@@CharlesHaywood well although I risk of spoiling it with this remark, I should point out that if you want to to truly understand what Orthodox Christianity in reality and on the ground actually is you won't find it in Orthodox dogmas and whatnots, but in Fustel de Coulanges' "Ancient city". I will say no more.
@@CharlesHaywood I just finished reading this book a few months ago and I am an Orthodox Christian. I think the book is great for understanding the evolution of Greece and Rome, but don't see the specific connection he is referencing?

Ancient city blew my mind. Understanding it through Heidergerrs pov. Orthodox values are just a reaction of being.
