I really like that 7 pin trailer connector, I move my 20' flat bed down the road hauling wood and hay with my tractor for short distance's. Sure would be nice to have lights.

Welp, I want one! 🤩 Looks like it's got the 4r seat suspension as well which is a huge improvement. Not that it's necessary, but wonder if air ride is an option. Very curious how price point stacks up to the 4m & 4r. No tilt steering, right? Unless I misunderstood, only one rear SCV is possible plus Power Beyond? No 4th/5th?
The bigger front tires remind me of the Kubota MX Series, makes it more of a direct competitor to it. We're the ROPS light guards also standard with those rear facing work lights? Didn't fully understand that part.
Awesome, super good video Tim. Pretty cool to introduce a totally new model 👍😎

Wow... so a heavy duty is different, but the same. Common on JD - if your gonna release a new 4series HD, make the entire tractor notably difference than the M and R. This is marginal new lipstick on the same old pig.

ATTENTION JOHN DEERE...John Deere is headed in the right direction with this one...NOW, Make a CAB Model of this tractor that's cheaper than the 4R's!!! (needs to be less than $40k)...for the smaller farm owners, (Mini Farms) that want to beat the elements!!! The 4R cabs are too small, The Air Conditioning doesn't work good!!! You can't get to the radiator or condenser well enough to clean it...(It needs pull out screens)... So its not good for mowing. The one job where you need cab and air the most!!! Kubota has it with the MX5400 and MX6000...Im just saying!!! All my equipment is Green...For Now...

They would never do that because they do not want the two divisions of their company competing with each other. That is why you see the full size utility tractors mostly with agricultural tires. I was told that for every 100 5 series tractors that John Deere makes, only one comes off the line with the industrial package with R4 tires.

John Deere must not have been around to many Chicken Farms. They show the tractor loading gravel. Everybody knows 2 things about chicken farms that are for sure. 1. They "say" they are going broke. (John Deere is not a budget tractor) And 2. They are allergic to gravel. The road bed to chicken houses is always muddy, rough, and rutted out. ;) this is a joke by the way.

What is the size for the front tires? Best i can tell it looks like an odd size - looks like 31.5x13. I think Deere is feeling the pressure from other brands that include some of these "extras" as standard equipment. For the price they charge these "extras" shouldn't cost extra. I think the 4M looks awfully narrow from the rear. Does the 4M have an aluminum rear end?

I have 42 acres, I currently have a cub cadet/yanmar sc2400 with a 60” belly mower, 4’ Kodiak brush hog, and a small disk/cultivator that was made for this tractor. I’ve had it since new in 2011 and it has 3673 hrs as I type this message. It had a thermostat go around 1400hrs if I remember correctly(I’m a mechanic) so no problem there, replaced a shredded serpentine belt a time or two. Other than that I am more than happy with my machine and would absolutely recommend them and buy one again. I like simplicity and reliability, and if they sold a 4052 heavy duty in a stripped down version without all the electronic stuff, I’d buy one cash today. I don’t want the electronic stuff, I use my little yanmar to do every aspect of property maintenance, and I tend to use it for things it surely wasn’t intended for, and I know in the long run, those electronics will give you some form of headache in the form of not working, or needed for replacement. Love to get a 4052HD With a loader, pull behind finish mower, probably get a bigger brush hog, and a small field cultivator and I think I would be set. We have a lot of old growth timber that I’ve been slowly cutting, and it’s all my little yanmar can do sometimes, trying to hoss some of these logs around. All said and done, and if I would convince my wife, I’d go to the dealer with $70,000 and have a field day. No pun intended.

It looks like some of the features are being used that the 110 TLB had, except more engine horse power,on the 4066 HD looks like John Deere is finally listening to the custmer, not the bean counters.

Do the wheels move out or is it a fixed track?
It seems quite tall and narrow as it sits. Maybe that's not a concern with the intended poultry application.
Love telescoping draft links. I have them on both the 2440 and 2755 JDs.
I think they are a better way to go than a quick hitch.

Tractor that is supposedly the Cadillac is disappointing that it only has one scene for the back, power beyond is a let down,

Would have rather had it have a pwr-reverser setup. Not a big fan of hydrostatic. I feel like you lose too much power with them.

So John Deere gave up and is copying Kubota for some of the features

Not bad tractor but that size can barley lift a ton farm I work on has one and struggled to lift a ton a tractor that size should have a problem lifting that

One-bed downfall you have with that tractor are the foot pedals far forward and reverse are useless when you have weak knees.

Tim, do you remember the front tire size on the HD? My 4052R cab tractor has always needed wider front R4 tires especially with the 440R loader hooked up. And maybe they're taller as well?

Those are nice additions for those in the poultry industry and a few other industries which need the additions added to this model tractor as standard.

Hey Tim I really enjoy your videos. It has helped me as I'm new to tractor sales. Your information is amazing and I pass what I learned to my customers, even share your channel with them if they want to compare kubota to John Deere. Thank you for your videos. God Bless you Tim.

Guys... I learned virtually nothing about this tractor that differentiates the 4M from 4M HD. What I heard was HD bucket, skid steer ready attachments, bigger tires, and some carry over 4R pleasantries.
In mines eye this tractor show come with a heavier frame, heavier loader, increased max lift weight capacity, and a whole lotta discussion around the increased performance capabilities of the HD.
Why would a poultry farmer with no need for front end loader buy an HD?

Not sure if you are complaining about the video, or the tractor features.
I can only ‘own’ the video. To my knowledge, we covered all of the differences thoroughly, and pointed out clearly that the capabilities of the tractor are essentially identical.

So the website says the 4066M heavy duty has a curb weight of 4290 pounds. Does that include the 440R loader and bucket?
