Lexiav is playing the campaigns in chronological order in terms of story. Shadow of Death - Restoration of Erathia - Armageddons blade.
Lexiav imposes these rules on himself:
1) No saves/loads throughout the mission. Any failure leads to restart of the current mission.
2) No replaying battles multiple times by declining results
3) Always play on hardest available difficulty

It's always a bit weird when you play necro campaign and then you go back to normal factions. You suddenly have to manage army, economy, strategise fights. Seems lore accurate tho, necro is just known for numbers and not much more.
For some reference in heroes 4 you get vamp lords from necromancy which are stronger than homm3 version, and in homm5 you have better version of animate dead which is easier available and more spammable.
@@likenot3073 my only problem with AD in homm5 is that it reduces max hp
Oh boy on 1.0 it actually didn't reduce, same for ressurect. I've gotten to play on base cd version and it's super broken xd
@@Moandar17 in some cases it can be a cool exploit instead of a problem
Because you can reduce your units hp to 1
And then cast vampirism on them to heal to full from the puppeted enemy
Or you can ressurect puppeted enemy units to reduce their max hap
waaaait so me building up gem, crag hack, and gelu means NOTHING?!?!?!?
why on earth did i spend 20 mins after beating a map min maxxing around
will sandro be built up either?? i realise i will probably have to fight him in the last scenario but i didnt mind min maxxing him aswell since i thought all other 4 heroes are gonna be maxxed out.
wtf. this seriously spoils a lot of hard work...

@@TheTallRaver yeah i worked so hard to make the most op heroes and you give me bulshit stats and skills? you bet your ass i am going to try to get the skills i want. i tried once no reroll. and the hack and yog mission is impossible.
Every time that I go back to play this campaign, I always spend at least 1 hour restarting, it's really shame that they didn't transfer stats and it was said in their last missions that they will transfer

i wonder on SoD with 5 necro amps with necro specialist (isra) would the AI be able to reach 100% necro efficiency
Player definitely can do that. I remember some random map where 10+ necro towns spawned so I switched from Conflux to Necro Vidomina. I was harvesting 100% of most stacks as skellies xD
What are two options on bets during campaings?
lol I built mage 4 in all possible towns and didn't get town portal in the hack scenario....it was a nightmare having to run around on foot in such an open map
sir crag hack could you please find this head of legion artifact, its of high importance for our town
crag proceeds to find all legion pieces and slaughter all other lords in the area

why do you have to prove yourself with max difficulty? your playing agains AI why? just enjoy the trip of the campaigns. You dont need to use sandpaper to wipe your bum. Just use toiletpaper.
Challenge is fun, and defeats along the way only make victory sweeter :)
