Hello Tiffany, how I wish I can help your student but I don't speak Spanish. The list of materials for this activity is found in the video description. I tried to use google translate and listen to it. I know few words but not confident enough to know if the translation is correct. Hope this can help. He can watch the video as a guide. Materiales: 2 tazas de harina 1 taza de sal 3/4 taza de agua 1. Mezcle la harina y la sal. 2. Agrega agua poco a poco. 3. Forma una masa plana para moldear tu dinosaurio o conchas. * Se puede secar al sol. * o hornear a 200 grados centígrados hasta que se seque
Hi Kashan, I haven’t tried that. I have tried drying under the sun and baking in the oven. But yours is a good idea. I will try it next time. You may try it too and keep me updated. Thanks!
Yep, my teacher said the salt will prevent descomposition. After it’s dry, you can paint them and put some varnish or some protective resine so it doesn’t break
The fossils will not get molds as long as they are dry and in an open air area. Do not keep it a closed container if it is not dried completely. I keep them in a tray.
Today morning, I didn’t have any time to eat then I went to class then I remembered that my teachers dad was coming over to help us make one of those and it was so much fun. We also got to do shells like on the picture of your video when you see like the video it’s kind of weird though I said it, I really like how it turned out and we also did one of those that are like smell like coffee. I don’t know why like the sand or whatever it smelled like coffee and it was also brown with a little bit of color is like the same skin color as me.

Hi, great video! I was hoping to use it for my students at school as part of a larger video I am producing (remote learning), but am concerned about copyright issues. Is it ok to use it in this manner? Thanks!
@@HungrySciANNtist2020 Hmmm. It seems I have now been blocked from Facebook due to inactivity and an updated passport. Would it be possible to give details here? I'm creating a short video (using iMovie) about Fossils for my students (How fossils form, fossil classification and why we study fossils). As a final activity I was hoping to use your video to show students how to make their own at home since we are learning remotely.
@Luke Pollard That would be an interesting activity for the kids. How do you plan to use my video? Are you going to download it? then add it to the movie you’re creating? (If yes, this should not appear publicly in the internet and should be use solely for educational purposes or to your class or school alone). I do allow my fellow educators to use my videos this way. I am a teacher myself, so I understand the importance of using video in the classroom and instructions. So which way you’re planning to use it? Will you just show my video in youtube and provide them the link? (Watching and giving out this link will be just fine.) Anyway, If you have questions you can ask me here if ever you encounter challenges in executing your activity. Good luck!
@@HungrySciANNtist2020 Hi, I would not be publishing it publicly. It would be circulated to my students through a private messaging app in a group solely for the students. I was hoping to download it and then insert it into an iMovie production. My intent is solely for educational purposes and in a limited setting - I'm not intending on distributing to anyone besides the students. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate the feedback!
Can we just leave them out in the classroom for a few days? It won't be easy for me to put them in the oven or the sun....Also, how many fossils does one batch make?
I have a science british day tomorrow and when I saw this I told my mom can you do this and she said that this is the perfect way to do it so now I have a competition and I think I will win and I won thank you for the video subscribed and like thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi! I think around 3-4 fossils. Yes, you can leave it inside the room to air dry.
Wow
can I add some color to the dough?
Hi lili, yes you can.
Instead of drying it can we freeze it?😭☠️
It failed for me 😢😢
Dimetrodon!
U use American standard measures ?
Hi! I used a plastic cup in this video. But surely you can use a measuring cup and use the same proportion. 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 3/4 cup water.
Thank You This Will Really Help My School Project-
Nice to know that! Good luck
