If I were to guess, I’d say that they’d play “Tailgunner” from NPFtD, the first line of the song is literally “Trace your way back 50 years”, so it would be a great fit (although maybe I’m reading too much into things)
People said that about Dream of mirrors on the future past tour aswell since they sing that line, i doubt there will be any NPFD songs played if any it`s bring your daughter to the slaughter.
I think that is the one No Prayer song that makes the cut. Nothing else is really strong enough and I really don't think they will play Bring Your Daughter...
My prediction/proposal for a setlist: - Aces High - Killers - Be Quick or Be Dead - Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter - The Clairvoyant - Revelations - Murders in the Rue Morgue - The Number of the Beast - The Evil That Men Do - Die With Your Boots On - Deja-Vu - Phantom of the Opera - 2 Minutes to Midnight - Fear of the Dark - Rime of the Ancient Mariner - The Trooper - Iron Maiden Encores: - Run to the Hills - Running Free - Hallowed be Thy Name Plenty of classics, a couple of tracks they haven't played in 20-30 years and one never played track (as I do think they'll be playing something from the Somewhere in Time album, but not a song they're playing on the current tour). If Wrathchild is going to be played, I would put that as second song, move Killers to the spot of Murders in the Rue Morgue and drop that song.
My prediction/ wishlist For the intro: Transylvania Doctor Doctor For the main setlist (in no particular order) -Run To The Hills -Phantom Of The Opera -Running Free -Infinite Dreams -Killers -The Trooper -Fear Of The Dark -Iron Maiden -Rime Of The Ancient Mariner -Wasted Years -BYDTTS -Hallowed Be Thy Name -Powerslave -The Evil That Men Do -Wasting Love -Still Life It's not of much use to speculate, but still a lot of fun. Would love for them to do a 17/ 18 song setlist, but given their age and Nicko's health issues, i think 16 is more likely. Would love to be proven wrong though
Great setlist! Infinite Dreams would be so killer with Bruce’s modern vocals. I wanted 16 songs in my Setlist too, but I couldn’t figure out which ones to remove lol
That set is a bit boring. I would enjoy anyway but no new songs live nor surprises. No 22 Acacia, no Children of the Damned, no Alexander.... well, that would be a very uninspired set.
@@mikatu as much as i would love for them to do it, i sadly doubt they'll be playing Alexander, since they just did the majority of SiT on the Future Past tour. Would love to be proven wrong though, either with Alexander or Children Of The Damned And i (personally) think Infinite Dreams and Still Life would be massive surprises, considering they haven't been played live since 1988 But i respect your opinion
My idea for the Set List 2025 1: Phantom of the Opera 2: Prowler 3: Another Life 4: 22 Acacia Avenue 5: Remember Tomorrow 6: Sun and Steel 7: Back in the Village 8: Sea of Madness 9: Infinite Dreams 10: Rime of the Ancient Mariner 11: Holy Smoke 12: Wasting Love 13: Iron Maiden Encore 14: Run to the Hills 15: Number of the Beast 16: From Here to Eternity Encore 2: 17: Running Free
Slavery tour + Maiden England + Fear + Afraid to shoot strangers setlist ( without repeating songs of course) = show to fell buzzing in your ears and happiness for next at least 20 years
1. Prowler 2. Bring me your daughter 3. Wrathchild 4. Afraid to shoot strangers 5. Wasting love 6. Infinite Dreams 7. To tame a Land 8. Rime of the ancient mariner Killers .Hallowed be thy name Phantom of the opera Run to the hills Running free
Intro 1. Ides of march 2. Wrathchild 3. Phantom of the Opera 4. Strange World 5. Charlotte the harlot 6. Prisoner 7. Revelations 8. To tame a land 9. 2 Minutes to midnight 10. Rime of the ancient mariner 11. Sea of Madness 12. Stranger in a strange land 13. Infinite Dreams 14. The evil that men do 15. Judas be my guide 16. Number of the beast 17. Run to the hills 18. Fear of the dark 19. Wasted years 20. Iron Maiden ☝🏻
That would be cool. Bruce didn’t seem super motivated during that tour (He seemed mentally checked out of Maiden by 1993)… I’d love to hear that Setlist with his modern vocals
1. Doctor Doctor 2. Murders on the Rue Morgue 3. Running Free 4. Children of the Damned 5. Phantom of the Opera 6. Flight of Icarus 7. 22 Acacia Avenue 8. Killers 9. Total Eclipse 10. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner 11. Still Life 12. Wrathchild (13. The Duellists) (14. Deja Vu) 15. Infinite Dreams 16. Die with your Boots on 17. Fear of the Dark 18. Wasted Years 19. Iron Maiden ENCORE 20. Where Eagles Dare 21. Sanctuary 22. Only the Good die young 23. Hallowed be thy Name I think its a little to long, so i can shorten it for the Songs The Duellists and Deja Vu
My setlist for the upcoming tour would be: 01 Moonchild 02 Stranger In A Strange Land 03 Phantom Of The Opera 04 Killers 05 Powerslave 06 Judas Be My Guide 07 The Prisoner 08 Revelations 09 Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 10 Infinite Dreams 11 Only The Good Die Young 12 The Number Of The Beast 13 Fear Of The Dark - - - - Encores: - - - - 14. Hallowed Be Thy Name 15. Medley: Prowler & Iron Maiden 16. The Trooper 17. Run To The Hills
I doubt they’ll play any of the songs from the current tour on the upcoming tour… what would be the point of that? They’ll play the classics and throw in a couple of deep cuts… DeJa Vu, Sun and Steel? but knowing Maiden it will be horses for courses. Number of the Beast back in; Hallowed be Thy Name back in; Run To The Hills back in. There’s not a cats chance in hell they omit Fear of the Dark or Iron Maiden though. I’d love them to play more deep cuts but that won’t excite the newbies so there needs to be balance. Wasting Love is utter dross and shouldn’t be anywhere near the set as is From Here to Eternity. 😊
Intro - The Ides of March 1. Innocent Exile 2. Phantom of the Opera 3. Be Quick Quick or be Dead 4. From Here to Eternity 5. Infinite Dreams 6. Losfer Words 7. Flash of the Blade 8. The Duellists 9. Back in the Village 10. Rime of the Ancient Mariner 11. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner 12. Deja Vu 13. Sun and Steel 14. To Tame a Land 15. Total Eclipse 16. Running Free 17. Run To The Hills
My guess would be the following: 1). Be Quick or be Dead or Tailgunner 2). The Number of the Beast 3). Wrathchild 4). Revelations 5). Can I Play With Madness 6). The Trooper 7). Rime of the Ancient Mariner 8). The Evil that Men Do 9). Phantom of the Opera 10). Fear of the Dark 11). Bring Your Daughter 12). The Clairvoyant 13). Heaven Can Wait 14). Run to the Hills 15). 2 Minutes to Midnight 16). Iron Maiden ENCORE 17). Hallowed Be Thy Name 18). Sanctuary 19). Running Free I think that the list will be something pretty similar to FOTD tour, also, let’s take into account that Maiden sometimes does setlists based in classic live albums, they already did a Setlist based in Live After Death (SBIT 2008/09), and Maiden England (2012/14), so according to the order the next album would be Donnington 92, so the setlist would be something similar to that live album.
I had the same thought as you! I love the album FOTD and this tour in '92-93 was a dream! Just, replace The Clairyant by Afraid To Shoot Strangers, Can I Play With Madness by Infinite Dreams and finally, Heaven Can Wait by Wasted Years, and your setlist will be perfect! Thanks for highlightning this 🤘
I think it’s fair to say they’re going to do at least one song from each of those nine albums. Also I think Fear of the Dark, Number of the Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Iron Maiden are locks. So here’s my prediction/hopes for the setlist in no particular order: Fear of the Dark Iron Maiden Number of the Beast Hallowed Be Thy Name Phantom of the Opera Killers Children of the Damned Run To The Hills Die With Your Boots On Still Life Moonchild Infinite Dreams Aces High Rime of the Ancient Mariner Stranger In A Strange Land Tailgunner
Awesome setlist! Great calls with Still Life and Die With Your Boots On. I can definitely see Stranger In A Strange Land staying in the setlist since it's one of Bruce's favorite Maiden songs.
Another one Iron maiden always played Running free Prowler Killers Murders in the rue morgue Drifter Run to the hills Invaders hallowed be thy name Still life Die with your boots on Rime of the ancient mariner Loneliness of a long distant runner Deja- vu Only the good die young Moon child Bring your daughter to the slaughter Holy smoke Be quick or be dead To tame a land Tailgunner
01. Tailgunner 02. Wrathchild 03. Afraid to Shoot Strangers 04. Losfer Words (Big' Orra) 05. The Trooper 06. Infinite Dreams 07. To Tame a Land 08. Phantom of the Opera 09. The Clairvoyant 10. Fear of the Dark 11. Iron Maiden - - - 12. The Number of the Beast 13. Hallowed Be Thy Name 14. Drifter - - - 15. Run to the Hills
Be Quick or be Dead, ( or murders in the Rue Morgue as opener) Wrathchild, 2 minutes to midnight, Prowler, No prayer fo the dying, the Evil that men Do, Afraid to shoot strangers, To tame a Land , Powerslave, Phantom of the Opera,, Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden. Encore: Hallowed be the Name, Run ti the Hills, Sanctuary.
Here is my dream setlist for the 2025 tour 'Run For Your Lives World Tour' : Doctor Doctor (UFO song) (on tape) Transylvania (on tape) 01. Tailgunner (the first line is "Trace your way back in 50 years") 02. Be Quick Or Be Dead 03. Wrathchild 04. 2 Minutes To Midnight 05. Revelations 06. The Trooper 07. Phantom Of The Opera (it is obliged to be played, it is in the trailer) 08. Infinite Dreams (it is high requested) 09. Afraid To Shoot Strangers (they must it play..., it's one of their best "live" songs) 10. Fear Of The Dark 11. Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter 12. Hallowed Be Thy Name 13. The Number Of The Beast 14. Iron Maiden Encore: Churcill's Speech (on tape) 15. Aces High 16. The Evil That Men Do /or/ Wasted Years (I can't choose...) 17. Run To The Hills (it's the title of the tour so, they will played, sure) I know To Tame A Land and Deja Vu are high requested but I don't think Iron Maiden will play they, because they aren't best songs from Piece Of Mind and Somewhere In Time albums, and I don't a great fan of these songs... I hesitated to put Rime Of The Ancient Mariner in the setlist but there are already 2 songs from Powerslave, and it is too long. I would love to hear Children Of The Damned, Flight Of Icarus, Wasting Love, Running Free, Judas Be My Guide, Killers, 22 Acacia Avenue, Murders In The Rue Morgue... but you can't put everything... In any case, it's a very good setlist, continue like this 🤘
1. Murders in the Rue Morgue 2. Wrathchild 3. Run to the Hills 4. Infinite Dreams 5. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 6. The Trooper 7. Sun and Steel 8. Rime of the Ancient Mariner 9. Bring your Daughter…To the Slaughter 10. Phantom of the Opera 11. Alexander the Great 12. Fear of the Dark 13. Iron Maiden Encore 14. The Number of the Beast 15. The Clairvoyant 16. Running Free
My dream setlist (in no particular order): 1. Ides of March 2. Wrathchild 3. Killers 4. Phantom. 5. Remember Tomorrow 6. Children of the Damned 7. Hallowed. 8. Revelations. 9. Die With Your Boots On. 10. Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. 11. Flash of the Blade. 12. Deja Vu. 13. Moonchild. 14. The Clairvoyant. 15. Only the Good Die Young. 16. Bring Your Daughter... 17. Be Quick or be Dead. 18. Fear of the Dark. What I would lose my shit over because I've never seen live: Mariner, Moonchild and Clairvoyant. If they did Deja Vu that would also be unbelievable! Do not want (as already done on the LOTB tour) Number of the Beast, Trooper. Here's hoping but whatever the setlist, I aim to be at Birmingham and Manchester next year for back to back nights of Maiden bliss!
My prediction; 1. Be Quick or Be Dead 2. Wrathchild 3. 2 Minutes to Midnight 4. Infinite Dreams 5. Killers 6. NOTB 7. Rime of the Ancient Mariner 8. Phantom of the Opera 9. Heaven Can Wait 10. To tame a land 11. Bring your daughter to slaughter 12. FOTD 13. Iron Maiden Encore: 1. Aces High 2. Hallowed be Thy Name 3. Run to the hills. Note: If it wasn't their first nine albums and any from Iron Maiden - Senjutsu my list would be; (In no particular order) 1. Satellite 15 the Final Frontier 2. The Longest Day 3. Speed of light 4. The Talisman 5. Sign of the Cross 6. Como Estais Amigos 7. The Trooper 8. Stratego 9. Dance of Death 10. Rainmaker 11. The Clansman 12. Wicker Man 13. Iron Maiden Encore: 1. Empire of the Clouds 2. Where Eagles Dare 3. Run to the Hills.
You have interesting predictions, but they do 15 songs nowadays, and realistically it will probably be have these songs (not in order): 1. Phantom Of The Opera 2. Iron Maiden 3. Wrathchild 4. The Number Of The Beast 5. Run To The Hills 6. Hallowed Be Thy Name 7. The Trooper 8. Aces High 9. 2 Minutes To Midnight 10. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 11. Wasted Years 12. Alexander The Great 13. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (Not sure) 14. No Prayer For (Not Sure) 15. Fear Of The Dark
I wouldn’t mind this. I’d love to hear Seventh Son and Phantom live. For some reason I don’t foresee them keeping Alexander after this tour, but I hope I’m wrong.
@@TheCDGuyJZ That was me hoping they'd keep it, because I still haven't heard it live, haha. But, I can't even get tickets because they sold out so fast, so there's that... :/
@@TheCDGuyJZ I managed to score some with some dumb luck. Thanks buddy, keep up the cool content! It was very refreshing to see someone talk about setlists for once, because it's just usually me just writing predictions on my phone 😅
Songs I think are must-play deepcuts on this tour: Judas Be My Guide Rime of the Ancient Mariner To Tame a Land The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner Where Eagles Dare Remember Tomorrow Only The Good Die Young (or) Infinite Dreams Killers Total Eclipse The Fugitive (or) Childhood's End Songs I absolutely DON'T want to hear this tour cuz they don't need to be played to give room to other songs: The Trooper Aces High 2 Min to Midnight Iron Maiden Run to the Hills (99% Sure this'll be played considering the tour title) Can I Play With Madness
Totally agree on these deep cuts… these would all be killer. I don’t need to hear the hits either… the only live staple I actually want is Hallowed Be Thy Name, but there will be others. I never need to hear Can I Play With Madness again.
No particular order just a list Iron maiden Running free Sanctuary Killers Innocent exile Purgatory Number of the beast Run to the hills Rime of the ancient mariners Flash of the blade Sun and steel Die with your boots on Deja - vu Loneliness of a long distant runner Only the good die young Bring your daughter to the slaughter Holy smoke Fear of the dark Be quick or be dead Infinite dreams
I don’t see the setlist being too much different than Somewhere Back in Time except for a few chestnuts like: To Tame a Land, Die With Your Boots On, Infinite Dreams, Killers, or Deja Vu.
They can only do so many songs, so with that in mind, I believe it would be ideal if they PASSED on at least some of the songs that they ALWAYS play, like Iron Maiden. It's a good song, but honestly they easily have way too many songs that are much better. I know Run to the Hills is played to death, but at least that's a much better song. As is Fear of the Dark. In my opinion they do an injustice to their fans to not play Hallowed Be Thy Name and Rime of the Ancient Mariner at every concert, both of them absolutely need to be in this concert setlist. Also Phantom of the Opera thankfully will be played. Some of the songs that come to mind that I really hope they include are 22 Acacia Avenue, To Tame A Land, Where Eagles Dare, Powerslave, Children of the Damned. I also would love it if they played Gangland as a lead in to Hallowed Be Thy Name. I feel it sets up the best heavy metal song perfectly. I hope they do a live album from this tour.
I completely agree. I could go a tour without hearing Iron Maiden (although now that you mention it, it'll probably be there), Trooper, FOTD, etc. Hallowed Be Thy Name is the only recurring classic that is an absolute MUST in my opinion. Looking forward to a decent balance of deep cuts on this tour. I'm sure they'll put out a live album... We've gotten one for nearly every tour since the reunion.
My guess .... First Maiden lately plays 15 or 16 songs when there are long songs in the set. In chronologic order, the setorder will be different. 1. iron maiden (ofcourse) 2. phantom of the opera (we hear it in the promo) 3. Running free (we see the streets of the single cover in the promo) 4. Killers (we see Eddie with the axe on the tourposter and Bruce once said he wanted that song again in the set) 5. Number of the beast (ofcourse ...) 6. Run to the hills ( run for your lives ...) 7. Hallowed be thy name (ofcourse) 8. The trooper (ofcourse) 9. Die with your Boots On (on legacy of the beast tour they played a lott of Piece of Mind, so I think that besides the trooper they will do a 2nd song of that album they did not play during LotB) 10. Rime of the ancient mariner (indeed Bruce talked about it, and because it takes 13 minutes no other song from powerslave will be played, we had the 2 singles during LotB tour, and the title track during BoS tour) 11. Wasted years ( the only song from SiT because they played many songs of that album during FP tour and the lyrics of wasted years fit the 50th anniversity well) 12. infinite dreams (many fans request this song) 13. Only the good die young (indeed Steve Harris mentioned it) 14. Bring your daughter to the slaughter (the NPftD album is not so popular, so they take one song and this one was a nr1 hit in the UK) 15. Fear of the dark (ofcourse) 16. Afraid to shoot strangers (to have a second song from FofD, because only the title track isn't enough for this tour, and the song is still actual with the war in Ukraine and the Middle East).
The last time they tried it was the AMOLAD tour. It didn’t go over well, which is a shame because it’s my favorite Maiden album… I would’ve loved that personally.

The prowler Wrathchild The Number of the beast Revelations 2 minutes to midnight Wasted Years Infinite Dreams Holy Smoke Afraid to shoot strangers The phantom of the opera Killers The trooper Rime of the aincent mariner Stranger in a strange land The evil that men do Bring your daughter to the slaughter ENCORE Fear of the dark Hallowed be thy name Iron Maiden
I don't think there will be too many deep cuts on this tour. I think Phantom Of The Opera and possibly Running Free from Iron Maiden get played (with Iron Maiden the song of course). I don't see Prowler making it because of the lyrics. As for other stuff, I think it will be hits and well known songs heavy, think the Somewhere Back In Time tour set list with a few tweaks they are not booking a London stadium show to play To Tame A Land and Judas Be My Guide. This does look like it's being billed as classic era greatest hits set list, it's been a long time since they have gone out and just played all the hits in one show and I think this tour will be it.
I can definitely see an emphasis on the early stuff. Legacy of the Beast was just a greatest hits tour tho, so I hope there’s a little more variety than just the expected songs.
The best thing about your setlist is that it doesn't include the track, Iron Maiden. Would love to see a show where they didn't play that song, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen.
In no particular order, 1 Running Free 2 Phantom of the Opera 3 Wrathchild 4 Killers 5 NOTB 6 Run to the Hills 7 Hallowed Be Thy Name 8 Acacia Ave 9 Trooper 10 Still Life 11 Aces 12 2 Minutes 13 Wasted Years 14 Evil That Men Do 15 Can I Play With Madness 16 Bring Your Daughter... 17 No Prayer For The Dying 18 Be Quick... 19 Fear Of The Dark 20 Iron Maiden Can I Play could be traded out with Tailgunner
I made up my dream setlist for this tour last night, it's similar to yours in a lot of ways. Here's mine : 1. Invaders 2. Revelations 3. Only The Good Die Young 4. 22 Acacia Avenue 5. The Trooper 6. Flash Of The Blade 7. Deja Vu 8. Judas Be My Guide 9. Strange World 10. Sun And Steel 11. Tailgunner 12. Prodigal Son 13. Fear Of The Dark 14. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 15. Killers 16. Wasted Years 17. Run To The Hills Encore Set : 18. Moonchild 19. Running Free 20. Hallowed Be Thy Name 21. Iron Maiden
That would be a setlist they wouldn't play, like ever! They are going to play mainly songs they already played live in recent years. One new song would be amazing.
not what i'd like it to be but surely what we'll be getting... 1- aces high / moonchild 2- holy smoke 3- stranger in a strange land / revelations / from here to eternity 4- wrathchild / remember tomorrow 5- the trooper 6- judas be my guide / deja vu 7- killers 8- phantom of the opera 9- afraid to shoot strangers 10- bring your daughter 11- fear of the dark 12- number of the beast 13- iron maiden ENCORE 14- the evil that men do 15- wasted years / prowler 16- run to the hills
@@TheCDGuyJZ yeah, that's my point of saying not what i'd like to hear, since i see this as realistic but i'd like more deep cuts like some songs you mentioned or others like public enema, tailgunner, sun and steel, infinite dreams, to name a few
Prowler Wrathchild Run To The Hills Die With Your Boots On 2 Minutes To Midnight Phantom Of The Opera The Evil That Men Do To Tame A Land The Trooper Killers Number Of The Beast Rime Of The Ancient Mariner Fear of the Dark Iron Maiden Encore: Hallowed Be Thy Name Wasted Years Only The Good Die Young Run time 1h 37. @fullmetalmonkey9410 44 minutes ago Here is my Setlist, probably never going to happen completely but the anticipation is real high. Nice setlist, three songs from some albums and only one from some others is not gonna happen. My dream setlist is with Infinite Dreams and at least one song co written by Murray. The guy has been the most loyal to Harris
I’d love to hear Infinite Dreams. It’s possible they weight one or two albums heavier than others… I’m sure a lot of my setlist is just a shot in the dark tho
I think deja vu, will make a appearance as Bruce made reference to the song in Manchester uk and everyone went crazy for it. Replace it with wasting love.
@@jasongnrfan7374 I've seen them four times so far. Once on the Book Of Souls tour and 3 times on Legacy Of The Beast... I'll be seeing them twice later this year.
Well, this apparently is your "fantasy set" which I do respect. But don´t agree with many. First of all, they NEVER end the basic set with anything else except "Iron Maiden". Never will. Also even if I want also, I highly doubt they´re doing THAT much fanservice for hardcore fans. I think couple surprises will come but not that much as you put there. But I do believe the focus will be on first two albums and NPFTD and FOTD albums. I actually think, we´re not going to get one song from SIT, just because of Future past tour is still on going. Here´s my prediction: 1. Be quick or be dead 2. Wrathchild 3. Holy smoke 4. The evil that men do 5. To tame a land 6. Phantom of the opera 7. The trooper 8. The clairvoyant 9. Killers (During the tour they will change this to Murders in the rue morgue at some point) 10. Judas be my guide 11. Rime of the ancient mariner 12. Bring your daughter to the slaughter 13. Fear of the dark 14. Iron Maiden Encores: 15. Number of the beast (during the tour, they will change this to Hallowed be thy name at some point) 16. Run to the hills 17. Running free
It’s my fantasy set that I was trying to keep somewhat realistic. This is a very strong set as well. They probably will do Iron Maiden, although I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t
@@TheCDGuyJZ And yeah, the title track could be erased from existence already. It´s really a bad song. Also I wouldn´t mind if they didn´t play 666, FOTD, 2 minutes or RTTH also. Heard those too much already.
Yeah I tried to stop at 16, but I didn’t know which songs to take out lol They’ll most likely do Iron Maiden, although I can manage without it for one tour if it means some lesser played DiAnno era stuff makes the cut.
just got a Helloween Keeper of the Seven Keys 1987 tour shirt got it when i was on vacation in Myrtle Beach at the Retro Active store has lots of old school band shirts and cds etc from the 70s and 80s worth checking out if you ever go there
People keep talking about Rime, but that is not going to happen. Yes, the song is great, but it is too long and would force to remove two or three other songs. That is not going to happen. Also, they could do the trilogy of Charlotte and it would make sense to play the songs in order, four even if Hooks on you is really about her, even if not confirmed until now. Not my dream setlist, but probably close to what we will get: "Transylvania" (from Iron Maiden, 1980) as intro "Phantom of the Opera" (from Iron Maiden, 1980) "Prowler" (from Iron Maiden, 1980) "Murders in the Rue Morgue" (from Killers, 1981) "The Trooper" (from Piece of Mind, 1983) "Where Eagles Dare" (from Piece of Mind, 1983) "Run to the Hills" (from The Number of the Beast, 1982) "Hallowed Be Thy Name" (from The Number of the Beast, 1982) "Powerslave" (from "Powerslave, 1984) "Alexander the great" (from Somewhere in Time, 1986) "Moonchild" (from SSOTSS, 1988) "Clairvoyant" (from SSOTSS, 1988) "Tailgunner" (from No Prayer, 1990) "Affraid to Shoot Strangers" (from FOTD, 1992) "Iron Maiden" (from Iron Maiden, 1980) Encore "Fear of the Dark" (from FOTD, 1992) "Wasted Years" (From Somewhere in Time, 1986) "Sanctuary" (from Iron Maiden, 1980)
@@TheCDGuyJZ it’s an amazing song yes, and hadn’t been played for years, but I honestly wasn’t expecting hallowed on future past, as they specifically said they were already playing much longer songs and deep cuts from the two albums, which didn’t really leave much room for Hallowed
I’d be really surprised to hear Only the Good Die Young. It’s never been played live before and with the exception of Alexander the Great, if a wasn’t played during its album tour, it hasn’t been played. Also Iron Maiden will most likely be in the Setlist as it’s their theme song. I’d love to hear Too Tame a Land and Killers. Was disappointed they weren’t played during the Early Years tour. Will also be surprised if there is more then one song from Somewhere in Time as they’re playing a large chunk of the album during the Futures Past tour. I think Run to the Hills, Beast and Hallowed will make a return as they aren’t played during the Futures Past tour.
If they have to play anything from NPFTD then please let it be Tailgunner and not BYDTTS. Personally I hope they play nothing from FOTD (my least favourite Maiden album) but I guess they’ll play the title track as usual.

I feel they should have just went with the first 5 albums, rather than the first nine. For many, that is hands down their best stuff. Also, they are doing Somewhere in Time right now anyway. And I feel like most people probably agree that Fear of the Dark isn't a very good album anyway, the title track saves that album IMO, nobodies heart will break if the rest of the songs aren't played and FOTD is ALWAYS played. Leave it out this time please. Great song, but there are other songs people want to hear. Maybe they wanted to include Seventh Son, well then maybe they should've just included the first 7 albums and just play one song from SIT. I like the album NPFTD but my life won't feel incomplete if I don't hear any of those songs live. Powerslave is not my favorite Iron Maiden album but I feel the songs from that album are SO MAJORLY underplayed.
I hear you. They already did a tour of the first five about 20 years ago. This tour is pretty much an expansion of that, which makes me wonder which albums they'll put the most emphasis on.
wrong, they already did the first 4 albums in Eddie Rips Up the World Tour and then the first 7 with FOTD included for some reason in Somewhere Back In Time Tour. Now we will move forward with the first 9 because they should release the next chapter of the History of the band DVD series.
None of them. Trooper, NOTB, run to the hills, minutes to midnight, wrathchild....the same old songs plus one ir two "new" ones. It's a big mistake to include only 20 years in a so called 50 years tour
I really hope it’s not just a rehashed Legacy of the Beast set all over again, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you were spot on with this. I feel like they’re only calling it 50 years because they probably won’t be touring by 2030 to celebrate the debut.
@@TheCDGuyJZ You keep talking about the Legacy as if that was a big tour. This tour is similar to the Early Years /Eddie Rips Up the World Tour not legacy of the beast.
What is your dream setlist for the Run For Your Lives Tour? Let me know below!
I wanna "No prayer for the dying", "Fugitive" "Childhood's end"
It would be very cool to hear that kind of variety in the setlist. Hopefully they pull out deep cuts!
If I were to guess, I’d say that they’d play “Tailgunner” from NPFtD, the first line of the song is literally “Trace your way back 50 years”, so it would be a great fit (although maybe I’m reading too much into things)
Tailgunner would be cool! With Maiden you can never read too far into things lol
Given that it is one of the good songs in No Prayer would make sense. I really hope they don't pick the Holly Smoke.
@@petebrad2971 great track
Nice Setlist Johnny. Guess we'll have to wait and see!!!
Thanks! Really looking forward to the official Setlist reveal on the first show… hopefully I wasn’t way off lol
My prediction/proposal for a setlist:
- Aces High
- Killers
- Be Quick or Be Dead
- Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter
- The Clairvoyant
- Revelations
- Murders in the Rue Morgue
- The Number of the Beast
- The Evil That Men Do
- Die With Your Boots On
- Deja-Vu
- Phantom of the Opera
- 2 Minutes to Midnight
- Fear of the Dark
- Rime of the Ancient Mariner
- The Trooper
- Iron Maiden
Encores:
- Run to the Hills
- Running Free
- Hallowed be Thy Name
Plenty of classics, a couple of tracks they haven't played in 20-30 years and one never played track (as I do think they'll be playing something from the Somewhere in Time album, but not a song they're playing on the current tour).
If Wrathchild is going to be played, I would put that as second song, move Killers to the spot of Murders in the Rue Morgue and drop that song.
Great Setlist! I love Wrathchild, but I’d much rather hear Murders In The Rue Morgue too.
My prediction/ wishlist
For the intro:
Transylvania
Doctor Doctor
For the main setlist (in no particular order)
-Run To The Hills
-Phantom Of The Opera
-Running Free
-Infinite Dreams
-Killers
-The Trooper
-Fear Of The Dark
-Iron Maiden
-Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
-Wasted Years
-BYDTTS
-Hallowed Be Thy Name
-Powerslave
-The Evil That Men Do
-Wasting Love
-Still Life
It's not of much use to speculate, but still a lot of fun.
Wow your choices are almost my exact picks.
Would love to be proven wrong though, either with Alexander or Children Of The Damned
And i (personally) think Infinite Dreams and Still Life would be massive surprises, considering they haven't been played live since 1988
But i respect your opinion
My idea for the Set List 2025
1: Phantom of the Opera
2: Prowler
3: Another Life
4: 22 Acacia Avenue
5: Remember Tomorrow
6: Sun and Steel
7: Back in the Village
8: Sea of Madness
9: Infinite Dreams
10: Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11: Holy Smoke
12: Wasting Love
13: Iron Maiden
Encore
14: Run to the Hills
15: Number of the Beast
16: From Here to Eternity
Encore 2:
17: Running Free
Love this. Back In The Village would be crazy. I like this more than my setlist… great stuff!
Slavery tour + Maiden England + Fear + Afraid to shoot strangers setlist ( without repeating songs of course) = show to fell buzzing in your ears and happiness for next at least 20 years
If they don't play Judas Be My Guide I'll be very disappointed, the fans deserve to see it live.
Underrated deep cut! Would be cool for sure 🔥
1. Prowler
2. Bring me your daughter
3. Wrathchild
4. Afraid to shoot strangers
5. Wasting love
6. Infinite Dreams
7. To tame a Land
8. Rime of the ancient mariner
Killers
.Hallowed be thy name
Phantom of the opera
Run to the hills
Running free
That’s pretty awesome! This set doesn’t let up from beginning to end!
Intro
1. Ides of march
2. Wrathchild
3. Phantom of the Opera
4. Strange World
5. Charlotte the harlot
6. Prisoner
7. Revelations
8. To tame a land

13. Infinite Dreams
14. The evil that men do
15. Judas be my guide
16. Number of the beast
17. Run to the hills
18. Fear of the dark
19. Wasted years
20. Iron Maiden
☝🏻
Great set! Love the idea of starting off with a bunch of DiAnno era tracks and closing the main set with a deep cut like Judas.
I think they will play the whole "A Real Live/Dead One" '93 set.
That would be cool. Bruce didn’t seem super motivated during that tour (He seemed mentally checked out of Maiden by 1993)… I’d love to hear that Setlist with his modern vocals
1. Doctor Doctor
2. Murders on the Rue Morgue
3. Running Free
4. Children of the Damned
5. Phantom of the Opera
6. Flight of Icarus
7. 22 Acacia Avenue
8. Killers
9. Total Eclipse
10. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
11. Still Life
12. Wrathchild
(13. The Duellists)
(14. Deja Vu)
15. Infinite Dreams
16. Die with your Boots on
17. Fear of the Dark
18. Wasted Years
19. Iron Maiden
ENCORE
20. Where Eagles Dare
21. Sanctuary
22. Only the Good die young
23. Hallowed be thy Name
I think its a little to long, so i can shorten it for the Songs The Duellists and Deja Vu
I’d love to see this live! Definitely a bit ambitious with 23 songs, but these are all great picks!
@@TheCDGuyJZ Yes you´re right - it´s a little bit ambitious - but why stop dreaming ? :-)
My setlist for the upcoming tour would be:
01 Moonchild
02 Stranger In A Strange Land
03 Phantom Of The Opera
04 Killers
05 Powerslave
06 Judas Be My Guide
07 The Prisoner
08 Revelations
09 Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
10 Infinite Dreams
11 Only The Good Die Young
12 The Number Of The Beast
13 Fear Of The Dark
- - - - Encores: - - - -
14. Hallowed Be Thy Name
15. Medley: Prowler & Iron Maiden
16. The Trooper
17. Run To The Hills
Love Moonchild being the opener! It would be really cool to get an early years Medley like you suggested in the encore. Great set!
We’re thinking the same about Rime! Altho I think Iron Maiden will be in its usual spot at the end of the main set after NOTB.
Intro - The Ides of March
1. Innocent Exile
2. Phantom of the Opera
3. Be Quick Quick or be Dead
4. From Here to Eternity
5. Infinite Dreams
6. Losfer Words
7. Flash of the Blade
8. The Duellists
9. Back in the Village
10. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
12. Deja Vu
13. Sun and Steel
14. To Tame a Land
15. Total Eclipse
16. Running Free
17. Run To The Hills
This is awesome! Love the emphasis on Powerslave… Losfer Words-Rime would be epic.
I wanna hear The Prophecy live...
Same! Great pick!
Great song without a doubt.
But I’d like to hear infinite dreams a little more!
My guess would be the following:
1). Be Quick or be Dead or Tailgunner
2). The Number of the Beast
3). Wrathchild
4). Revelations
5). Can I Play With Madness
6). The Trooper
7). Rime of the Ancient Mariner
8). The Evil that Men Do
9). Phantom of the Opera
10). Fear of the Dark
11). Bring Your Daughter
12). The Clairvoyant
13). Heaven Can Wait
14). Run to the Hills
15). 2 Minutes to Midnight
16). Iron Maiden
ENCORE
17). Hallowed Be Thy Name
18). Sanctuary
19). Running Free
I think that the list will be something pretty similar to FOTD tour, also, let’s take into account that Maiden sometimes does setlists based in classic live albums, they already did a Setlist based in Live After Death (SBIT 2008/09), and Maiden England (2012/14), so according to the order the next album would be Donnington 92, so the setlist would be something similar to that live album.
I’d be down for a FOTD tour tribute… that tour had a really cool Setlist. Love your song choices… I’d love to hear Sanctuary back in the set.
Thanks for highlightning this 🤘
@ You’re right!! The changes you are telling me are even better than what I’m guessing, the setlist would end very great!!
Btw: I also love FOTD album and tour!!
To tame a Land would feel like a lucid dream
Of the classic long tracks I saw Alexander and Seventh…
Rime and Tame are still on the bucket list
I think it’s fair to say they’re going to do at least one song from each of those nine albums. Also I think Fear of the Dark, Number of the Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Iron Maiden are locks. So here’s my prediction/hopes for the setlist in no particular order:
Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden
Number of the Beast
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Phantom of the Opera
Killers
Children of the Damned
Run To The Hills
Die With Your Boots On
Still Life
Moonchild
Infinite Dreams
Aces High
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Stranger In A Strange Land
Tailgunner
Awesome setlist! Great calls with Still Life and Die With Your Boots On. I can definitely see Stranger In A Strange Land staying in the setlist since it's one of Bruce's favorite Maiden songs.
Another one
Iron maiden always played
Running free
Prowler
Killers
Murders in the rue morgue
Drifter
Run to the hills
Invaders
hallowed be thy name
Still life
Die with your boots on
Rime of the ancient mariner
Loneliness of a long distant runner
Deja- vu
Only the good die young
Moon child
Bring your daughter to the slaughter
Holy smoke
Be quick or be dead
To tame a land
Tailgunner
Infinite dreams and sea of madness would be a dream
Agreed!
the trooper and hallowed be.... out from the next setlist, this songs appears at every tour, please more song from Killers
I can do without Trooper. Hallowed should always be there IMO… But I’d love to see them feature a whole bunch from Killers
01. Tailgunner
02. Wrathchild
03. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
04. Losfer Words (Big' Orra)
05. The Trooper
06. Infinite Dreams
07. To Tame a Land
08. Phantom of the Opera
09. The Clairvoyant
10. Fear of the Dark
11. Iron Maiden
- - -
12. The Number of the Beast
13. Hallowed Be Thy Name
14. Drifter
- - -
15. Run to the Hills
Tailgunner would be a fun opener! Great setlist!
No way they don't play Iron Maiden.
Yeah you're probably right.
Exactly that it’s the one song they’ve played every tour since 1980
Iron Maiden and Fear of The Dark are the only two certainties
Be Quick or be Dead, ( or murders in the Rue Morgue as opener) Wrathchild, 2 minutes to midnight, Prowler, No prayer fo the dying, the Evil that men Do, Afraid to shoot strangers, To tame a Land , Powerslave, Phantom of the Opera,, Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden. Encore: Hallowed be the Name, Run ti the Hills, Sanctuary.
These would all be killer (pun intended lol)
I really like the idea of Murders In The Rue Morgue opening the set.
I would love to hear Purgatory.
Great song!
ACES HIGH WILL BE THE OPENING SONG ALSO RUN TO THE HILLS WILL BE INCLUDED BECAUSE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES IS A SENTENCE FROM THIS SONG.
Aces High is the ultimate opener… I wouldn’t mind that. Run To The Hills is a shoe-in for sure.
Here is my dream setlist for the 2025 tour 'Run For Your Lives World Tour' :
Doctor Doctor (UFO song) (on tape)
Transylvania (on tape)
01. Tailgunner (the first line is "Trace your way back in 50 years")
02. Be Quick Or Be Dead
03. Wrathchild
04. 2 Minutes To Midnight
05. Revelations
06. The Trooper
07. Phantom Of The Opera (it is obliged to be played, it is in the trailer)
08. Infinite Dreams (it is high requested)
09. Afraid To Shoot Strangers (they must it play..., it's one of their best "live" songs)
10. Fear Of The Dark
11. Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter
12. Hallowed Be Thy Name
13. The Number Of The Beast
14. Iron Maiden
Encore:
Churcill's Speech (on tape)
15. Aces High
16. The Evil That Men Do /or/ Wasted Years (I can't choose...)
17. Run To The Hills (it's the title of the tour so, they will played, sure)
I know To Tame A Land and Deja Vu are high requested but I don't think Iron Maiden will play they, because they aren't best songs from Piece Of Mind and Somewhere In Time albums, and I don't a great fan of these songs...
In any case, it's a very good setlist, continue like this 🤘
Agreed you can’t add everything. This is a fantastic Setlist as is… great combo of classics and deep cuts… hopefully that’s what Maiden try to do.
LOL why not put 30 songs.... or even 40. Let them play until morning.
The set will have around 16 with Rime or 18 without it.
1. Murders in the Rue Morgue
2. Wrathchild
3. Run to the Hills
4. Infinite Dreams
5. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
6. The Trooper
7. Sun and Steel
8. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
9. Bring your Daughter…To the Slaughter
10. Phantom of the Opera
11. Alexander the Great
12. Fear of the Dark
13. Iron Maiden
Encore
14. The Number of the Beast
15. The Clairvoyant
16. Running Free
Love this set! Sun and Steel would be epic. I hope Alexander returns for this tour!
My dream setlist (in no particular order):
1. Ides of March
2. Wrathchild
3. Killers
4. Phantom.
5. Remember Tomorrow
6. Children of the Damned
7. Hallowed.
Love this setlist! Tracks 10-15 would be insane live especially in this order. Have a great time at those shows! 🤘
Good setlist, but honestly it’s more a wishlist than a prediction
I tried to make it a little bit of both. Some of these are a stretch for sure.
My prediction;
1. Be Quick or Be Dead
2. Wrathchild
3. 2 Minutes to Midnight
4. Infinite Dreams
5. Killers
6. NOTB
7. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
8. Phantom of the Opera
9. Heaven Can Wait
10. To tame a land
11. Bring your daughter to slaughter
12. FOTD
13. Iron Maiden
Encore:
1. Aces High
2. Hallowed be Thy Name
3. Run to the hills.
Note: If it wasn't their first nine albums and any from Iron Maiden - Senjutsu my list would be;
(In no particular order)
1. Satellite 15 the Final Frontier
2. The Longest Day
3. Speed of light
4. The Talisman
5. Sign of the Cross
6. Como Estais Amigos
7. The Trooper
8. Stratego
9. Dance of Death
10. Rainmaker
11. The Clansman
12. Wicker Man
13. Iron Maiden
Encore:
1. Empire of the Clouds
2. Where Eagles Dare
3. Run to the Hills.
Two awesome setlists here! I really like your second list… Speed Of Light, Longest Day, Talisman, Como Estais and Rainmaker would be so cool!
You have interesting predictions, but they do 15 songs nowadays, and realistically it will probably be have these songs (not in order):
1. Phantom Of The Opera
2. Iron Maiden
3. Wrathchild
4. The Number Of The Beast
5. Run To The Hills
6. Hallowed Be Thy Name
7. The Trooper
8. Aces High
9. 2 Minutes To Midnight
10. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
11. Wasted Years
12. Alexander The Great
13. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (Not sure)
14. No Prayer For (Not Sure)
Hope you get to hear it live! Maybe check online for tickets the day of the show.
@@TheCDGuyJZ I managed to score some with some dumb luck. Thanks buddy, keep up the cool content! It was very refreshing to see someone talk about setlists for once, because it's just usually me just writing predictions on my phone 😅
Songs I think are must-play deepcuts on this tour:
Judas Be My Guide
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
To Tame a Land
The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Where Eagles Dare
Remember Tomorrow
Only The Good Die Young (or) Infinite Dreams
Killers
Total Eclipse
The Fugitive (or) Childhood's End
Songs I absolutely DON'T want to hear this tour cuz they don't need to be played to give room to other songs:
The Trooper
Aces High
2 Min to Midnight
Iron Maiden
Run to the Hills (99% Sure this'll be played considering the tour title)
Can I Play With Madness
Totally agree on these deep cuts… these would all be killer. I don’t need to hear the hits either… the only live staple I actually want is Hallowed Be Thy Name, but there will be others. I never need to hear Can I Play With Madness again.
Drifter and sanctuary need to be on their just for those bits they do in the song
Great picks! I’d love to those in the set.
No particular order just a list
Iron maiden
Running free
Sanctuary
Killers
Innocent exile
Purgatory
Number of the beast
Run to the hills
Rime of the ancient mariners
Flash of the blade
Sun and steel
Die with your boots on
Deja - vu
Loneliness of a long distant runner
Only the good die young
Bring your daughter to the slaughter
Holy smoke
Fear of the dark
Be quick or be dead
Infinite dreams
Any order/combination of these would be incredible! They didn't do Deja Vu on the Future Past Tour... I'd love to hear it on the next one!
@@TheCDGuyJZ me too and loneliness of a long distant runner was played once ever and it was in beograd serbia so that one would be right up there
That would be killer! Such a great deep cut from Somewhere In Time 🔥
I don’t see the setlist being too much different than Somewhere Back in Time except for a few chestnuts like: To Tame a Land, Die With Your Boots On, Infinite Dreams, Killers, or Deja Vu.
I wouldn’t mind that at all as long as we hear some of the gems that you mentioned
Iron Maiden fits a service on the set. Shows the audience that the first half of the show is over
My guess ....
First Maiden lately plays 15 or 16 songs when there are long songs in the set.
In chronologic order, the setorder will be different.
1. iron maiden (ofcourse)
2. phantom of the opera (we hear it in the promo)
3. Running free (we see the streets of the single cover in the promo)
4. Killers (we see Eddie with the axe on the tourposter and Bruce once said he wanted that song again in the set)
5. Number of the beast (ofcourse ...)
6. Run to the hills ( run for your lives ...)
7. Hallowed be thy name (ofcourse)
8. The trooper (ofcourse)
9. Die with your Boots On (on legacy of the beast tour they played a lott of Piece of Mind, so I think that besides the trooper they will do a 2nd song of that album they did not play during LotB)
10. Rime of the ancient mariner (indeed Bruce talked about it, and because it takes 13 minutes no other song from powerslave will be played, we had the 2 singles during LotB tour, and the title track during BoS tour)
11. Wasted years ( the only song from SiT because they played many songs of that album during FP tour and the lyrics of wasted years fit the 50th anniversity well)
12. infinite dreams (many fans request this song)
13. Only the good die young (indeed Steve Harris mentioned it)
14. Bring your daughter to the slaughter (the NPftD album is not so popular, so they take one song and this one was a nr1 hit in the UK)
15. Fear of the dark (ofcourse)
16. Afraid to shoot strangers (to have a second song from FofD, because only the title track isn't enough for this tour, and the song is still actual with the war in Ukraine and the Middle East).
This would be an awesome set for sure! Love the idea of axe wielding Eddie running on stage during Killers
Since they are concentrating on specific albums, play an entire album. That would be great.
The last time they tried it was the AMOLAD tour. It didn’t go over well, which is a shame because it’s my favorite Maiden album… I would’ve loved that personally.
@@TheCDGuyJZamolad tour was sold out almost anywhere, saying that it didn`t go down well is far from the truth. Stockholm even got a third show added

Sick setlist! Holy Smoke would be a fun one to hear live!
I love the song, but I didn’t want to include it… like you said it’d be great to hear something else from the early years in that spot instead.
In no particular order,
1 Running Free
2 Phantom of the Opera

19 Fear Of The Dark
20 Iron Maiden
Can I Play could be traded out with Tailgunner
Great Setlist! I can definitely see this being the setlist. It’d be great to here Killers live.
@@TheCDGuyJZ Thank you very much! May be more of a dream setlist though...🥲
I made up my dream setlist for this tour last night, it's similar to yours in a lot of ways. Here's mine :
1. Invaders
2. Revelations
3. Only The Good Die Young
4. 22 Acacia Avenue
5. The Trooper
6. Flash Of The Blade
7. Deja Vu
8. Judas Be My Guide
9. Strange World
10. Sun And Steel
11. Tailgunner
12. Prodigal Son
13. Fear Of The Dark
14. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
15. Killers
16. Wasted Years
17. Run To The Hills
Encore Set :
18. Moonchild
19. Running Free
20. Hallowed Be Thy Name
21. Iron Maiden
Amazing Setlist! Great choice of deep cuts… Sun and Steel and Deja Vu would be incredible.
That would be a setlist they wouldn't play, like ever!
They are going to play mainly songs they already played live in recent years. One new song would be amazing.
@@mikatu It's fun to dream though. And a tour like this would be the perfect chance to get creative.
Run For Your Lives is what Falling in Reverse's new tour should've been named. 😆
That’s what the band do when they don’t have their laptops
not what i'd like it to be but surely what we'll be getting...
1- aces high / moonchild
2- holy smoke
3- stranger in a strange land / revelations / from here to eternity
4- wrathchild / remember tomorrow
5- the trooper
6- judas be my guide / deja vu
7- killers
8- phantom of the opera
9- afraid to shoot strangers
10- bring your daughter
11- fear of the dark
12- number of the beast
13- iron maiden
ENCORE
14- the evil that men do
15- wasted years / prowler
16- run to the hills
This is pretty realistic. I could totally see this happening. I wouldn’t be too disappointed either.
@@TheCDGuyJZ yeah, that's my point of saying not what i'd like to hear, since i see this as realistic but i'd like more deep cuts like some songs you mentioned or others like public enema, tailgunner, sun and steel, infinite dreams, to name a few
@@carzz185 I'm in the same boat. Those deep cuts would be awesome!
Prowler
Wrathchild
Run To The Hills
Die With Your Boots On
2 Minutes To Midnight
Phantom Of The Opera
The Evil That Men Do
To Tame A Land
The Trooper
Killers
Number Of The Beast
Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden
Encore:
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Wasted Years
Only The Good Die Young
Run time 1h 37. It might happen. I really want to hear Infinite Dreams an Still Life but i don't think its likely.
To Tame A Land! Great set! You can’t go wrong with a lot of these classics. 🔥
1.Total eclipse
2.prowler
3.charlotte the harlot
4.killers
5.Die with your boots on
6.flash of the blade
7.only the good die young
8.the evil that men do
9.the loneliness of the lone distance runner
10.bring your daughter
11.no prayer for the dying
12.infinite dreams
13.be quick or be dead
Great set! Total Eclipse would make for an awesome opener.

Here is my Setlist, probably never going to happen completely but the anticipation is real high. Very excited what they choose, I kinda like every song from that era.
1 The Ides of March
2 Prowler
3 Wrathchild
4 From Here to Eternity
5 Phantom of the Opera
6 The Number of the Beast
7 Killers
8 Flash of the Blade
9 Sun and Steel
10 Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11 Heaven Can Wait
12 The Evil That Men Do
13 Holy Smoke
14 The Trooper
15 Run to the Hills
16 Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter
17 Iron Maiden
ENCORE
18 Hallowed Be Thy Name
19 Wasted Years
20 Fear of the Dark
Great set! Flash of the Blade! I’d love it if this was the setlist! 🔥
I never need to hear wasted years ever again
Me neither tbh, but I’m assuming it will be in the set… I’d love to hear something else from Somewhere In Time instead tho
In no particular order i see the setlist containing
Running free
Iron maiden
Phantom of the opera
Wrathchild
Killers
Notb
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Run to the hills
Trooper
Sun and steel
Rime of the ancient mariner
Alexander the Great
Can i play with madness
Tailgunner
Holy Smoke
Bydtts
Fear of the Dark
Be quick or be dead
Sun And Steel! This would be killer!
That would be awesome! Had no idea Bruce mentioned it.
@@TheCDGuyJZ yeah he was chatting away and said “or would that be Deja Vu” and everyone thought they were going to play it.
@@adamclarke2820 that’s a hint for sure. With Maiden, nothing is just a coincidence
I am seeing them twice next year. London and Madrid ⚒️up the irons⚒️
@@adamclarke2820 Hell yeah! Have an awesome time! 🤘
Decsent setlst I live only the good die young I am hoping for Where Eagles dare
Where Eagles Dare is always great live! Really enjoyed hearing it return for Legacy of the Beast.
@@TheCDGuyJZ I missed that tour unfortanutly how times have you seen them
@@jasongnrfan7374 I've seen them four times so far. Once on the Book Of Souls tour and 3 times on Legacy Of The Beast... I'll be seeing them twice later this year.
Already played it
They came out with tailgunner man...
The poor man’s Aces High lol
Just kidding, that would be cool live for sure! 🔥
I wish they'd play Invaders.
I’d love to see that! Another great song from NOTB that doesn’t get talked about as much as it should.
No mate. I would love it too but they don't like the song for some reason.
There are plants of songs to choose from…
Yeah they have a massive sample size to pick from those 9 albums… hopefully they think outside of the box a bit
Yes mate!
I’d love to hear Judas…
This is a first class song and it features my favorite Davey Solo, he’s really on fire on the whole record.
Here´s my prediction:
1. Be quick or be dead
2. Wrathchild
3. Holy smoke
4. The evil that men do
5. To tame a land
6. Phantom of the opera
7. The trooper
8. The clairvoyant
9. Killers (During the tour they will change this to Murders in the rue morgue at some point)
10. Judas be my guide
11. Rime of the ancient mariner
12. Bring your daughter to the slaughter
13. Fear of the dark
14. Iron Maiden
Encores:
15. Number of the beast (during the tour, they will change this to Hallowed be thy name at some point)
16. Run to the hills
17. Running free
It’s my fantasy set that I was trying to keep somewhat realistic. This is a very strong set as well. They probably will do Iron Maiden, although I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t
@@TheCDGuyJZ Yeah, it´s cool man. I would love that set too.
@@TheCDGuyJZ And yeah, the title track could be erased from existence already. It´s really a bad song. Also I wouldn´t mind if they didn´t play 666, FOTD, 2 minutes or RTTH also. Heard those too much already.
Good setlist but it's 2 songs more than they will play and they always end the main set with Iron Maiden.
Yeah I tried to stop at 16, but I didn’t know which songs to take out lol
They’ll most likely do Iron Maiden, although I can manage without it for one tour if it means some lesser played DiAnno era stuff makes the cut.
Love your choices here dude! Unfortunately Maiden are not that creative 😅
Yeah the band probably aren’t going to be this ambitious lol
just got a Helloween Keeper of the Seven Keys 1987 tour shirt got it when i was on vacation in Myrtle Beach at the Retro Active store has lots of old school band shirts and cds etc from the 70s and 80s worth checking out if you ever go there
So cool! I'll have to keep that store in mind. That was a great tour... prime Helloween!
Not my dream setlist, but probably close to what we will get:
"Transylvania" (from Iron Maiden, 1980) as intro
"Phantom of the Opera" (from Iron Maiden, 1980)
"Prowler" (from Iron Maiden, 1980)
"Murders in the Rue Morgue" (from Killers, 1981)
"The Trooper" (from Piece of Mind, 1983)
"Where Eagles Dare" (from Piece of Mind, 1983)
"Run to the Hills" (from The Number of the Beast, 1982)
"Hallowed Be Thy Name" (from The Number of the Beast, 1982)
"Powerslave" (from "Powerslave, 1984)
"Alexander the great" (from Somewhere in Time, 1986)
"Moonchild" (from SSOTSS, 1988)
"Clairvoyant" (from SSOTSS, 1988)
"Tailgunner" (from No Prayer, 1990)
"Affraid to Shoot Strangers" (from FOTD, 1992)
"Iron Maiden" (from Iron Maiden, 1980)
Encore
"Fear of the Dark" (from FOTD, 1992)
"Wasted Years" (From Somewhere in Time, 1986)
"Sanctuary" (from Iron Maiden, 1980)
Great Setlist! I guess I wouldn’t mind removing Rime to save Alexander The Great and add Moonchild.
you were shocked they didnt play Hallowed on the Future Past when they had already been playing it for Legacy
Yeah because it’s Hallowed Be Thy Name. It should never leave the Maiden setlists IMO
I hear you with No Prayer and FOTD… probably my two least favorite Maiden albums with Bruce
It hurts my soul that not 1 person in this comment section asked for sun and steel
A few people have. Great song!
No way the setlist won't include Iron Maiden.
Yeah you’re probably right. I could afford to not hear it on just one tour, personally.
Buddy....you forgot the song Iron Maiden. Wouldn't be in my dream set....but no way they don't play it
You’re right, it will most likely be there. I wouldn’t mind if it was left out for some other Dianno material instead tho
Clueless! Number of the beast? Can I play with madness…I could go on!
This is a practical dream setlist… I don’t need another greatest hits tour.
Quest for Fire ? anyone? 😂
I’d love to hear that!
Strange World
Purgatory
22 Acacia Avenue
To Tame A Land
Back In The Village
Sea of Madness
The Prophecy
Run Silent, Run Deep
Childhood's End
Innocent Exile
Charlotte the Harlot
Die with Your Boots On
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Iron Maiden
The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
No Prayer for the Dying
Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)
Nice selection of deep cuts! This would be amazing!
@@TheCDGuyJZ Thanks , would be nice to see.
Purgatory
Children of the Damned
Sea of Madness
Still Life
The Fugitive
No prayer for the dying
To tame a land
Infinite Dreams
Flash of the blade
Childhoods end
Alexander the great
22 acacia avenue
Run silent run deep
Only the good die young
Great choices! This set would be legendary!
50 years aniversary tour. It should include the whole discography. The first álbums were covered on the early years tour
wrong, they already did the first 4 albums in Eddie Rips Up the World Tour and then the first 7 with FOTD included for some reason in Somewhere Back In Time Tour.
