- In this video I will be taking my first look at the song "As Your Voice" by Diana Ankudinova. I will be watching two videos, a lyric Video, and a Live performance. I have also seen this song titled "By your voice" and "By thy voice".

Cheer! You have understood all the ambiguity of these lyrics which gave rise to passionate debates between the translators. "Golosom tvoim" can be translated as "As your voice" and "By your voice" (At the call of your voice") In Russian the meaning of an expression can change depending on the context in which it is inserted ( in other languages as well).
When we ask Diana about the meaning of a song, she likes to say that people can each have a different perception of it, each one appropriates it according to who they are or what they have experienced. That's what often makes a great song. Precision and poetry are not close friends.
The only thing we have no doubt about when listening to this song is that Diana is very attached to her country! She always explains that it is thanks to her mother and her motherland that she was able to become what she is. (she always forgets about her hard work. Her mother and sister Anastasya created favorable conditions for her to flourish, but Diana is the main "culprit" for her success)

When we die we become part of the larger spirit which you can see and hear in nature. That's the idea of looking to the world to see our ancestors. We become one, and the living can tune into this. Thats what I get from the lyrics. The idea that death doesn't stop the song of the spirit, which is something I kinda see...

One of my most favorite songs! Shamanic vocalizations are simply fascinating! Diana has at least six performances with this song on the channel. It's strange that you chose only these two performances.

I have no doubt that she sang this live at the concert. What I was saying was that someone dubbed the original track over the live performance on the video. If you go back and watch it, you'll see the inconsistencies between the video of her singing and what we are hearing.

Nothing like this! You are wrong! In the 2nd performance (at the concert) there was no sound overlay from the 1st video (video clip). Listen carefully: in the 1st performance (video clip) there are various additional sounds: splashing water (1:42), cry of seagulls (1:48, 4:11), waterfall (3:16), coastal waves (3:36) etc. These sounds are not at the concert!

I'm not saying it was the music video audio specifically. It was just audio from a studio recording. I'm not the only one who thinks this. Read the comments. There are others who see it too. No one is trying to take anything away from Diana. We all know she can sing amazingly live.

В песне нет названия Родины. У Брендона своя родина (Грузия), у Дианы - своя. Песня "Голосом твоим" - первая, написанная Брендоном специально для Дианы. Для анализа лучше посмотреть записи репетиции выступления (2020.02.26.) и премьерного показа песни на концерте Брендона в Вегас Сити Холл (2020.03.01.) Эти записи находятся на официальном канале Дианы Анкудиновой на Ютубе.

Greetings from Scotland! A staggeringly good song from Diana and in the first video the great team at SV studios combined it together with some beautiful visuals to produce an excellent video. I agree with you about the second video, it's as if somebody overlayed the live performance with the studio recording. BUT sometimes Diana DOES reproduce it exactly as it sounds in a recording. It may have happened because some venue's have poor audio equipment that sound horrible?
Here is a verified live performance, no studio overlay here guaranteed! (The audience are just a meter away!) clearly a very slight variation from the studio recording, especially the final high note! (She went even higher than the studio recording!) 😲😲

Yeah, on the second video, I saw a few times that her visual wasn't matching up to the audio. That was what got me started looking for signs that it was a track. We all know she is a phenomenal Live singer. I'm with you. Something must have gone bad with the recording for them to cover it.
@@TouchyReactions Absolutely! Diana makes it easy to overlay because she is usually spot on with her timing so matches each performance very closely! There are a couple of such examples online, side by side performances from different times - and they are almost 100% synchronised! Amazing!

Зачем Диана петь под фонограмму с её то возможностями.
Я знаю, что она может петь вживую очень хорошо. Я просто думаю, что кто-то в телестудии, должно быть, добавил трек после или заставил ее петь над треком. Я не знаю, почему.
В первом видео Диана поет ".. и когда уйду" - это аллегория, уйду из жизни имеется ввиду, и "вернусь голосом твоим!"
