Quick tip to speed up your rhino workflow. if you just set a diferent display color for each layer as you create them, you can then use the Command "SynchronizeRenderColors" to make an exact color matched material for each layer in 1 sec... much faster than making individual materials especially as you get more and more layers in a complex scene

@@lucyynwang I have a lifetime license which I bought years ago when they first launched as part of their promotion. I didn't use D5 much at the beginning, but I am using it more and more now! They have a free version with limitations on render resolution and limited assets. For most people it should be fine to use the free version. But the way they are developing the software is at break neck speeds and I think this is an investment you should consider getting!
It was just modeled normally. I usually just do 3 horizontal curves - top curve is straight line , middle curve is a little wavy and bottom curve is very wavy. And then I create a loft through them. Gives an "ok" curtain result
Hello i have a question plz.if i need to rotate an object from rhino but in d5 render .for example i want to rotate a door to create an animation.how to do it plz
Little stones were done in Grasshopper, but you can just use D5 scatter tool and you'll get a similar effect in 5 minutes. Since this house is currently being built - most of the furniture has been selected and downloaded from different suppliers.
Absolutely! There is definitely car animations and firefly (fire bug) animations available. I don't know about running people. There are walking people though

While the base software is free, you can upgrade to a Pro account with a monthly fee. Its still extremely affordable compared to other render engines and you get tons of High poly objects and textures to play with 👌
This is an amazing alternative to Lumion, Twinmotion and Enscape!
Get D5 here: www.d5render.com/
It is not alternative. It's supersedence, if you have a really good GPU
This is FREEEEEEE so these programs can not compare

That's an ecellent tip! Didn't know about the SynchronizeRenderColors command!
Omg, didn't know about that command. Thanks, perfect! Ah there is so much to learn :)
I am using it for months and its a wonderful intuitive tool to be honest
I will most likely be using it more and more as well!
This render engine is great! The last update is pretty awesome!
It really is!

Tysm for this tutorial!! Been trying out new render softwares and this made it so easy to understand 🙏

What do I do if when I sync with d5 render and rhino but it won’t let me add materials to the model in D5?
Hi mr, I have one question about the modelling in rhino. How did you make the curtain? You used grasshopper and kangaroo or it was modeled normally.
It was just modeled normally. I usually just do 3 horizontal curves - top curve is straight line , middle curve is a little wavy and bottom curve is very wavy. And then I create a loft through them. Gives an "ok" curtain result
@@DesignGoBrr Thanks a lot. A query about the furniture of this scene, is it downloaded from the internet or was it completely modeled by you?
how to make a wavy base like that in sketchup?
Can you use your own materials? For example I have a my one wallpaper designs and fabrics. They need to be shown with accurate upholstery
Yes, of course - you can add any texture you want into a custom material :)

So D5 or Vray ? I’m interior designer new to rendering in Rhino (past I used revit and enscape)
Vray gives higher quality but is more difficult and a bit expensive, d5 is faster, easier and free.

Yes. Almost anything is better than AutoCAD for 3D modeling of architecture.
