I do not know the temp strength of teflon tape. I made the video because I found the item was not made to fit properly nor have the fit and finish I wanted. I rather change out the coolant bottle and level sensor every 2 yrs since they are inexpensive. I am going on year #9 of ownership by just changing out the plastic bottle. Thanks for looking.
Yes, I switched to green coolant due to being inexpensive and I change it out every 2 yrs. Yes people say you should use the BMW coolant. I do use it for my 645ci but for the E36 I use the green stuff. Thanks for looking.
