Yes, I remember running around the neighborhood up and down streets just because it was fun and so easy! Yep, youth is wasted on the young . That offended me as a kid but now in my early 60s I really realize how little I knew about how easy everything was to do then. Now I doubt I could climb a chain link fence to save my life back then I climbed up and over in less than a minute because I wanted to swim in the closed pool.

At 14 I weighed around 130 pounds, undeveloped, but wiry and strong for my size, and would run from a to b simply because I could get there quicker, thought little of it. Luckily I had a friend that was similar to me and we would challenge each other.
Now, five decades later and 50 pounds heavier I only do wind sprints and the occasional 300 yard shuffle, very stimulating at this point and luckily I can still move well…gonna keep it up for as long as I'm able. CHEERS!

I could watch this clip for hours. This beautiful specimen of a female athlete w her perfect form is so inspiring. She's a pleasure to watch. The orange shorts did well, cause her legs were short, but she still held her own. The one in the black shorts decided too late to turn on a burst of speed. I believe if they had a few more yards, she may have won the race. But kudos to blue shorts she's a beast!

When I was running the mile in high school, I always heard sprinters talking about the floating sensation you get when you hit your peak stride. Being a paced runner whose last quarter kick was good, but painfully slow compared to sprinters, I was always silently jealous, having never felt that. Then one night, when I was suddenly confronted by some dangerous people who chased me, my adrenalin kicked in and I just took off. I was terrified, but got away. Afterwards, feeling relieved, I reized that I had finally felt it.Its real, and you can't feel your feet hitting the pavement. You literally feel like you're flying. Yes, but scandinavia is a region, and the vikings came from that region, so those are facts and accurate. As is that Vikings spread throughout Europe. But it has nothing to do with having a or the Danish nationality.

I'm no runner (I was a goalkeeper in every sport I played to avoid running 🤣), so I can't tell 8f that shoulder dip at the end was intentional or if she almost wiped out.
Like 30 years ago the last runner on my school's relay team wiped out at the Penn Relays. From the stands we thought she was dead. You'll never guess who came out onto the track, scraped her up and carried her off... Bill mf'in Cosby! We were like "wow, he's such a caring guy, that was so nice of him." 🤔 I wonder how she feels about him. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess even rapists have moments of grace- I'm sure he made that moment a little less devastating.

@@poutinedream5066 lol, I liked your story!
No, the dip is actually on purpose! I think it looks so cool how they all are going all out, and then right at the finish line they make one last burst, dip their chest out--- and then they all on almost synchronicity--- go into "all stop mode". The way they all are all going so fast that they even slowing down a little requires a ton of effort and ask their body to keep from totally face planting!
I can't stop watching the video. It gets better every loop

Yeah she not blow them others away. And just got the V in a close battle. Watching the smaller athletes with smaller legs was like watching a mouse on the spinning reel which I thought was more incredible to keep up with a much larger atlelete. Their legs just kept on winding so quick.
