major factors in me falling so deeply and passionately in love with the music of that time period that made me choose broadcasting as a career. I gladly admit to not only weeping upon listening to some of their great story-songs, but also on hearing of the illness and death of any one of them. Though I never met them, I most definitely consider them among those I call 'brothers.' I'm extremely pleased but not surprised to see comments here by other musicians, song writers, producers and engineers. The Bee Gees contributed to the success of us all by creating genuine masterpieces of art that will be listened to for centuries to come, should this world last that long, and if not, most certainly 'in that Great Land to which I go.' Sadly I lost my beloved brother 4weeks ago .I couldn't even attend his funeral due to this cov19 .one day I will return to Scotland when this cov19 is gone to say my final goodbye to my beloved big brother and remember the times we danced in the front room to the bee gees. R.i.p jimmy !!

These guys have been in my life for the last 50 years, love all of them. I introduced my children to them many years ago and now my grandchildren. My grown up adult children still listen and love their music, my grandkids are now learning about the “oldies” music and think it’s great.. the Bee Gees unique style of music will live forever and I don’t think will every be replicated. They were and still are are in a class of their own. 🎶🇮🇪😷

Loved, loved, loved the Bee Gees, loved Barry's falsetto & Robin's vibrato, loved the harmonies, the music, what a unique group, their music will always live on. When I hear any of their 1970s hits on the radio--and there were a ton--I think of being young, healthy, single and carefree. A great time in my life. They also write songs for other artists: "Grease," (Frankie Valli), "Emotion" (Samantha Sang), "If I Can't Have You" (Yvonne Elliman), "Islands in the Stream" (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton), "Woman in Love" & "Guilty" (Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb), "Heartbreaker" (Dionne Warwick), not to mention the songs written for Andy Gibb, all huge hits. Did you know that in March of 1978 the Bee Gees had 5 hits in Billboard's Top 10: (Love Is) Thicker Than Water, Staying Alive, Emotion, How Deep is Your Love and Night Fever. No one had dominated the charts like that since the Beatles in 1964. My only regret was that I was never able to see the Bee Gees in concert. I still love their music and always will.
Brings back many memories for me as well , young single, and "You should be dancing!". That was the greatest thing back then, we all loved to dance. They didn't get the recognition that they should have. They were so awesome!

I was born in Manchester close to where the boys lived. Yes they were fantastic singers with often very deep and meaningful lyrics but my love for the boys developed because they shared their experiences with their fans. We knew they practised in the toilets at Lewis's in Piccadilly seemingly because they had old Victorian tiled walls that fave out great echo. Losing Andy so young was a massive blow to this strong close knit family, when Maurice suddenly died I was in shock I think losing his twin had a very detrimental effect on Robin and May have contributed to his early death. Their voices are hauntingly beautiful and they deserve all the love and respect they have earned.

I cannot believe that it has been almost 10 years since we lost this amazing talent. This song for me will always remind me of Robin Gibb and the amazing talent that he was. The Bee Gees will be remembered for many years to come.
VERY nice tribute to Robin Gibb, and to all members of The Bee Gees, and to the families. I became a disc jockey/announcer/studio engineer at the age of 16, and played their songs to millions of people many, many times throughout the years. Their songs and voices were major factors in me falling so deeply and passionately in love with the music of that time period that made me choose broadcasting as a career. I gladly admit to not only weeping upon listening to some of their great story-songs, but also on hearing of the illness and death of any one of them. Though I never met them, I most definitely consider them among those I call 'brothers.'
I'm extremely pleased but not surprised to see comments here by other musicians, song writers, producers and engineers. The Bee Gees contributed to the success of us all by creating genuine masterpieces of art that will be listened to for centuries to come, should this world last that long, and if not, most certainly 'in that Great Land to which I go.' These guys were truly 'a class act' and were born with gifts and abilities that they developed and refined so perfectly that they did not need electronic tools to correct errors or discrepancies in their pitch or rhythm; these guys were the epitome of what it meant to be True Professionals.
