One of the unique advantages the C4310 has over the competition is that it’s a cab over. The turning radius and lack of “nose” from the hood, makes it’s smaller more controllable vehicle when traversing dense forests
i use it for a recovery/exploration vehicle, tow a friend out of the mud and go across the map, may need fuel more often than its other cabover friends, but dang does it feel good to drive
IMO C-4320 is better because of smaller front bumper that makes ground clearance bigger and because it is much shorter you can drive on the more steep Hills or rocks
The ol 375 was always my goto when i was logging. It seemed to be the most stable, and most durable and seemed to be the underdog of the C class. But this proved its definatly a contender.
You really need to be easy on the gas with the C-260 - then it truely is the best truck, as it offers the C-6317 off-road ability with its wide tires with better fuel economy, yet still has the big 330L fuel tanks. It's slightly worse than the 6317 at crossing rivers though thanks to its lower air intake. Not to mention the ability to carry long longs.
I tend to take the 4320-10 over the others because the 4320 is my favourite truck, with suiting my driving best out of anything in the game. I still don't get why you can't even select it when you start a map.
Just makes no sense to me to have a weird looking alternative version but not the original. Even if it was 4 star I'd pick it above everything else except for on watery maps. (255 all the way.)

Great testing duell, good overview about performance level of the different trucks. Another point is the availabilty of addons: e.g. the medium log equipment with crane or the short log loader with crane which aren't avaiable for all of the trucks

Interesting. When I played, C-4310 performed much worse in mud and had to use the winch more often than usual or get the D-535 to rescue it. Also, C-260 performed much better than shown here, especially in mud. I guess there are more variables than I thought.
What i take from this video: C-4310 is average off the road, but sucks on the road. C-260 is good at going fast, but not soo much offroading. C-432010 is positively balanced. C-375 is great for usual offroading, but will break at anything too wild.
My personal favorite is the C-375 it seems to get anywhere I take it no problems exempt I don’t take that truck in deep waters because it’s pretty bad in that area of off-roading.
i fell in love with the 4320 finding them free roaming i am happy to have just unlocked the 432010 :) the 375 and 4310 served me well up till this point.

Maybe that bigger engine just tears up and digs into the mud, but playing them the same way, 255 is more reliable. C-4310 is too easy to get stuck, but a very good all-rounder. C-432010 has the front bumper too far out and I have needed rescue (usually with the 255) too often. C-375 is pretty good, I like it. Feels like a slower, more offroad-capable 4310. However, I don't feel like its enough of an upgrade since I'll either want good speed (4310) or great offroading (255).

(C 255) it has a low center of mass due to the wide track of the wheels and its weight to power ratio es one of the best in the game, is one of the 3 trucks that can carry long loads (Kraz 260 ,Kraz 256 (6x4) and Kraz 255 ) bonus fact: the model has been the same since Tech demo just some minor changes in Legacy Spintires and a new grill on Mud runner lol
SD1ONE yes in spintires c-255 was OP, two of them to complete an objective with crane-carriage and long logs, they were unstoppable. However in mudrunner they have been nerfed and suck in mud now, making them basically useless for logging

Even though the C - 432010 has the most torque, the transmission is not smart enough to compliment the torque presented. I think you made the right choice, however because the weight makes up for it. the C - 375 did use the winch, soooo...
THE VALLY DLC IS ON XBOX I feel the cab over is a great do anything the 260 is the best due to the fact it can do all logs with both cranes ans has amazing power

Game folder/Media.zip/classes/trucks - there are .xml files with properties that work similar to .txt files. You can also modify them and try things... at yout own risk of course!

Can you tell me how to get the dev tools into other maps? The proving grounds map has the dev tools but these maps don't look like the proving grounds map, so i was just curious (I may not need to be to curious because people say that curiosity killed the cat).
Mudrunner is a complete mess. They made a lone car design. All have the same front grille. Spintires - due to the fact that it retains the authentic design of cars, playing is much more fun and enjoyable.
like if you are going up to a steep incline, or if you have to go over really small steep hills it does. for off roading you want your front wheels as close to the front of the truck as possible.
i wish you cold modify the trucks, like the 1st one star trucks you start out with, add more power, a lift kit and bigger tires. sometimes i would just like to bomb around the map like a big truck in a 1 star.

Not to mention it has the ability to load 7 points and have a crane, which is way more important than being 2 seconds slower in a race.

I love using the c-4310 it's soo well rounded and hauls logs fast with good fuel economy.
It handles mud very well and never seems to get stuck.
Man oh man I just rescued a C-260 pulling 2 garage points with a C-432010 in a river. Well deserved winner
C-432010 because of that turbo whistle and spirit of Ural.

Your testing only trans and gears. Put them all in 1st high range then you testing will be more accurate.

You can always shift into half of first gear, by moving the gear shifter in the middle of first gear to get more grip by slowing the wheels
