It's always great to see a competent young woman camping and cooking "meat" instead of vegan soup!! Even though I am very old now and have outlived my wife, she was always a help and companion on hunting and camping trips. Miss her but love the memory of it all!!
I learned to listen to the quiet out there. Then I could hear the falling snow and the friendship of the fire. Such friendships brought the element of peace with an understanding of each of their more dangerous traits. Good times.

I think everyone should do this just to prove to themselves that we have it in us to survive a night in the woods if we ever needed to. You made it look easy and a little fun.

Don't be hard on yourself, was a great video and definitely a difficult balance of filming with different shots and POV's while setting up camp, collecting wood, making fires, etc at the same time!

Setting up camp in perfect weather takes time, in bad weather it takes much longer. I love instant oatmeal. I have it most days because it is quick and easy. Once a week have bacon and eggs. There is a little breakfast place near me that has 2 eggs, home fries and toast for99 cents, bacon is extra. That is my weekly splurge. Happy new Years
Way to go girl. Any time you are camping in the snow you have to keep on top of things. I have always wanted to use the bucksaw like you do between the knees but forget when I am out to try it. good going.
Drain pipe or pool noodle or something like that will really help shaping the chimney pipe next time, also wear leather or cut-resistant gloves especially the first time!

I can't think anyone can compare like you, Once you out there, always started sawing woods and use the high end gears. Using the survivor tools to start you campsite. I find that amazing. I was mentioned before, you're an athletic and strong woman. Whose loves camping in wood or on heavily snow areas. You're video always look great and confident where you camping. I believe, people inspiring all about you. I love it.
