Code Vein content in 2024?! Let’s friggin’ go! This game was my introduction to the souls-like genre, and I’ve racked up 3 full playthroughs (plus one that was unfinished). Very nice to see that the game is still good enough to garner attention.
My first playthrough was partnerless and it felt like a truly challenging Souls experience with the final boss being one of my most satisfying Souls boss kills that I can remember. Can’t wait to see how this play through goes 😁👍
With the right builds there easy but there like ng+++ to start so they will butcher you Also how was this harder then elden ring? I beat it solo and I suck at souls games
Can relate to what you said about your first playthrough. Every time I replay this game I'm getting much better at making effective and fun builds with different playstyles and get more annoyed with myself playing like an absolute dummy first time 😅
ive been heavy engrossed in dragons dogma 2 so its gonna be kinda hard to split my attention away a little bit for some code vein but i should be strong enough to do it fr
I’m doing a spells only run, with no drain attacks allowed. I just beat vaguely feminine wolf boss. Which means I got access to some pretty strong spells. It’s a bit complicated at the start. And you practically NEED a partner to clear Oliver Collins. It’s a super fun challenge run.
My only problem with this game was the dlcs, they were kinda lazy when compared to the rest of the game. However the game itself is a must play for people who enjoy the genre, i remember deleting about 2 hours of play time because i didnt get all those memories thingies that allowed you to save the corrupted people.
@@pernellcook5900 This was my first souls game so I have a soft spot for it. But it's a game I have a lot of fun with. And yeah I'm doing well, I hope you are too
Codevein may have its flaws, but theres something really special about this game. I rly dig the anime souls asthetic, and after beating all fromsoft games (except sekiro and the new armored core) i can say yes you will find a new playthrough of basegame much smoother, but tbh the dlc still gives me a hell of a hard time. Plz post vid when u explore dlc. All in all i know alot of people talk shit on this game but it will always have a special place in my heart and i pray to the bandai namco gods often for a sequel taking advantage of current gen advancements
As good as cv is, they had plenty of power and time to add and improve it. More clothes, more weapons. But instead we got bad dlc bosses and like 4 dlc character items. Even still, such a damn good game but there was so much potential that they didnt bother with
@@AriezPlays just downloaded this last night and going to play it today. It doesn’t look hard but man that invasion was rough looking with that big boy.
@@nickstockwell9148 This game does give you an ally at pretty much all times. Invasions are a lot easier to handle when you do it with them. I'm only doing it without one for the added challenge lol

The coolest thing about this game that it takes place in the god eater universe
Ong?
It's still a theory, it could be an alternative universe
@@kurokawa_.0812The game itself literally show and explain aragami. Even Dios Pita was shown. How is it not in same universe?
CODE VEIN aged well like fine wine❤

I feel like Code Vein is a good chunk harder than Elden Ring but easier than Lies of P for sure.
@@dero4378 I'm really interested in seeing how hard the Code Vein DLC bosses are when I get there. I heard they're pretty tough
@@AriezPlays I heard the same thing. and also saw Lobos fight em. But it's been a while, I don't even remember what they look like.

i never finished this game i only beat the first boss
If Oliver had you stressing im pretty sure Milo will victimize you.
This game is hella underrated. It's got flaws, but compared to souls games it's nearly perfect 😅
DLCs are atrocious though 😅
Infusions are the only thing in this game I never really bothered with. Just too lazy😅
sweet
Gameplay seems fun but these graphics are questionable for being released in 2019.
When do the invasions end????
Never (after you kill the last enemy of the horde).
