A very interesting and detailed reaction. Diana is a soloist a priori, often when singing in a duet, she deliberately goes, if not into the background, then tries not to stand out too much. Yesterday, Diana released a new song written especially for her, there you can hear how she rises to D6. I highly recommend it.

Все эти небольшие подробности она умудряется преподносить нам, как настоящие, интересные открытия. Настоящий профессионал: она радуется тому, что всё это понимает - и может нам объяснить. Ещё раз убедился в том, что это был превосходно сделанный номер на данном шоу; не исключено, что вообще лучший. Отличие этих двух артистов просто бросается в глаза (и в уши). Дубцова, с её отлично вышколенным, хорошо поставленным голосом: голос - знакомый, ожидаемый, хорошо вписывающийся в рамки такой музыки; способ вокальной работы - понятный, ожидаемый, в общем, тоже знакомый; образ и поведение на сцене - понятные, довольно традиционные именно для такой музыки, ожидаемые; и даже её костюм - понятный, знакомый, ожидаемый, традиционный. Диана Анкудинова: голос - неожиданный, нетрадиционный, ни в какие рамки не вписывающийся; способ вокальной работы - нетрадиционный, не вполне понятный для непрофессионала, неочевидный; образ и поведение на сцене - неординарные, естественные, нетрадиционные, неожиданные; костюм - неожиданный, нетрадиционный, и в данном конкретном случае - резко отличающийся от всех других, абсолютно индивидуальный. Не буду объяснять, что мне больше по душе, и на кого я с огромным удовольствием посмотрю ещё столько раз, сколько мне удастся - потому что в искусстве вообще и в музыке в частности больше всего ценю именно это: яркую, ни с чем не сравнимую, никем не заменимую индивидуальность...
Михаил, вы совершенно правы - среди огромного множества вокалистов, певцов и исполнителей очень трудно быть индивидуальным и узнаваемым, но только не для Дианы Анкудиновой! 👏👏👏

Мы все тут собрались, в общем-то, из-за Дианы. И это понятно. Но мне сейчас хочется сказать про Ирину Дубцову. На мой взгляд, она одна из лучших певиц на российской эстраде. И по какой-то странной причине одна из самых недооценённых, недополучивших той славы, которую она заслуживает. Жаль, она достойна быть на вершине, в одном ряду, скажем, с Полиной Гагариной.

With this "harpoon" Diana impresses almost everyone from the first seconds ... and attracts the listener, up to the last second of the performance ... And the spectator has only to "helplessly" allow her to pull herself out of the zone of the already familiar world vocal - into the zone of her element ... into the zone of Diana's musical tornado ...! And this "harpoon" is able to carry not only a man, but also a whale into Diana's element ...!!

Great analysis i learned more things about vocals today thanks to you.
It seams that you jumped straight in to the song and did not see the rules of the show so you should know that the singers have no idea with whom they are having a duet with, not even if it is a female or a male, the sound in their ear pieces is distorted with cartoon voices and they also practiced the song a couple of times before the main performance and without their partner so you can understand that they had great technical difficultis in puling this one but they still managed greatly.
Diana being the possessor of the darkest voice almost always takes the second role in duets but she could easily sing as high or even higher than Irina, you should really take a listen to her new song that has been released just yesterday she showcases her chic high register there.

Thank you very much for this reaction, Jen. Without it I wouldn't have become aware of this performance. Besides those artists impressive vocal capabilities however, for me the original performance by Freddy Mercury is still the best one. Especially as this was the song of him knowing that his days were numbered and he was about to turn around the corner soon... Those lyrics are an emotional revelation that no one can top and hearing his song always makes me very emotional and sad. For sure THE song I want to have played when it's my time to say good bye...
It’s not about being “better” or outdoing the original.
Sure Freddy's version is a classic. But then again he didn't have to learn this as a brand new song just 2 hours prior - and in a different language. Pretty impressive in my book.
Diana has a voice like Christmas Cake and Wensleydale Cheese, rich, complex and beautifully balanced. Duetting with her is never going to be easy.
I gotta say i love the down to earth feel about you and your videos, and the professional touch you got. Not forgetting the casual humor. And apparently so does over 100k other people :)

I first discovered your channel chasing after reactions to Diana's cover of I Can't Help Falling In Love. Just such an entrancing cover. And of course I fell in love myself with your awesome reaction and analysis style. 😊 Diana's story is amazing, sad and also happy. Her voice is so unique. Her timbre me think so much of my teenage crush Cher but yet still very different. Anyway this duet was amazing. Parts of it almost gave off James Bond vibes. Для меня Дубцова звучит неряшливо, много суеты - мало красоты в голосе.
Не надо так ,через каждую секунду останавливаться, это сильно мешает.

они не как будто не знали, они на самом деле не знали, у них до шоу не было совместных репетиций, и в ушах они слышали друг друга в измененном виде , как голос персонажа из мультфильма, например как Чип и Дэйл! и услышали они друг друга в неискаженном виде только после того как поднялась стена!) в этом шоу зритель узнает кто поет в дуэте раньше чем артисты в этом дуэте поющие!)
