In 1976, a 14 year old student asked me my favorite music group. I answered, "The Bee Gees". He said he never heard of them. Then in 1977, "Saturday Night Fever", a world wide phenomenon. I'm 83 years and was able to follow them from their beginning. Their music is eternal.
Barry often says in interviews that Robin was the most ambitious of The Bee Gees, although he had an incredible voice himself, he was the one that suggested they record many of their hits using Barry’s falsetto! It must be incredibly hard for Barry to lose all his brothers, with whom he shared so much!
I think Barry didn’t like how Maurice lived his life from a bottle robin had strange sleeping habits with his wife’s friends she was apparently gay but nobody’s perfect are they xxxxxx Christine Porcelli

Me too. Their music has made me laugh and cry and yes even swoon! The videos of their concerts are priceless. I watch over and over. All the different decades there's a lot to choose from.
In my 70s and always listened to the Best group of all time without doubt. I am devastated and ashamed to say that not until recgently had l heard the full extent of a solo version sound from Robin Gibb and his angelic sounding voice. Treasure this sound cos you won't hear another one like it. Love You Robin always..RIP.😢😢💌💌

@@wandaloskot Barbara Gibb (Barry ,Robin,Maurice And Andy's mum) said in a interview onice that she believed that the loss of Andy, Maurice and Robin was harder on Barry than on her and in a way that is true as Andy's death Changed Barry he never really got over the pain, Maurice's Death was almost too much for poor Barry too handle he emotionally shut down and shut Robin out . losing Robin was the final blow in over 25 years of pain and heartbreak for Barry. He never in his wildest dream thought that he would out live all three of his younger brother s but one by one they were gone that is every older siblings worst night and two of his brother's (Andy and Maurice) he never really got too say good bye too .Robin he got too spend a little bit time with Robin least before he died. But Mo was gone in 48 hrs and Andy died in the U.K. and Barry was still Miami when he died.

Robin is at the very top off my list of favourite singers. His voice is so beautiful. I will always remember the date of his funeral, Friday, 12th, June, 2012, as I lost my beautiful mother that morning. Every time I hear Robin for the rest of my days I will be reminded of her. Thank you, Robin, for so many precious memories down the years.

That was a great shock to Barry when Andy & Maurice died unexpectedly. And now, with Robin's death, he was now Bee Gees' last surviving (principal) member. RIP Andy, Maurice & Robin. Stay strong, Barry. You still have a long way to go.
When my husband passed away of cancer last year this was one of the songs that I had chosen to be played at his funeral. I believe that it was a good choice, and I'm glad that I did. Watching this video helped to bring back some memories of my mate of 20 years. Thank you ChuylandInc, I appreciate it.

Loved The Bee Gees for many years . Love this song and want it played at my funeral too and I’m trying to figure out how to put it on my playlist. Cancer took my husbands life 17 years ago. He was 50. We still had 3 kids at home at the time. I just lost a grade school friend and been thinking more what music played at my funeral. Just being realistic it will happen.

He never in his wildest dream thought that he would out live all three of his younger brother s but one by one they were gone that is every older siblings worst night and two of his brother's (Andy and Maurice) he never really got too say good bye too .Robin he got too spend a little bit time with Robin

I will always remember the date of his funeral, Friday, 12th, June, 2012, as I lost my beautiful mother that morning. Every time I hear Robin for the rest of my days I will be reminded of her. Thank you, Robin, for so many precious memories down the years.

Loved The Bee Gees for many years . Love this song and want it played at my funeral too and I’m trying to figure out how to put it on my playlist. Cancer took my husbands life 17 years ago. He was 50. We still had 3 kids at home at the time. I just lost a grade school friend and been thinking more what music played at my funeral. Just being realistic it will happen.
