My T7 came with a tank bag. I took it off after a week because I didn’t like the look. First ride without it I sat my wallet on the seat when leaving a shop/store and lost it on the way home. Tank bag is now reinstalled.

Ben, just a small piece of advice. You might want to put some 3m clear plastic tape on your tank and plastic where straps rub. When you go off road dust will get under the straps and really scuff your plastics and paint. The 3m clear tape comes off pretty easy as it wears. Easy to replace.

I know this a year old video. I just purchased my first motorcycle a 2024 KLR 650 Adventure ABS. Your description and demonstration was my deciding factor on purchasing the large. I did use your link. Thank You

Excellent review of the tank bag. Seeing the install, fuel fill, drive thru, convenience, etc. Good stuff! Then, the fancy feline enjoys a hot fresh burrito on the trail. You know how to make a person jealous.... Keep up the good work Ben, we appreciate what you do

Always take a tank bag. The SW Motech bags are great and easily changed with a quick release. It does however require and bike specific tank “ring” for each bike, but definitely worth the cost.

Just a hint, you only have to undo one strap to fill your tank. 😉👍

It's good to learn about the possible downsides of a tank bag. I've had some of the same reservations that you mentioned. Now I can see they're non-problems. It really is nice, during a ride, to be able to get to some items without dismounting. I still want to investigate the tank-ring mounted bags (and not have to mess with straps). Thank you!

I started riding with tank bags about 2 decades ago and I can't ride without one now. Any bike I get has to have one. I'm using the Oxford ring system and Reax bags now. Quick release and reconnect, and hold very well. No straps, no magnets. Super slick! There's a few companies that make them, but I don't know how they would hold up to a drop offroad. It did hold up to my deer hit low side though, so maybe?

Mmmm ... tacos! 🌮 Great video! That trail looks like the one I took yesterday. Muddy and slick.

Just ordered my tusk tank bag. Can’t wait to get it. Also shouldn’t have watched this video while I’m fasting. That burrito looks fineeeee!!!

Haven't ridden without a tankbag since 1982. Even got one for my hybrid bicycle. I am still amazed how far your front cam mount makes it look. It's like its 20 feet away.

I just installed the large version on my KTM 390 adv. yesterday. Even though the 390 is of smaller stature the bag doesn’t seem out of scale and was an easy install with no interference from the bars. Did a 20 mile test ride in the rain and the bag didn’t leak or get in my way at all! Rocky Mountain does have a great install video and less than great install instructions that are supplied with the bag! The third stretchy strap kinda threw me off until I watched the video.
