I'm in the New England humidity, combo skin with oily T-zone, and this foundation looks GORGEOUS on me all day. Don't be scared if you have slightly oily skin! If you prep your skin correctly (use a good moisturizer, oil control primer) then this looks like skin but better.

I always like comparing what people think. I’m 66 with drier more mature skin, No issues on the texture or pigmentation. I tried a sample in 8n loved it. Just ordered a full bottle. It’s also funny to see the swatches to me it looks like the 14 is lighter than the 12
I’ve got enlarged pores , combo to oily skin , acne scars, and live in Palm Beach 80+ degree weather currently . I used Huda blurring jam primer , and found this foundation absolutely BEAUTIFUL on the skin 👍!! It’s comparable to the Haus Labs , but not as radiant or shiny . This is a home run for me, and absolutely love this foundation 🫶👌!!

I'm 47 with dry skin, with a great moisturiser rather than a primer and just a little Mac pore and prime where I need it, it is absolutely gorgeous. It's not readily available in Australia yet, so I ordered direct from the website, and the postage was so expensive. This foundation has knocked Nars off the number one spot for mature skin.
I've been waiting for your thoughts on this one!! I bought this foundation on release day (which i NEVERdo lol). My sephora didn't have all the shades out for swatching, so i had them match me. I'm usually your shade twin, but I purchased the 8N. It is a pretty good winter shade for me, but I have some redness, and I think the olive tone might help with that. I love the luminosity of this foundation, but I'm finding it a little finicky with certain primers. I tried it on its own, and I didn't think it was long wearing that way, but I may try again. I also may try with the tatcha! My favorite way I've worn it so far was with the Glowish Blur Jam over my textured areas. Thank you, Tara!!!

Using the Dior powder no powder to touch up makes that foundation look perfect! (Even over my orange peel & texture. I was shocked!😳) Mario foundation, Hourglass setting powder, Dior forever skin correct concealer & Dior powder no powder (for touch ups when needed) have become my new HG complexion combo. I have oily, aging textured skin with rosacea and I found it fussy. I only got it to work when I really prepped my skin with Tatcha silk canvas primer & blurring powder over my challenge areas, before its application. Then it looks beautiful, but it definitely takes more prep work! It definitely emphasized my pores and my "orange peel" areas. Great review Tara & Happy New Year!

I totally agree with your review. I am a little older than you and this foundation isn't pore friendly. I used it for 3 days. I am glad I got a sample and didn't buy it.
I do get dysport. I got microneedling done, and I loved it.. and it worked. But I should of done treatments back to back. I live in Texas Right outside of austin

This was unfortunately a no for me. I do have an oily t-zone and this did not work or wear well due to that, but I disliked it mostly for the way it wore on my texture, pores, mature skin. This year I’m going to be tougher on foundations…I don’t want to have to do a bunch of things to make it work for me…too many foundations on the market and to come for that.

My new obsession. Lol. I discovered them back in May when I went on vacation, and I haven't stopped wearing them since. My favorite styles are Amplify +, Curl + and the regular Amplify & Curl styles. In this video, I was wearing the Amplify + . (The + means a thinner band, which is more natural) i put them on and they last me about 5-7 days, which i love😁 I also created a video discussing my Lashify experience. You can search Tara Lynn Lashify and it should come up. (I go into great detail about how i apply, it seems like a lot of steps, but each set takes me 10 minutes to apply😁)

So take my comments with a grain of salt cuz I’m someone who feels guilty keeping something unless it makes me do a double take in the mirror 😊 but I returned it already cuz in the winter I mix CT light wonder with Nars light reflecting and get a the same finish, but more blurring cuz the Nars is tops on that. So it’s lovely and less work than mixing. But I hate seeing glitter particles on my face and my partner hates when they transfer onto him 😊.
I love the Charlotte Tilbury Light wonder, it's absolutely beautiful 😁 I didn't notice the glitter particles in the MBM Foundation. I have seen a few comments mentioning that, but I never noticed it, all 4 days I wore it. I'm glad you got your money back😁 And thanks for sharing your experience, really helpful💕💕

I couldn't agree more! Comparable to haus labs but not as radiant, and less runny. Thicker in consistency. But skin like.

It's not. Orange peel is a description of a kind of skin texture. She pointed to the areas on her face where she has that texture.

I have oily, aging textured skin with rosacea and I found it fussy. I only got it to work when I really prepped my skin with Tatcha silk canvas primer & blurring powder over my challenge areas, before its application. Then it looks beautiful, but it definitely takes more prep work! It definitely emphasized my pores and my "orange peel" areas. Great review Tara & Happy New Year!

This was unfortunately a no for me. I do have an oily t-zone and this did not work or wear well due to that, but I disliked it mostly for the way it wore on my texture, pores, mature skin. This year I’m going to be tougher on foundations…I don’t want to have to do a bunch of things to make it work for me…too many foundations on the market and to come for that.
Uh no I don’t like illumination of any sort, I heard other reviews saying there is shimmer in this foundation which turns me off.

Hallo Tara, thank you ❤️. Great review so detailed. I was just going to scratch it off my list after watching a nother review. One question... Unpopular opinion here, one of the worst Highend foundations I tried was Laura Mercier luminous one. Just separated and slipped on my nose. But the Nars light reflecting did great is it like either of these? Thank you so much for such an amazing review and demo. Happy New Year 💙🤍💙

Regarding my lashes, I am wearing Lashify. My new obsession. Lol. I discovered them back in May when I went on vacation, and I haven't stopped wearing them since. My favorite styles are Amplify +, Curl + and the regular Amplify & Curl styles. In this video, I was wearing the Amplify + . (The + means a thinner band, which is more natural) i put them on and they last me about 5-7 days, which i love😁 I also created a video discussing my Lashify experience. You can search Tara Lynn Lashify and it should come up. (I go into great detail about how i apply, it seems like a lot of steps, but each set takes me 10 minutes to apply😁)

So take my comments with a grain of salt cuz I’m someone who feels guilty keeping something unless it makes me do a double take in the mirror 😊 but I returned it already cuz in the winter I mix CT light wonder with Nars light reflecting and get a the same finish, but more blurring cuz the Nars is tops on that. So it’s lovely and less work than mixing. But I hate seeing glitter particles on my face and my partner hates when they transfer onto him 😊.
I love the Charlotte Tilbury Light wonder, it's absolutely beautiful 😁 I didn't notice the glitter particles in the MBM Foundation. I have seen a few comments mentioning that, but I never noticed it, all 4 days I wore it. I'm glad you got your money back😁 And thanks for sharing your experience, really helpful💕💕

I watched 1 million of your foundation reviews but you never actually tell us which one is your favorite foundation so my question is where is your favorite foundation?
That's such a hard question to answer. I have several that I love for different skin days, or if I'm wanting full coverage, or skin tints. I would say one of my new favs is the Makeup By Mario Surreal Skin Foundation. But, in December I uploaded a video discussing my top favorite Foundations of 2022. Here is the Video.
