Yeah. This guy is scamming people by not clarifying that as well as the price tag for wanting full access being as high as it is and he's made multiple videos on it without clarifying it once. The product may work but bad business practices don't make it a product worth using to me and I'll always warn people against it.
@@EscapeRealityFilms Its horrible, i even thought its just like 500mb, so i can move all files but with 500 mb limit, But nope! if i copied a 480 mb file i would be left with 20mbs left to recover, bad software, greedy creators.
Do we need to back up files on the sd card prior to using disk drill? Or is it ok to keep data in sd while using program? I dont want to delete or corrupt any more files. I noticed a batch of images missing off sd card while looking for image a year later.
Backup is recommended in cases when the card is damaged to prevent any possible data loss during the direct scanning and recovery processes. In other cases, you scan the card directly

Let's say I select a folder I want to recover: when I choose the location where I want to save it, the program will only export/recover the files alone, not the folder structure plus the files inside. What am I doing wrong?

I have the Disk Drive app to recover 40 tv programs that I formatted from a Western Digital portable drive. The issue is that I cannot figure out all the data that was tranferred. @younesmohssen8158 complete loss 7 years of work i needed up fi ding maybe 25% on an old usb i sent the darn thing in to the actual company and they told me there was nothing going i could do because it is a helium drive... 19tb gone over night. And assume my son had knocked it over like twice but it had worked after that then I went on like a 5 day trip last year came back and it was corrupt 😒 waited 6 months to save up 500$ cause thats hoe much they told me it would be to fix it then finally got to send it in for them to instantly tell me I'm screwed, I had a TH-cam channel with almost 10k subs to had all my videos on The usb and 2 months before the usb crashed my TH-cam was takened down over some non sense though I was going to be able rebuild it coz of the usb but nope lost that now to over 700 videos just on that I'm truly devastated but at the end of the day nobody give a shit and I've basicly had to start moving on and rebuilding it from scratch. Hi, I lost almost 8k photos and videos on my MacBook phots, one day it just disappeared out of nowhere and it was connected to my MacBook at the time my iPhone broke and I got a new one I don’t have the old phone anymore I assumed that my photo gallery would be fine whit out the old phone I tried to look if my iCloud storage had the photos and videos but it was lost there as well even tho it was all there saved up as well. Then I watched one of your videos and I downloded disk drill it says that there was like 15k photos and 1,5k videos found but the photos and videos are from iMessage that I send or was sent to me but none from my photo gallery, and the photos that disk drill found mostly was files that had images that were destroyed like it had no image or like a weird emoji, and logos (I don’t know how to explain) but it was stuff I never downloaded. I don’t know what to do those photos and videos were my youth and my childhood pls if there is a way to help let me know or make a video about it. Ps. My MacBook never changed I have had it since 2019 and I would always put my photos and videos there in photo gallery. My phone changed last spring (2023)

The truth is that I have a pretty big problem and that is that I have a 4TB disk that has my information and then in a reinstallation of Windows with a supposed computer scientist he formatted the disk to change the format so that it would appear in Windows 11 and well nothing, I got it It also partitioned and there is a partition that does not exit... so can everything in this application? Likewise, if it is not 100% effective, what exactly can I do? Can it be recovered 100% or less?

I got the pro version and followed everything on a Mac (different video). Did the byte to byte backup and everything. Either it didn’t work or I’m just tech illiterate. I was trying to get the photos back from an old 32 gig flash drive I found. I recently formatted an sd card on my camera the night after a wedding with many videos and photos, i have used disk drill and paid for the upgraded versions, I removed the sd immediately after formatting (do i did not overwrite the sd) when using disk drill i recovered all the photos plus more that i originally formatted and overwrite, but the videos although the files were recognized as accurate time stamps accurate bit-storage and even thumbnails i could preview disk drill gave me a low recovery chance, more so when i downloaded what was the files and tried to play them in multiple media players, (vlc and prism) none of them played as they had codec issues which i haven’t found to resolve. Do i have a chance in actually getting these very important videos back. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED 🙏
You can use Disk Drill for Mac to attempt to recover data from an Android phone. Disk Drill for Windows does not have this feature yet. Please mind, that Disk Drill can't be installed on a phone, you need to have a Mac computer. Yes, you can use Disk Drill to back your drive up, but it is designed primarily for recovering faulty drives that cannot be scanned otherwise.

You can also use a Search bar in Disk Drill where you can type in the file name or its file extension
Hi, I lost almost 8k photos and videos on my MacBook phots, one day it just disappeared out of nowhere and it was connected to my MacBook at the time my iPhone broke and I got a new one I don’t have the old phone anymore I assumed that my photo gallery would be fine whit out the old phone I tried to look if my iCloud storage had the photos and videos but it was lost there as well even tho it was all there saved up as well. Then I watched one of your videos and I downloded disk drill it says that there was like 15k photos and 1,5k videos found but the photos and videos are from iMessage that I send or was sent to me but none from my photo gallery, and the photos that disk drill found mostly was files that had images that were destroyed like it had no image or like a weird emoji, and logos (I don’t know how to explain) but it was stuff I never downloaded. I don’t know what to do those photos and videos were my youth and my childhood pls if there is a way to help let me know or make a video about it.
Ps. My MacBook never changed I have had it since 2019 and I would always put my photos and videos there in photo gallery. My phone changed last spring (2023)

Surprising I found your video. Can I ask you something about recycle bin? By accident I deleted my recyle bin and I lost one word doc. that was in teh recycle bin. Can I get this back? I have to go to OS (C: ) is that just and then choose documents. And choose Recycle bin. After finished running how can I see a preview?
If you are scanning an SSD drive with the TRIM option (usually all system SSDs have it enabled), then you may not see the Recycle Bin and files with their original metadata.

HDD appears listed on startup of program for about half a second then disappears. Any thoughts?

@@cleverfiles No, the disk is not apparent at all in the disk manager or any indication of activity under device manager when connecting via USB . The only sign of it is very briefly; directly after starting Disk Drill then it disappears. Thanks for the reply.

Hi! When you recover your files, it's extremely important to select a destination different from the location where you lost the file to save the retrieved directory. Otherwise, the files may be overwritten.

The truth is that I have a pretty big problem and that is that I have a 4TB disk that has my information and then in a reinstallation of Windows with a supposed computer scientist he formatted the disk to change the format so that it would appear in Windows 11 and well nothing, I got it It also partitioned and there is a partition that does not exit... so can everything in this application? You can try using Disk Drill to scan your drive. If you can find and preview your files in the scan results, it is a guaranteed recovery.

I tried connecting my phones but the program doesn't detect it no matter what settings I use. Only sees my computer harddrive :(

I got the pro version and followed everything on a Mac (different video). Did the byte to byte backup and everything. Either it didn’t work or I’m just tech illiterate. I was trying to get the photos back from an old 32 gig flash drive I found. They were corrupted when they got on there so I feel it may be a lost cause but it was like 5 years of my life and I’d love to have em back. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I recently formatted an sd card on my camera the night after a wedding with many videos and photos, i have used disk drill and paid for the upgraded versions, I removed the sd immediately after formatting (do i did not overwrite the sd) when using disk drill i recovered all the photos plus more that i originally formatted and overwrite, but the videos although the files were recognized as accurate time stamps accurate bit-storage and even thumbnails i could preview disk drill gave me a low recovery chance, more so when i downloaded what was the files and tried to play them in multiple media players, (vlc and prism) none of them played as they had codec issues which i haven’t found to resolve. Do i have a chance in actually getting these very important videos back. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED 🙏

If your hard drive has a hardware malfunction, including bad sectors, then this might be the reason Disk Drill is taking longer than expected to complete the scan
@cleverfiles how do I fix the bad sectors. It's an old HDD from my old broken laptop... But it doesn't look damaged at all and also I was able to get it done in 3 hours the other day
