I tested quite a few products today but the Pana Dora fragrances really surprised me! They are such incredibly sophisticated, well balanced fragrances, just WOW!

I've just purchased XVI and Aqua de Dora after checking Fragrantica and then thought I'd research TH-cam......and of course your review of XVI popped up! I see its an autumnal fragrance but the offer was so incredible that I had to strike fast lol.

Thank's for the video. You're amazing, and so proffesional video. I've noticed boozy fragrances doesn't match my lifestyle that much because I mostly ain't out nowadays, and can't go to work as a teacher smelling boozy haha. But gourmand and spicy is the best I know.

I would recommend to you the Pana Dora one. This has awesome performance and gives a sense of 'calm' in it's fragrance....it's pretty special. Everyone that I've give a chance to sample this one, falls in love instantly

I love Golden Dallah - and I surprised myself by wearing it in Brazil when it was 32 C outside and it never became cloying and my wife loved it. I thin it is because it is not too sweet and has a kind of dreamy quality that stimulates the visual imagination. But it is better suited for the winter, that is for sure. I also love Black Phantom and just bought the astonishingly beautiful 15 Year Anniversary Kilian bottle and matching clutch as a back up. I already have the far out skull clutch for my first bottle!
Great to hear from you David and love that you tested Golden Dallah in that intense Brazil heat....that coffee note would just jump out in the that heat! I agree with you that because it's not sweet it doesn't become too cloy on skin.

I am all about that awesome XVI bottle, need to try out these fruity woods. Roaring Radcliff is one I cant wait to try. I have Teddy and Cousin Matthew from Penhaligon's so a long way before I complete the portraits collection but Radcliff and Sohan are next on the list.

With all this being said, and as a constructive critique, you confuse projection with sillage.
In perfumery, and in the french language in general as well, sillage is the trail.

I also appreciate you taking the time to advise on the correct use of sillage....this word has plagued me from the beginning 😩 (have a look at my earlier episodes and you'll see that I was mispronouncing this🙃). You're right in saying that I've interchanged this word with projection....I'll make sure to adjust for all future productions (thanks mate for making me aware)

Oooh, but very careful Marius....once you start you won't be able to stop😂 To buy one, it'll be lonely on your shelf. But to buy 2 or more only means that you now need all of them😩 The good news is that the perfumes are amazing and super diverse, so something for every occassion.

Being that you love Pardon and Baraonda, I would recommend to you both Roaring Radcliffe and Pana Dora. Both of these are a little bit on the sweet side but I believe the tobacco in Radcliffe and the woods in Pana will be in your scope.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector You may want to give Angel's Share by Kilian a try. Gourmand/autumn scent which has me besotted at the moment. Gourmands are something I wouldn't reach for right off the bat, but this stinker is high class and works for me.
Ha ha, you had me fooled with the Pana Dora. I thought it was......Lord George of course. All their frags have the deer head. I wonder if they ship to the United States.
Yep, funny that! I did the same thing when I saw this bottle. I had a look on their website just now and it looks like they do. Funny I had a look for a US distributor but nothing came up (unusual).

I thought that Pana Dora bottle was one of my favorite Penhaligon’s fragrances - The Tragedy of Lord George (by the great Alberto Morillas)! Another fine autumn fragrance.

I'm so sad that Golden Dallah on me lasts 3/4 hours and then it's completely gone...
Whoa, I’m really surprised to hear this….this is close to eternal for me. I wonder why for you? I spray 3 times and it lasts the day. Out of interest, can others smell it on you? I know that I sometimes can go ‘nose blind’ to a fragrance….could this be what’s happening for you?

Man, that is totally weird. I’m reaching out to friend of mine that also has Golden Dallah and see how it performs on him. Out of interest, did you buy from a reputed retailer? I know that there a lot of fakes on the Xerjoff’s out there
I think you experience this because the dry down is so different and subtile. Its totally different from the top and middle. Middle also goes away on me after like 3 hours, but i can smell the base notes for many hours after that
