Thanks for reminding me of my childhood, this is one of my favorite movies from my childhood. In this Narrator and Hanuman ji's voiceover is done by Mukesh Khanna, he also created and acted as Superhero in 1st Indian Superhero TV series *Shaktimaan* . The show was one of the most popular and longest-running television series in India. 🤩🤩

Lord Krishna, Rama, Hanuman etc are Incarnations of God. Bheem is not an incarnation he's a human and did performed his karma. Even Bheem from Mahabharat can be considered as God as he's amsha of Vayudeva. Please keep the difference btw good human and God.

In stories of Hinduism : There are gods who did evil and cunning deeds like Indra, but there are also demons who are better and nice people.
Infact antagonist of Ramayana - Ravan -
He is the best ruler who kept his people safe and happy,
He is one of the great devotee's of Lord Shiva.
He is well versed in all vedas and scriptures.
But because of arrogance, lust and pride - he lost his morality. Even Lord Rama felt bad after killing Ravan and went for 1 year penance to Himalayas.
I view stories of Hinduism as symbolistic teachings of how to live your best life.
Satya Yug - Good and Evil existed as different races like Gods, Humans - Demons
Treta Yug - Good and Evil existed in same race like Ramayana ( There are good and bad people in gods, humans and demons ).
Dvapara Yug - Good and Evil existed in same family like Mahabharata ( Kauravas and Pandavas of same dynasty )
Kali Yug (Now) - Good and Evil exist in every person.

Hi rima-ji I'm glad you read ramayan before you watch , in India every hindu know ramayan from their childhood stories that has passed from generation. As you said this different apart from you read , like some great scholars wrote it in different ways depending on different time lines, has veda's( ancient holy scriptures) says that ramayan and all the activities are happened and it will happens again , according to the yuga's there are 4 yuga (like era ) we are in 4th yuga and ramayan happened in 2nd yuga and also after 4th yuga entire creation will be destroyed by god and will created by him/her self again. So after that 1st yuga will starts and ends up and 2nd yuga will starts , like ramayan will started but with some changes. That's the End of the story, thank you 🙏 jai sree ram

Ravan is not bad guy he just did bad thing and he has high ego coz of his power and Lanka is the most beautiful place with high technology compared to ayodhya and ravan is a great musician and a great devotee of lord Shiva and he is a great ruler and his kingdom has no faults like drought or food scarcity and he is a great ruler that's why after the battle Ram told his brother to be beside ravan and learn about ruling kingdom and all stuff.

no ravan was a horrible person, he had the most knowledge out of all the living beings in everything and was one of the most powerful being at that time. he did not do just 1 bad things, ravan was known to abuse women (r***), kill teachers, he killed hoarde of innocents for centuries, killed and assaulted married women. lord ram sent lakshman to ravan to learn about the essence of life, since ravan realised why he lost and all of his mistakes and was incredibly knowledgeable. lord ram did not send lakshman to learn about ruling or anything related to that. ravan was great, powerful, most knowledgeable but this does not discount the fact that he was one of the most horrible beings ever

The lady at 16:47 is Trijata who was devoted towards Mata Sita, and was later blessed by mata Sita to be queen in her upcoming lives. As per some tales, few centuries back from present, Queen of England - Queen Elizabeth was the same Trijata.
Lord Hanuman is IMMORTAL. It is said that He exists even Today. Hanuman even appeared before Tulsidas, a 16th century saint and on His instructions, wrote "Ram Charit Manas" a translation of Ramayana from Sanskrit to Avadhi (a type of Hindi Accent). "Hanuman Chalisa", or Praise of Lord Hanuman was also written by Saint Tulsidas in the 16th century.

She was actually good at heart & one day she had a vision in her dream that Kingdom Lanka would be burned to ashes by a monkey & Ravana would be killed while Sita will eventually meet Lord Ram again…..& they would be lucky that they will meet Lord themselves & would be blessed…..

The best video on Ramayan I have seen on Ramayan in TH-cam is "Valmiki Ramayan" from the channel 21 Notes. They narrate the entire story of Ramayan in detail. If you want to have a detailed understanding, I would recommend it.

Distance between Sun and Earth is Mentioned in "Hanuman Chalisa"- An Ancient Prayer
juga-sahastra-yojana para bhanu leelyo tahi madhura phala janu
According to the above verse from Hanuman Chalisa, the distance between Sun and Earth is
yuga-sahasra-yojana = 12000 x 1000 yojanas.
According to Hindu Vedic Literature in use:
1 Juug = 12,000
1 Sahastra = 1000
1 Yojan = 8 miles
yuga-sahasra-yojana = = 12000 x 1000 * 8 = 96,000,000 miles
1 mile = 1.6 KM
96,000,000* 1.6 = 153,600,000 Kms
According to Modern Astronomy and Science, we know that the earth's orbit around the sun is not a circle and is slightly elliptical. Therefore, the distance between the earth and the sun varies throughout the year.
At its nearest point on the ellipse which is the earth's orbit around the sun, the earth is 91,445,000 miles (147,166,462 km) from the sun. This point in the earth's orbit is known as Periapsis (perihelion) and it occurs around January 3.
The earth is farthest away from the sun around July 3 when it is 94,555,000 miles (152,171,522 km) from Sun. This point in the earth's orbit is called Apoapsis (aphelion). The average distance from the earth to the sun is 92,955,807 miles (149,597,870.691 km).
The Hanuman Chalisa was written by Goswami Tulasidas (born in the 15th century) in the Awadhi language. Thus, the distance between Sun and Earth has been calculated much more accurately than the 17th-century scientists even before two centuries have passed.

Prākāmya: realizing whatever one desires
Iṣṭva: possessing absolute lordship

At the end of each thousand years he offered one head to Agni. and since he had 10 heads, it took 10000 years when he was to cut his last head but Bramha then appeared for him.Ravana was at least 56 million years old when Sri Rama defeated and killed

Just to give a good reference lord Bali was much more powerful than ravana himself once they fought against each other and bali defeated him and kept him under his shoulders for 6 months until Ravan under humility accepted his defeat, actually bali had a boon from lord brahma that if anyone in a fight comes infront of him 50% of his fighting skill and strength came into him. That's why lord Ram did not directly face him and shot him behind a tree 🌲

The Deamon lady helping Sita was Trijata. Trijata was demon herself and she was a security guard assigned by Demon king Ravan who kidnapped Sita and brought her to Sri Lanka, where Sita was kept in a isolated garden area surrounded by all Ravan's demon soldiers and demon gaurds. But demon Trijata was very kind and was helping sita and updating sita with all ongoing war updates between king Ravan and Lord Ram.
So cool to imagine that there can be such kind creatures even in such a dark place. :) Thanks for sharing, Nitin!
Actually Sri Lanka isn't across the Indian Ocean, but it is separated from India by a narrow water channel known as Palk Strait. The Indian mainland and Sri Lanka are joined by a very narrow and intermittent patch of rocky path known as the Adam's Bridge (name given by Western researchers), which is known in India as Ram Setu. You can see in this movie how the animals and followers of Ram threw stones in water, which floated and created the way for Ram's army to cross over to Lanka.
Recently, research has shown that this is a man made path which was made more than 2000 years ago.
Many people believe that it is a proof that the events of Ramayan really happened.

But don't take it as fact because some events in this movie are not real like hanuman taking sun in the mouth and lifting of mountain because there's no mention of it in the ramayan (it was written in a book by a poet Tulsidas in 16th Century but actual story of hanuman is in the valmiki ramayan)
