This new Array modifier has so many options its almost overwhelming! but that is really a compliment, I appreciate the team giving us all the options we'd want :)
Array grid option is so powerful. Although spline option is not like that. I try to create railing like object many times but it doesn't work. I want same spaced (at much as possible) post with one post must be at the corners. Still array modifier has got much functionality. Really liked it. Array and path deform gives better result for railing as path deform bends the geometry. Although Path deform is too slow. These is much can be done with modifier without going to more complex options.
Well.. Blender nor Houdini nor C4D doesn't have all the options in here as built-in option. So, I guess Max is not that late to the game. Because 3dsMax Array provide all this option included, you don't have to figure out all the math and just focus on making art.

Which bugs are you referring to? Which version are you using ? Did you log it as defect? Did you check the release notes? There has been hundreds of bug fixes over the years.
They have mostly fixed every thing I've reported that was a bug... around 20 or more. If you have something specifically report it or share it, otherwise... you are just a troll :)

just a note that to use "first middle last" you need minimum 4 objects, and not 3 like one could think...
That's already fixed in 2024.2.

Did you normalize the spline?
This small function should have been developed ten years ago, but you have only completed it now. If you are not disappointed, who will be?
