I got so hyped when I saw the images for the teams because I thought it was going to be celestial themed like "What's the best celestial body??" I was so sad when I realized was it with Friday vs Saturday vs Sunday 😭 (I picked team Sunday bc the Sun is the best celestial body. Also as a ruler of everything ref.)
It's pretty simple what Team Saturday has to do. Win Tricolour. I think if Saturday wins enough Tricolour matches, I think this could make a difference. And I suspect that even if another team scores open and pro, all Saturday has to do is win Tricolour. If Satruday loses and loses hard, in that case if you wear glasses, you must play one match without wearing your glasses.
Use a weapon that is in the same type as your main. (If your main is Splattershot use a different shooter etc.) and get 4-star on it, but you can only grind on the day of the week that wins the fest. Also stream it please! I love this series btw. Keep it up and have a great fest!
The Japanese theme is COMPLETELY different. It's about your favorite of the following: Red Bean Paste, Custard, or Whipped Cream! Also yea I'm pretty confident Saturday will win but just in case: If Saturday does not win, you have to wear the most visually atrocious outfit you can make until you win 3 games with it. No special challenges for each team, but I didn't have a lot of ideas here so... anyways Team Saturday for the win! (And Team Custard!)

(For the Japanese Splatfest I would probably either pick Frye's team or Big Man's team (Not mentioning the names because I forgot them lol)) Since there is a 0% chance Saturday doesn't win popularity I'll suggest a hard challenge. You have to play one match and you have to follow one player on your team around the entire match, and have to get the exact same kill count as the teammate you're following. If your teammate gets splatted you have to jump back to base and wait for them, and if you get splatted you have to jump in to your teammate unless they get splatted while you respawn.
I like how none of the weekday's names make any sense because all of them are based on gods that most people don't know anymore. Especially in German were they are just a random word with "tag" (day) at the end (except for "Mittwoch" (Wednesday) which means Midweek which is only true for a Sunday week).

Because (in my time zone) all three days are the Splatfest days - the evening on Friday, all through Saturday, and most of Sunday. I also think part of the charm of splatfests is that they’re often a little arbitrary and dumb - seeing people pick their team and make posts about their pick is a lot of fun, since it’s more about the event itself than the question.

Im a bit dissapointed this theme wont tie into side order but oh well. Team Sunday (not just for the low mirror matches but because I actually enjoy it), if team Saturday dosent win popularity you have have 2 matches where you can only splat when the tati cooler efects are on.
Saturday will probably win popularity by a lot, and thus will get lots of mirror matches. I want to avoid that, and picked Sunday. Friday imo isn't even part of the weekend, except for its last few hours, and I don't want Shiver to win another Splatfest.

That's a terribly inaccurate comparison 😂 Friday evening is considered "weekend time" because it precedes Saturday, a weekend day. Monday morning precedes...Monday, which isn't a weekend day. Given this distinction, it's perfectly reasonable for Friday to be considered part of the weekend
