Good update Kerry ~ that 3 bdrm Casita is money. Monumental undertaking putting together 3 factories is this short a time. And if Boxabl wasn't seriously onto something, there wouldn't be so many copycats, so to speak, angling to get into the space.
I'm so excited about this stuff, but I really don't like the layout of the family unit. I expected something a little bit more functional. The living room is too crowded with the couches and the TV is by the dining area????????? That's just weird. I could go on and on, no joke. My wife and I plan to get a prefab home soon, but so far I just haven't seen anything I really like. Probably, we're going to have to go to one of those companies that does some custom stuff. There were a few things about it that I did like, like the upstairs bathroom, but that's not enough for me to justify it. We want something that we could be happy in for the rest of our lives probably. That little window upstairs is a crime. big windows and lots of light are a must. Even on that small square unit that I like for one person, the big door windows had too much bezel or whatever you call it. Might as well just put bars in the windows to obstruct my view. I don't want to live in a prison cell. They need a more minimalistic approach. Nothing should be blocking my view. I want to live in nature, or think I'm living in nature, while keeping the pests/bugs out. They made the whole wall of window doors, but half the view is blocked by ugly black metal. It doesn't give that clutter-free peace of mind I expected from them.
People are in need of homes now especially in cities like the LA counties. They should have boxabl home communities where people can rent and rent to own as well, and also have an option to buy the land it's stationed on in that community.
Cars are much more complex to build than homes. Homes should be able to be built cheaper than a car if the manufacturing is done right. So glad to see these under development. I’d like to see a factory built airplane too. I just had to pay $3,300 for a Cessna 182 part that was smaller than a hubcap made out of aluminum.
These concepts in homes have been around for decades. Modular, build/move, assembly line on site or panels stacked for crane install. Ain't nuthin new except responding to the demand.
Note that nothing is said about them losing $30m last year, and that the government contract in Guantanamo Bay (156 homes) is all that they have sold thus far. Their sale to the copper mine in Arizona last year was shut down by the division of manufactured housing, and the homes at the site disassembled and returned. They had to sublease the warehouse next door to them to store the homes that have no buyers. They spent $6m last year advertising to raise money. The financials were just disclosed for 2022 and are online at the SEC website. This channel is most likely a paid promotion from Boxable. Is Kerry being paid by Boxabl for these posts?
And for some reason no one is questioning why mister boxabl cashed in his shares of boxable stock worth almost six million dollars when not one single boxablcasita has been delivered to anyone on the Reserve list. I understand they also had problems with the units they delivered to the government.
I agree. Terry is definitely being incentivized to post about Boxabl because it’s excessive. He used to have #boxabl on every single video he posted. Please disclose Terry!
I’ve been wanting to buy two of these casitas to put them together, but I have been able to get even a estimate on delivery time. They won’t say if it’s 3 months, 6 months, a year, 5 years, etc. it feels like ordering a Cybertruck.
Besides the father and son, they probably hired engineers to do a lot of this automation systems/machine design. The company seems to follow the Tesla/Musk model of rapid innovation and streamlining of processes, and putting no limitations on the future. From the beginning, they had certain important innovations and the determination to carry them through, and it also helped them really to capitalize on the tiny house/ADU craze. After all, if they can get one small house to be cost effective, energy efficient and durable, ramping up to larger homes using modules and the same building equipment and process, should be easier for them. That explains a lot, about the permitting problem, so thanks for reminding me and others about that.
Hey Kerry, I trust your opinion and respect your channel. But just in case you don’t know. There’s some very shady things going on with boxabl. Meet Kevin broke it down well. But to me one of the scariest and most heartbreaking things. Is if you even comment on any of their stuff and ask about your concerns in good faith even, they will delete your comments! I would really like to hear your thoughts on all of this. I didn’t invest a whole lot. But some people aren’t so lucky. With all respect, Influencers like you have a responsibility to show both sides
I’ve read through the comments for more feedback regarding this. I like this channel but it seems like Kerry only replies to the positive comments but doesn’t comment on anything questioning these concerns. I’d really like to know what he thinks, unfortunately, he seems to be ignoring this.
If they have Park-RV certification now and that means has to be under 400 square feet what will they do when the size increases or you combine units then how are these regulated by states. It is so confusing every state has different regulations and certifications. Please make a video addressing all of this. All these houses are cool but I don’t see how most states will allow them . Especially if a company is out of the USA they are not going to be certified and allowed in different states that require inspection and registration in a state. People are not going to be happy buying a modular home and then finding out in there state it’s not allowed.
Kerry, There are rumors the influencers are taking money to give positive reviews on the company. Can you confirm or deny that you've accepted compensation from them ?
What happened in Bagdad Arizona? Houses are sitting there for more than a year, and can't get permitted. Someone should have thought of that before they delivered dozens of units.
The end of anthracite coal decimated the single industry economy in NE PA. Lots of space and available labor markets nearby. Come and see. Bring the CEO.
I'd buy their theoretical 40ft model they've talked about, but it seems it'll be a decade before it happens. They should build and sell them as "sheds" in the meantime, or stick them permanently on a flatbed trailer and sell them as RVs. Also gotta love how the government says they're fine for service members for the DOD but not for the average consumer to have something affordable.
There are reports one of Boxabl's accounting firms has a claim for non-payment and says their financials are the worst they have ever seen. I happen to be what the SEC calls a "fully qualified investor" which allows me to participate in angel and series "A" startup stock offerings. Not smarter than any other investor, but I can afford to lose the investment in the eyes of the SEC. I look at companies very closely before any investment, and Boxabl has so many red-flags I would NEVER put even a penny at risk with them.
They'll have no problem getting modular certification. It's a pretty low bar that they already exceed. It's just a matter of getting some government drones to wrap their heads around what Boxabl is doing. We toured the factory last October. They've added two more factories since then. These folks aren't messing around. Unfortunately, they just move much more quickly and effectively than the bureaucracy does. It's a shame in terms of delaying access to this desperately needed housing solution, but that's the system we live in.
And yet Boxabl in 3 years of "production" has NO occupancy certification. Several years prior to taking retail investor money they existed as an R&D startup. Ask yourself why on earth Boxabl operated oblivious to occupancy certifications for years. Why did the Arizona dept of mines return a bunch of Boxabl units as others have reported ? Why at this late date are there no videos of occupied Boxabl units ? The only videos are of tradeshow demo units, which require no occupancy certs. There are reports by others on TH-cam of Boxabl employees that have quit citing management shenanigans and pressure to sell to new customers and bring in retail investors even though Boxabl at this point can't actually deliver units certified for occupancy anywhere. Do your own due diligence research.
Im sure the price of land in that area has tripled they should be buying multiple sites in 1 transaction hopefully in a different LLC name so they dont pay a premium
I put down a $200 deposit 1.5 years ago for a boxable home. At that time there was 20,000 people ahead of me. I imagine there's double or triple that by now. Doubtful I will ever get one or my deposit back. What a scam.
but if they don't put the cart before the horse, they'll get left in the dust. You've gott push hard in the beginning or else you'll always be behind. That's how competitive the world has become
Great update. U know this is really an exceptional story here. I love the big American flag too. It says Built In AMERICA. Alive Innovative America. Suggestion: Might be fun to do a deep dive hour long story on the key elements/players of Boxable. It might be worth traveling there to do this and meet up with the key players and get an employee perspective too. Early influences. Mission statement. Future dreams. Decision process. Note: If you do decide to go to visit, then this might be something to talk to the owners about. ▶️ My favorite companies like Chobani and Bob’s Red Mill both offered PART OWNERSHIP TO ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES. I’ll bet that if Boxable did this then that would launch them into the success story they are probably capable of and hoping to achieve.
How many houses have they actually delivered to their retail customers ? Common sense tells us to build one automated factory then replicate the process, the main problem remains low productivity, even Katerra had plenty of cash to burn at some point.
This has to be a ponzi scheme. 3 factories and they are not shipping products. You don't buy a second factory until your first one is too small or can't get the product out fast enough and there is a loss in potential revenue. Yet they are on their third with products not shipping until Q4 2023?
All of Boxabl’s facilities are rented they don’t even own them and the second facility is just being used for storage. The third one they just rented a section of the building but haven’t specified that to the public. Why are the founder doubling their salaries from 400k to 800k plus 400k in bonuses when the company is losing money depleting 4-5 million per month? Why are they launching 4 new crowdfunding offerings when they haven’t proven to investors that they can make them money after milking 140 million from 50k people? Why did galinao and Paolo Tiramani dump 5 million shares each and go on a spending spree? They are treating investors money like a piggy bank! WHERE IS THE CF FUCKIN O?!? Why hasn’t there ever been a cfo?
On list and invested, GO BOXABL GO!

@@KerryTarnow Boxabl is being investigated.
@@liviuperianu5499boxabl is a scam that is paying influencers to talk up something they can not deliver. We all have to make $ but at least think a smidge as to the possible consequences.

thank you!! appreciate it Jilly!
Can you please create a playlist of prefabs available in Canada? That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Good idea
If the TH-cam algorithm can have 2 thumbs, why can't they have a big honkin' heart
Great idea!
I feel your sweat. We've had a bad heat wave here for most of the summer. They should changeit from summer to suffer
Haha totally
Kerry, what’s up with their licensing and permit requirements for their units? There is a issue with permits and sewage, water and electricity hookups in California rumor has it they are having permit issues and zoning regulations issues? Can you verify Kerry?
I started watching this, because I'm looking for a way to get gma the cash out of her traditional house, whilst she's still around to enjoy it. Then I didn't have my glasses on, and thougt that you were my old housemate from my time in Boston after college, because he's always dabbling in new crap. Well, you're not he, and I still don't jnow where to put gma, but I love your channel!!!👍👍👍
haha thank you! Glad you're enjoying the videos
Increíble 👏🏼. Bravo 🎉
Thanks!
Do hope they units for the handy cap and for off grid living in there plans
I hope they build more factories in different states! Cause I am interested in this but I live in Florida and having shipped here is expensive!
How is release Homer? Stand up for 2 cold weather like 30 below.
Good update Kerry ~ that 3 bdrm Casita is money. Monumental undertaking putting together 3 factories is this short a time. And if Boxabl wasn't seriously onto something, there wouldn't be so many copycats, so to speak, angling to get into the space.
When are we gonna see trucks rolling out of these things with houses on the back? Plenty of people are ready. Lets go, Boxabl.
Thumbs up 👍
Thanks 👍
They got their money from the main investor….Don Horton, who is already under many law suits of their quality
Great update!!
Thanks!
Holy crap! Thats steep
These concepts in homes have been around for decades. Modular, build/move, assembly line on site or panels stacked for crane install. Ain't nuthin new except responding to the demand.
Good stuff here!
Thanks 🙏🏻
I be would use the vacumn elevator for $50 k on a 2 or 3 story. You can have stairs but I would also add the elevator
The competition probably has something to do with the rush
could be! thanks for watching
Agree. Terry get out ahead of this and don't go down with Boxbl!

We need an East Coast option and factory
I’ve been wanting to buy two of these casitas to put them together, but I have been able to get even a estimate on delivery time. They won’t say if it’s 3 months, 6 months, a year, 5 years, etc. it feels like ordering a Cybertruck.
We need this in Florida

I’d really like to know what he thinks, unfortunately, he seems to be ignoring this.
mrkevin said a lot of crap about boxabl. he got a negative about boxabl. i wouldnt reply on his video for my research.
@@eric1565 would still like Kerry to explain why he’s wrong.
I will have a factory in the Midwest & utilize them to mass produce homes in the Midwest. I will need a budget.
Hurry up and take my money Boxabl!
Anyone notice at 4:46 he said "hit the ground" and that's what the guy in the background did 😂
haha
Kerry, There are rumors the influencers are taking money to give positive reviews on the company. Can you confirm or deny that you've accepted compensation from them ?
Like t or hate it. This technology is the future. Whenever something is to benefit the masses there is always a plan to disrupt it.
What happened in Bagdad Arizona? Houses are sitting there for more than a year, and can't get permitted. Someone should have thought of that before they delivered dozens of units.
Northeastern Pennsylvania would be an ideal place for multiple factories to house the East. DC has ADU rules. This will spread.
Hey Kerry can you get Boxabl to make homes in Australia the Gov't got a bill of $1million dollars to build one house in the outback remote community
Modular certification and permits for zoning authorization and construction permits nationwide
exactly
Unable to get an answer regarding ck a working factory.
Tell me why ?????
Are they hurricane proof? And if so, have you looked in shipping to Puerto Rico ?
Im not sure if they’re hurricane proof but would have to be built to wind requirements of where they’re sent
Yet years later NO HOMES?! Hum.... no product no "approvals" .... a billion dollars$$ makes you go WHAT THE F!!
Well im getting my deposit back like Biggie said "it was all a dream"

Totally your call! Thanks for watching
@@SeattleCoorain what red flags?
They'll have no problem getting modular certification. It's a pretty low bar that they already exceed. It's just a matter of getting some government drones to wrap their heads around what Boxabl is doing. We toured the factory last October. They've added two more factories since then. These folks aren't messing around. Unfortunately, they just move much more quickly and effectively than the bureaucracy does. It's a shame in terms of delaying access to this desperately needed housing solution, but that's the system we live in.
Exactly. Hopefully they get it soon.
Wise words.@@SeattleCoorain
Im sure the price of land in that area has tripled they should be buying multiple sites in 1 transaction hopefully in a different LLC name so they dont pay a premium
how was the zennihome tour!?

I put down a $200 deposit 1.5 years ago for a boxable home. At that time there was 20,000 people ahead of me. I imagine there's double or triple that by now. Doubtful I will ever get one or my deposit back. What a scam.
but if they don't put the cart before the horse, they'll get left in the dust. You've gott push hard in the beginning or else you'll always be behind. That's how competitive the world has become
and then later on you sort of said what I did, but not as clearly, and not exactly in the same way. Hitting the ground running vs left in the dust
One thing I've noticed, not one person has gotten one for them to be cranking out these units. Check online, not one person has reported getting one.
Hey Kerry “ One Day…Maybe…Poncho C
hopefully!
I'm smelling this as a Vancouver Stock Exchange (or Mexico city exchange) pump and dump. All the flags are starting to get flying.
How many houses have they actually delivered to their retail customers ? Common sense tells us to build one automated factory then replicate the process, the main problem remains low productivity, even Katerra had plenty of cash to burn at some point.
"One house per minute" WOW
right

Did Japan start with tiny living spaces many years ago?
Yes, my understanding from Kirsten Dirksen followon video is they are having big problems
Thank you for your comments many of which I have wondered myself.
