Saw the dates this morning and flipped out. Barring any unforeseen circumstances I’ll be at the kick off show in Budapest. I can’t wait to see what they bring out for this
@@TheCDGuyJZ can’t wait to see what they bring out for the stage show as well. Went from never seeing maiden to planning to see them twice in 8 months!
@@augustgeary5538 Seeing Maiden twice in 8 months is LIVING! The stage show should just be Eddie having an identity crisis and coming out as a different version of himself from all 9 albums throughout the show lol
I'd love if they add in lots of deep cuts, I'd love to see Strange World, Another Life, Prodigal Son, Purgatory, Invaders, Gangland, Sun And Steel, To Tame A Land, Flash Of The Blade, The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner, Deja Vu, Moonchild, Only The Good Die Young, Fates Warning, Mother Russia and Judas Be My Guide. I know most of those won't happen but that's my dream deep cut set.🤟🤟
Any of these would be excellent additions to the setlist… there’s a ton of music to chose from… hopefully Maiden go the deep cut route. I think they will. Now that Alexander has been played live, the next big one for me would be To Tame A Land… that would be incredible to hear live!
Set list predictions in album order: Iron Maiden and phantom of the opera (maybe running free or sanctuary) Murders in the rue morgue or killers (id kill for drifter) 22 acacia avenue and hallowed be thy name and number or hills The trooper and Still life or where eagles dare Powerslave or rime (probably not rime simply cause of time) Stranger in a strange land The evil that men do or only the good die young Tail gunner or bring your daughter Fear of the dark and afraid to shoot strangers Extra songs Revelations, children of the damned, die with your boots, total eclipse This isn’t my dream set but what I figure they might end up doing
@@TheCDGuyJZ agreed. I really hope they go all out with some deep cuts. I’d love to see stuff like the clairvoyant 22 acacia and back in the village. Not to mention all the Paul Dianno stuff they could do.
@@augustgeary5538 There are so many different ways they can go with this. I might lose my mind if they did 22 Acacia Avenue. Some of the Di'Anno stuff I'd love to hear: Phantom, Remember Tomorrow, Sanctuary, Murders In The Rue Morgue, etc.
I would like to hear the title track for Killers, Die With Your Boots On, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, Children Of The Damned, Tailgunner, Afraid To Shoot Strangers, Powerslave, Getting no SOTC, BB, TWOTW, will be totally fine with me. I’ll 100% be seeing them on the US leg.
That sounds like an awesome problem to have lol... when you're in the queue for tickets, just tell them "I'm not a number... I'm a free man!" Have a great time at the show!
1. Can I play with Madness 2. Wrathchild 3. Trooper 4. 2 Minutes to Midnight 5. Fear of the Dark 6. Number of the Beast 7 Aces High 8. Run to the Hils 9. Wasted Years 10. Hallowed Be Thy Name 11. Iron Maiden it's easy to predict the set list.
3:11 the fact their debut is nearing 50 and they still haven't been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is BS. 3:32 true, not to mention Senjutsu was recorded in 2019.
Yes it is retro tour but to be honest, that is the best period. I would like that they include X factor and Brave New World. Post Brave New World albums are kind of mehh.
I wish they’d do more from The X-Factor… There’s some really underrated stuff there. I’d love to hear Bruce’s vocals on The Aftermath or Blood On The World’s Hands. I love the post reunion stuff personally, but I’m also a bit biased because it’s the era of Maiden I grew up with.
looks like i will have to wait untill 2026 to see Metallica and Iron Maiden till they come to Cleveland it been a long time since they last came to Cleveland
I saw that Metallica just added new dates for the US… very cool. I saw them in 2023 and it was amazing! The closest show to me they’re playing in 2026 is Philly… might have to make the trip
We may get a live album from this tour in the meantime. Also, don’t forget how close Maiden play it, Senjutsu came pretty much out of nowhere ;-) You never know!
Maiden has just become very self indulgent in their older age. I like it, but I can see why some people might consider it meandering or boring. Priest’s new album is incredible… great year for new releases
no way bro...the songs book of souls, where the wild wind blows, hell on earth and the entire a matter of life and death album are miles beyond Bruce's solo stuff. Maiden have been a better band since brave new world than ever. So many people do not take the time to really listen because they cannot let go of the past. It's like idiots who think Gers can't play...lol...dudes a shredder and an amazing song writer. anyway UP THE IRONS FOREVER 🤘
I love it all… AMOLAD is my favorite Maiden album of all time. Book of Souls was great… fantastic record, special to me for being the first Maiden album I bought.
What are some tracks you want to hear performed live on the Run For Your Lives Tour? Let me know below!
Love to hear Total Eclipse.
That would be awesome! 🔥
I’m hoping for that one to make make an appearance as well
Seen the band twice and they never disappoint.
They’re always great!
To Tame a Land would be totally epic.
And i i will definitely be seeing them next year up the IRONS
Yes yes yes. If I’m going to see Iron Maiden once, then it’ll be this 50th anniversary. I’ll be trying to go to the Birmingham gig
Awesome! Have a great time! This is going to be a killer show for sure 🔥
@@TheCDGuyJZ fingers crossed I will get a ticket, hopefully.
Up Iron Maiden 🤘🎸

Pre sales next week, starting when I am actually seeing Iron Maiden in Osaka. How can I concentrate on buying tickets during The Prisoner

Charlotte the harlot, Strange World, Prodigal Son.

Crazy that Senjutsu was stalled by a full year. I agree, the Rock Hall is a joke!
The debut is 45, not 50. The founding of the band happened in 75 but the debut was only on 80. Even the Soundhouse Tapes was in 79.
@@mikatu I didn't said the debut is now 50, I said the debut is NEAR 50.

This is great news but almost certainly means no new album until late ‘26, at best. And that’s disappointing.

BRUCE'S SOLO ALBUM WAS MORE CONCISE THAN THE LAST FEW IRON MAIDEN ALBUMS WHICH HAVE BEEN LONG AND SOMETIMES KINDA BORING.
Yeah the last few albums have been a bit polarizing with the band going more prog... I really dig it tho. Bruce's solo album is my album of the year.
