- Tokuzo Takahashi of LA Tenri competing at a 10-man slaughter line. It was held during Norwalk Judo Dojo's 80th Anniversary Tournament at John Glenn High in Norwalk, CA on Sunday, April 1st, 2012. Takahashi is a member of the All-Japan Team from Tenri. He competed against the best of Southern California's black belts without a break without defeat. There are a few versions out there but this is a full 10-man version. Congratulations to Sensei Takahashi!
7 of 10 matches were won with uchi-mata. If you want to compete against somebody as good as this you have to learn how to eliminate his ability or opportunity for him to use his favorite throw. ask your older teachers about what you could do to stop it.
In 1966 Isao Inokuma ( world champion ) was on tour of the United States. He did a slaughter line of 10 people of varying ranks up to 4 degree black belts==. He won all 10 matches by doing the first 10 throws of the nage no kata. To my 20 year old eyes seriously great.
You could build a whole martial art around uchi mata. The possibilities for it are almost endless. Good luck finding a way to eliminate all opportunities to use it.

He is incredibly talented, no doubt about it, but am I the only one who feels like he was allowed to complete some of these throws? After so many fights he is still able to score an ippon on a fresh black belt in only a couple of minutes! He is brilliant, I’ll give him that... but I wonder.... any thoughts?
no, they are not letting him. When you spar with someone of that quality it really is a massive difference compared to your average black belt.
This guy be fighting in world class tournaments at the age of 42 when young ofcourse he was other level

after watching how effortlessly he uchimata some of the judokas after a struggle I think he couldve done that to 10/10 of the fighters but didn't want to show the same 'trick' to the spectators. Even if you know the uchimata is coming the different ways he sets it up is so clean
