Gediminas are you using D5 for quick renders, Twinmotion or other? What's your go to? I love UE the most, but for the simple stuff I'm curious what your go to is...
For really quick renders I use Vray, as it's right there in Rhino. For full package (renders and animations) i flip flop between d5 and twinmotion. Whichever has a newer update that I want to try out. For anythijg that goes beyond animations (apps, interactive stuff, virtual reality, furniture/material selectors and so on) I use UE 5.
Yes. We will see a lot of similar renders and animations withe the same scattered models. Yesterday Ive upgraded d5 to pro and i know i was around 6500 person who goes to pro version. I am wondering how many users D5 will get till end of this year.
I’d recommend a higher VRAM if you want to do larger scatter areas without your computer slowing down . A lot of people have been accidentally doing too big of scatter areas and they can’t open their files again due to a lack of VRAM
That was exactly what I need to achieve my project ! So helpfull with Your custom distribution in photoshop 👌 thanks
Keep it on !
every time you post a D5 video the quality of the finished product looks nicer
would be pretty sad if it went the other way tho~

i have start using D5 a couple of months ago, like much more than twinmotion and enscape.
Yup D5 is a really strong competitor!
Hola Gediminas, one more wonderful tutorial :)))
Thanks for watching it :)

UE5 or D5 which one do u prefer❤
D5 for client work, UE5 for personal work
I’ve been using Twinmotion because it’s free including all assets, also has scatter. How does it compare to D5 nowadays?
TL;DR this - th-cam.com/video/7tTfL-DtpXk/w-d-xo.html
@@DesignGoBrr true, but who’s the North Koreans, D5 or TM?
How memory efficient is the scatter? 8gig of vram is enough to navigate a scene like this properly?
Yea, that should be perfectly fine. The moment the viewport becomes too slow, you can just use a more aggressive far-cull distance for assets.

@@AshtonAime3D Unfortunately that's not an options for a while, so I will be just cautious. Thanks for the warning!
Sorry, whats the program?
D5 - it's free, get it here: bit.ly/3z9LwHX
So you can't render a plan, because of the gridded vegetation? seems a pretty big limitation ..
Yea, hopefully we'll get a proper tool for breaking apart the uniform grid distribution
