Where has this Toney attitude problem come from? I think the guy is a bit misunderstood because he has an unshakable self belief but seems to get along fine with his Brentford and England teammates. I don’t believe that Arteta story happened either.

We're sleeping on a back 5. Udogie and Porro are so far up and in the middle of the pitch, we sacrifice a 6 to play 3 CB's. Romero in the middle with Dragon and Micky either side. Maddison and Sarr/Bentancur, with a classic 3 up front of Son/Richy/Kulu.
Been saying the same thing. But stronger wings.
Id say keep the 6 and play a 3-5-2 with bentancur sarr and Maddison in the midfield with son and richarlison up top

Both Maddison and Son was 6/10 last season so if people dosent thinl Eze was better than both of them why should we buy him? I think he starts as LW or CAM any day of the week, he was at least 8/10.
Really??? Eze in as LW and Son number 9. You see the players being linked with Spurs, decent wingers are being linked with us but never a decent striker (Toney is never a big 6 team player) i’m 100% sure Ange is planning to use Son as a number 9

Agreed. I think if we're keeping Son then we have to play him as a 9. He's still one of the best LW in the PL but he's not getting any younger. 9 is a poacher in Ange's system and it doesn't require a hold up 9. Last season from mid to end, Son constantly ran down the field to help with the build up, but that's only because Madders wasn't the same after the injury. Strengthen the mids and FWs, then use Son as a poacher. I think Sonny will give us another 2 to 3 great years in that role.
How about Eze as LAM and Maddison as RAM?

@@TheDonPatrick Yeah, he's perfect for that Ange 9 role. But that's only if we improve our mids for more reliable and consistent build up, and bring in wingers who can comfortably hug the line to spread the defense, then make that final pass into the box.
Otherwise it's the same story as last year. Son will plug whatever hole that needs to be plugged; Play Striker, LW, and often play like an 8 even when he's supposed to be far up the pitch. Hopefully, we bring in the players Ange needs to succeed.

You left Hojgberg out of the number 6 vote? The bulk of the votes for a 17 year old at number 6, who’s never played in the PL is beyond baffling. Look at teams that win titles, and more often than not they have the best number 6 in the league. It is such an important position , and until we invest a minimum 60 million in a top class number 6, we will remain top 4 at best.

This lineup just isn’t good enough. I honestly wouldn’t care if we get a 6 or any more defenders, we have gray, just get doue and a very good striker like Osimhen or Gyokeres.
We have no world class players except for Van de Ven and Romero we need better players

We are heavily linked with Duoe who looks miles better than Johnson and Kulu even at right wing. (Even though I'd rather get Bakayoko he will cost too much if we wany all targets)
And if we had an ACTUAL MARQUEE STRIKER like Gyökeres or Openda we would cook. Toney would be kind of a marquee signing, he is prem proven and way better than Richy.
Love Richy's passion but not goood enough. I would do cash plus Richy for Gyökeres. Then bring in a rotational striker like David.

Keep in mind what I'm saying. Brennan Johnson will become one of the best wingers in the Premier League within the next two seasons. All he needs is playing time to develop.
Neto is already one of the best wingers in the Premier League, but if we give Brennan consistent opportunities for just two years, we'll have a player like Neto without the injury issues.
